Birch Press Design Herbarium Plate and Adornment Dove Card…

I’m back!  I didn’t put the glitter cardstock pads away!

Another die cut and glue fast and easy card you could mass produce!

Using the NEW Birch Press Design Herbarium plate Layer A and NEW Adornment Dove dies!

I die cut layer A in the blue green and green.  I had to shim the blue green layer with a folded piece of copy paper to completely cut it (the glitter cardstock is thick) so I knew when I ran the green piece through, it wouldn’t completely cut out the design.  When you layer the green under the blue green it really adds to the depth if it has the design partially cut into it.  I should’ve taken a picture!  I hope that makes sense!

I added two strips of 2 inch scor-tape on the back of the green layer to make sure all the pieces stayed in it and then I just used that to adhere it to a white A2 cardbase.

I glued the blue green layer over the green layer with Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue.

I die cut the solid backer Adornment Dove die in the champagne-ish color glitter cardstock and the outline Adornment Dove in white glitter cardstock.

I LOVE that there’s a backer die for this dove!

Die cut the berries with scraps of red glitter cardstock… there are only three sets of berries, so easy to glue in if you put small pieces scro-tape on the back of the blue green layer before adhering it to the green layer.

Die cut the Peace Honey Script die from red and white glitter cardstock and glue it on.  I used small pieces of mounting tape on the leg of the ‘p’ and behind the ‘c’.

Easy! yay!  Another card done…almost… I didn’t stamp the inside yet!  I’ll be sorry later! haha

Thank you for stopping by to see this.  It’s so pretty IRL.  I wish I was a professional photographer that could capture the true glitter and sparkly of this cardstock!

I’m thinking this dove could be made into an ornament and even layered on a gift loosely with a tag!  So pretty!

Birch Press Design Christmas Ornament Pop Up Easel Card…

Hi everyone! Welcome to my attempt to show how glittery amazing this glitter cardstock from Memory Box is and how fun to use it with this new BPD release!  I’m sitting here looking at the real card wishing I could just show it to you IRL because it is so sparkly and pretty!!!

This was a fast card to make…all die cutting and so easy with a pad of 6×6 glitter cardstock!

Here it is from the side.  I die cut a white cardstock base with the easel die in the set, then I die cut from the glitter paper and glued it to the white card die cut.  Because of the 6 x 6 size of the glitter cardstock, I had to make it in two pieces.  It worked fine, you really can’t tell it.

I’m going to say it again… it was so easy to make! lol  Cut and glue!  This would be a great card for a class or a cardmaker get together!

I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the BPD Christmas Ornament and Labels stamp and die set but I couldn’t decide if I wanted on the card for the pictures!  So it’s laying off to the side.  I will glue it on when I send it.

So pretty too… just glam it up!

It could easy be made into an ornament to hang on the tree or a gift tag!

It folds up so nice and will easily fit in an A2 envelope and mail for one postage stamp.

I added a Memory Box Christmas Fairy Drop in red on the bow.  Boom!  Done!  Taking pictures, trying to capture glitter cardstock took longer!

***Bonus – None of this glitter comes off!!!  Thank you Memory Box! lol

Thank you for visiting today!

Stitched Ornament Merry and Bright Slimline Card…

Hi everyone!  It’s been some time since I used wool felt so I found my box and set to work die cutting and stitching up this new die from Spellbinders Stitched Christmas release.

I meant to make it as an ornament to hang on the tree but once again I forgot the plan and glued it to a card! lol

The pretty branches are part of the die set.

I used Knit Crosheen thread to for my stitching.  Taylored Expressions Tiffany and Avocado wool felt.

I used Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue to adhere the top and bottom avocado felt pieces.

My slimline card size is 3 ⅜ in x 8 ⅜ in.

I used Spellbinders new Mix and Match Holiday Greetings die set for the sentiment. I love this font!  There’s 18 word dies in the set!

Here’s a close up of just the ornament…so pretty!

I wish I could show you this one in person! It’s definitely a card to give to someone that will keep it and get it out for display each Christmas season.

The tiny pearls are from starlitstudio.

Winter Garden Release Letterbox Card…

Special Delivery!  All the fun things of the season right there!  Snail mail, snowflakes, jingle bells and snow!

I went with a Mini Slimline Card for this one.  I used Spellbinders Precision Layering Mini Slimline A and B sets to cut my layers.  I really like these dies because they are heavier and hold the rectangle shape better than the thin silver ones do. I don’t like it when I die cut layers and they’re wonky!

I tore a piece of white cardstock for the mailbox to stand in (snowdrift) and die cut it with the same layer die as the blue background size.  I used Prize Ribbon Regular Distress Ink to ink up the background this time.  I spattered on some water droplets.  I like to spray water into the palm of my left hand, then I rub both my hands together so they’re both wet, then I clap over the inked background to spatter the water drops. I let it sit a minute, then lay a paper towel over it to get the extra water.

Then I spattered on some diluted white acrylic paint.

I die cut the mailbox post from woodgrain cardstock and the mailbox from silver mirror cardstock.

I die cut the sentiment from gold glitter cardstock and white cardstock, then glued the gold on top of the white.

The jingles bells and ‘garland’ are from the NEW More Holiday Decor die set.  I love how cute the little bow is on the super cute jingle bells I die cut in silver mirror cardstock also.

I love that there’s just enough dimension to add perspective.  It’ll still mail in an envelope for one stamp.

I used the thin mounting tape, I’ll link below, behind the mailbox post and box on this card and yesterdays.

Finished size is 3 ½ in. x 6 ½ in.   So happy to have a start on Christmas cards!  I can’t believe we’re half way through July! I need to get more done!

I’ll be back soon….we have to keep making!

Simon Says Stamp Mini Slimline Snowflake Window Stencil Card…

NEW Release from Simon Says Stamp! I received the NEW Snowflake Stencil and made a clean and simple mini slimline card. This one turned out to be 3 ¼ in x 6 ⅜ in.

I sprayed the stencil with Pixie Spray glue, adhered it to Canson Smooth Bristol cardstock and inked with Distress Oxide stamp pads and blending brushes. Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid lagoon.

Let it Snow is a newer die from Memory Box, Let it Snow Posh Script, both layers cut from heavy white cardstock. I mounted it to the panel with pieces of mounting tape.

I embellished the snowflakes with Memory Box Clear, self adhesive Fairy Drops.

I love these pretty, sparkly, Winter colors!

I stamped the inside with a newer sentiment clear stamp set from poppystamps, Wintertime Sentiments with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. Some really fun sentiments in this set. “Thanks for Snow much fun”,  “Happy Winter Wishes to you”, Warm and cozy Winter greetings”, “You are One of a kind”, “Tis the Season to be freezin'”, “The world changes when it Snows”, and more!

I’ll leave you with one more sentiment from this wonderful stamp set… “Friends warm even the coldest of days”.  I agree!  Thank you for stopping by!
