Hello and happy first day of October 2026! Hard to believe! This year has flown by!
A few Christmas cards and tags to share today.
This first card is:
- Spellbinders Old Fashioned Christmas Stocking Die Set
- Simple Stories 6×8 Simple Vintage Old-Fashioned Christmas Paper Pad
- Spellbinders Nested Postage Labels & Tag Die Set
- Simple Stories 4×6 Simple Vintage Old-Fashioned Christmas Stamp and Die Sets
I die cut the background panel, the panel inside the postage frame, stocking, pine branches, holly, berries and the cut apart all from the paper pad. The postage frame and poinsettia are from white cardstock.
The sentiment ‘naughty or nice’ and Merry Christmas inside are from the Simple Vintage Old-Fashioned Christmas stamp set.
The next two cards are framed with the same postage die set die cut in white and I used panels from one of the cut apart pages of the same paper pad.
Linking my ‘naughty or nice’ stocking card to some card challenges…
The 12 months of Christmas linkup #137 – Anything Goes Christmas
Merry Little Christmas #70 – Anything Goes Christmas
NBUS #91 – never-before-used schtuff (NBUS)
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Anything Goes
The ornament on the comfort & joy card is from the same stamp set. Stamped in dark green, die cut with coordinating dies and added a teeny 1/16th inch brad in the loop.
A scrap of one of the paper pad papers and some Mayarts twine and a heart button.
Close ups…
Next are the two tags I made…
Two more of the cut aparts from the paper pad…so cute!
- ribbon from the stamp and die set
- check out that oval eyelet using the new oval Crop-A-Dile!
- tag base, numbers and paper eyelets from Spellbinders Keepsake Capsule Page Die Set
- poinsettia and foliage the same as above
- add twine, jute and ribbon
I love how they all turned out! This is a great size paper pad to work with for cards.
The top card is probably going to take an A7 envelope. It’s 4 ¾ in x 6 in. The other two cards are A2 size.
I hope you enjoyed what I came up with using this Spellbinders Simple Stories release. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! Email me if you have any questions.

LOVELY Pam, they are all just so nicely made! Those cut outs are adorable and I love the Vintage look too! Debbie
Christmas is here. Anyway in your studio. They are all so awesome. All the pieces you put together make the cards. Great art.
These are so wonderfully traditional Pam, I always adore Christmas stockings on cards and am not sure why I don’t make them more often lol. Thanks so much for the inspiration x
Hooray for that fabulous patterned paper and cute card and tags! You are beyond creative with your designs. These lovelies are putting the Christmas spirit in me… at least when it comes to making cards. As always, fall is the start of a busy time of year in all respects, no matter how prepared I try to be, sigh.
Admiring your beautiful card shared at NBUS, and so happy to see more eye candy with the vintage paper. I love the traditional colors and the mix of patterns, layers and textures on the stocking card. Fabulous designs all!
Oh my goodness Pam! These are all adorable! I love all of them! What gorgeous paper! I love the vintage feel of these! I think vintage is my favorite! Thanks for sharing!
This post is a class in card-making and tag-making, Pam! Thank you so much for all AWE-mazing design ideas and for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
