Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms and Memory Box Garland 6×6 Paper…

Hi everyone!  Remember my purple and kraft card a few weeks ago?  I made this at the same time.  I had made up a bunch of Be Bold Blooms flowers and was using them up.  I’m finally getting this card posted!

I know, it’s a little unusual but I like it!  I really like it in real life!  Come on over to see it! I wish! lol

I have several pictures…

This is paper from a Memory Box 6×6 paper pad that I’ve struggled to use but now maybe since I took up the challenge I’ll keep going and get it used!   It kinda reminds me of my quilting days.  The gals in the quilters guild told me I was too ‘matchy’! lol  My cardmaking journey has been trying to loosen up and not be so matchy but not sure it’s working! haha

I like matchy!  So I’m ok with it but I do try to be a little more out there sometimes!  Why the revelation you ask?  Who knows! lol

I used Bazzil Cardshoppe cardstock for the flowers…

Taylored Expressions Strip stamps and die for the sentiment.  Is this too bright for a sympathy card?

I can change it to a birthday card if you all vote that it is!

That’s the end of my photos so I’ll stop talking now! haha

  1. I like it as a sympathy card. I prefer my sympathy cards to be more “soft” than “sad” and this gives me a hopeful feel. I love your work by the way!

  2. Beautiful card, love the layers and flowers, so pretty..
Thank you so much for joining in with our challenge at Little Red Wagon, hope you will play again..
    Luv CHRISSYxx

  3. This is beautiful! I have to tell you I am a matchy person too! I am very picky-that’s why it takes me forever to make a card-ha ha!!

  4. I like your card! I struggle to use my paper pads, this is a great way to use them up!

Sympathy cards don’t need to be all dark and somber, I think people appreciate a little bright spot amongst the sorrow.

  5. Well, I like it and I don’t have a problem with matchy. I don’t think it’s over the top matchy. I also like it as a sympathy card. They don’t always have to be somber and sullen. Sometimes the bereaved needs a lift. I love what you’ve been doing with these flowers.

  6. This is such an incredibly gorgeous card – I like these colors for a sympathy card and love the array of hues too. Absolutely beautiful arrangement of the papers too!!

  7. wonderful card, and I love the soft look of the green paper alongside the bold black and pink. I think this card will bring a smile to anyone’s face, regardless of the occasion that it’s needed for

  8. What a great card! I agree, sympathy cards do not always have to be so somber. I like “matchy-matchy”. I, too, have tons of 6 X 6 papers that I need to use! Quite a few in fact! LOL! Thanks so much for sharing!

  9. Pam, this is gorgeous! I love the mix of patterned papers, and girl, your flowers are beautiful! Well done, as always!

  10. Perfect for a sympathy card! I tend to be “matchy-matchy” too, so you’re in good company! Ha! Love the flowers! I’m not much of a floral person but this set is perfect and not “over the top” as some sets are. Great job my friend! ❤️

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
