Graduation Cards Galore!

Linking my Globe Card to the Word Art Wednesday Challenge – anything goes!

I finally got the TE Little Bits Grad Cap to make this card. I copied it from their website (edited to add the card designer is Kavya).  One difference is I used the Penny Black wood floor. (linked below)

Linking my congradulations card to the Paper Funday May Challenge – anything goes!

This card I used Spellbinders Bold numbers sets, TE grad cap and MFT sentiment.

Linking this colorful card to the A Cut Above May Challenge – anything goes with a die cut.

This one is a TE die and the mini sentiments are from MFT. Oh, the star stamp is from TE also.

I used Black Glossy cardstock to die cut it.  Linked below.

I had fun with this!  I used the NEW poppystamps Joyride Car, an old Quickutz die for the grad caps,  Memory Box Puffy Clouds and the FLY HIGH sentiment is a dollar stamp, probably over 20 years old from JoAnns!  I’d never used it before!

I’m linking my FLY High card to the NBUS challenge #86 – never before used stuff!

and to the Four Seasons Spring Challenge – because Spring is graduations!

and to the Neglected Stuff Challenge – because this Fly High sentiment has to be over 20 years old!

I just inked the background with Distress inks.

This one it’s hard to see but the black behind the cut out letters is embossed with Spellbinders Music folder, I’ll link it below and you can definitely see it better in the last photo.

The grad cap and scroll I used here are from the Classic Mouse Graduation die set…linked below.

I used Altenew’s Bold alphabet to die cut the word GRAD,  I’ll link it below.

I did different color hats…

I’m linking my GRAD card to the Can You Handle the Pressure? Challenge – anything goes with an embossing folder.

and to the Die Cut Divas Challenge blog – all about celebrations!

and to the Word POWER Challenge – focus on the sentiment!

So fun!  I have one more post coming with grad cards…hopefully you’ll be inspired like I was by all the cards out in the interwebs!

I got out all my graduation supplies and now I have a real mess. haha  It’s kind of tempting to keep them all together instead of putting them back away by company.

Thank you so much for stopping by and scrolling through!  Holler if you have any questions!

Memory Box Rainy Day Mouse and Daisy Umbrellas Card…

Hello everyone!  Just what you wanted…to be greeted by a mouse! At least it’s a cute one wanting to have a party!

Pretty straight forward…die cut and glue.  Spattered some white for the background through an oval I die cut in a piece of printer paper.

I put the extra Daisy inside with the sentiment! Birthday Wishes is from an older 2021 Memory Box Joyful Moments stamp set.  I cut off the ‘sending’ word at the top because most of the birthday cards I use I don’t send!

It stamped up nicely in the MISTI and with versafine Oynx ink this time.

Sorry….I’m not finding it at my usual stores.

I made this mouse up four different ways trying to see which way I liked it best.  The first time making it brown, die cut in white and inked with Distress ink, second time die cut in white and inked with Distress Hickory Smoke ink to make it gray, third time was the reverse grays of cardstock of this one I’m posting.  It was cute with pink inked in the ears!  All that to say it can look really different depending on what you use.

The daisy Umbrellas are super cute!

The sentiment banner is from the poppystamps Spring Banners stamp set.  Some of these sets come with dies.  I’ll look this one up and I’ll be sure to link the dies also.  I did shorten this for this card though.

IT”S ON SALE!  $4.99 for the stamps and the dies at Starlitstudio.net!

I love the variety of fun sentiments in this set!

oh, I die cut the raincoat in a green checker paper too and it was super cute. lol  The detail showed up more.  The first two that I die cut in white I inked in Distress Mustard Seed ink.  That was cute too!   Now it just needs boots! haha

This little mouse would be cute nestled in a bunch of flowers for ‘garden whimsy’!  That’s one of the sentiments in the stamp.

A NEW YEAR and some new to me Snowmen…

Hi everyone!  I’m sitting here trying to remember how to do everything involved in writing a blog post. eek!  It’s been a month or so! I’ve been having fun using some of my stash!  I hope I can keep up getting stuff posted.  I have FIVE cards that I have pictures of that I haven’t posted yet.  Where does the time go!

At least I’m getting to it this morning! hoho

I love how fresh and snowy this card is!  Fun colors!

It’s mostly still available dies, I’ll link you up below.  Very basic die cutting and gluing…a little white pen.  Oh I inked the snowglobe base with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool.

I tore a snow layer for the globe and for the background panel so the trees are grounded.  It’s hard to see but it’s there.  I thought about adding glitter but then promptly forgot!

Hope they make you smile and warm up!  It’s cold in Iowa this week.  Yesterday the wind gave the word biting meaning!  No snowmen around town right now though!

I’m linking to some blog card challenges…

Memory Box Decorative Ornaments, Bello Joy and Pinecone and Berries 3D Embossing Folder Card…

Hi everyone! People on social media are so creative with Christmas ornaments!  Have you seen what they are doing with multiple ornaments?  Making clusters!  So cool.  My tree is full of everything I’ve collected and love so I don’t really get into having a theme tree.  It would be fun but… do you change your tree from year to year?

oh, back to this card… Nothing unusual!  Die cuts and here’s the 3D embossing folder I used post before last but just in plain ‘ole white!  I love the depth!

I’m glad I don’t have to pick a favorite technique because I like trying everything! hoho

This is an A2 size card.  Mirror card for the silver cuts and scraps for the baubles!

I ended up die cutting with scor-tape on the backs.  So much easier to stick down without glue EVERYWHERE!

I’m linking to some Christmas Card Challenges…

That’s it for today’s post!  Be sure to comment or email if you have any questions.

The Iowa forecast, in case you’re curious! haha!  We’ve been accused of always talking about the weather here in Iowa!  It’s just dreary and 47˚.  I need to do some work outside but I’m gonna wait for some sunshine!
