Doodlebug Winter Wonderland Snowglobe Mini Shape Card…

Hi friends and cardmakers!  A little more snow here today so a good day to post a cute little snowglobe card I made for one of our grands birthday.

These super cute images are from the Doodlebug Winter Wonderland stamp set and coordinating die set.

The card looks big in my photos but it’s really only 3 x 3 inches!  ❤  The images are small but so cute and easy to color.  I used Copic sketch markers. The largest snowman is 1 ½ inches tall.

I stamped the snowglobe, colored the base, then die cut another snowglobe for the card back.  Scored the back at the top so it would open…glued it above the score line to the card front.

I love how it turned out… charming! It would be a cute tag too.

Hope it made you smile!  I’m going to link it to the #SnowmenOfJanuary event on social media right now.

Thank you for stopping by!

Memory Box House Frame Background LOVE Birdhouse…

Hi everyone! I pulled out a bunch of dies and designed a Wood Grain LOVE birdhouse.  Valentines Day is coming…it’s hard to believe we’re already into the second week of 2022!

I started by die cutting the MB House Frame Background and the heart opening that comes in this die set.

Then I die cut the window and snow/frosting from the MB Gingerbread House Frame Die set.

I cut the MB Wood Grain Planks one time and used them to put siding on the house frame background. Then I ink blended on some Gathered Twigs Distress ink with the mini blending tool.

Then I glued everything together and wanted a sentiment and a branch!

I cut the branch from the MB Serene Bird and Branch die set and glued it flat to the background panel.

I used the MB Pinpoint Leaf Plate for the background panel.  This panel is larger than an A2 size which I really like!  It’s 4 ½ in. x 5 ¾ in. It will fit in an A6 or A7 envelope and still mail for one postage stamp. I inked the edges of the panel with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and the mini blending tool also. I really like this die!

I added some natural narrow jute before I glued the house down.

I decided the heart opening could be the ‘O’ for the word LOVE.  I decided to use the new poppystamps Marzipan Alphabet Outline and Background stamp set and the coordinating dies.  Super fun alphabet set! ❤

I die cut in white cardsock and stamped the outline in Coffee Ranger Archival Ink.  I just used an acrylic block to stamp… I only had to stamp the L twice. lol

I like it! YAY! lol  My favorite colors…or I should say my go to colors! haha

Thank you for stopping by today!  Happy cardmaking New Year to you!

Alexandra Renke Holly Branch Die CAS card…

Hi everyone! Glad tidings to you and your kin!  A clean and simple card to share with you today.  I saw a wreath card on Instagram made up like this so I had to try it!

I used the beautiful, elegant Alexandra Renke Holly Branch die and beautiful Memory Box stamps for the sentiments inside and out.

I die cut the holly branch three times, glued them together.  I think I colored the top one before I glued together.  I don’t know that it’d matter.

My pictures aren’t the greatest, I didn’t have time to set up like normal but I wanted to share anyway.

I colored the berries with Copic Sketch Markers R24, 29 and 89.  The little dot is in the die and I just put a dot of white gel pen on it.

I heat embossed the sentiment in Ranger Detail Gold Embossing powder on a strip of red cardstock and die cut it with the long narrow die from the Birch Press Design Contempo Christmas set.

An A2 size card…

Thank you for stopping by today!  I always appreciate your visits and I want to wish you a blessed Christmas. So much to be thankful for.

I just remembered I might be back with the cards I made for the grandkids!  We’ll see how pictures go!  Down to the wire and I haven’t started wrapping yet!  eep!

It’s That Time of Year… Diecember at Simon Says Stamp!

I have a card to share with the die Simon Says Stamp sent to me to make with.  Fine Textured Leaf die, designed by Memory Box.

You can see the two dies that come in the set off to the sides in the pictures.  I used the smaller one to make the wreath on my card.

I die cut it 11 times in watercolor paper and then painted it with Distress Ink Reinkers.  They look really dark in the pictures, not sure why, but they aren’t this dark IRL.

I used one of the plaids from Memory Box new 6×6 paper pad called Woodsy Plaids.

I die cut the Memory Box new Merry Christmas Posh Script in white and colored them with the E 80’s copics.

I die cut the bow with a die from the Sizzix Festive Greens set #662425, a Tim Holtz set. I used watercolor paper again and colored it with a copic B93.

Very non traditional colors… I attempted to add some red.  Couldn’t do it. lol

This wreath would’ve been striking on white if I’d realized how it was going to photograph! and red!

Lots of potential for a million cards with this die set!  Very fun making wreaths! and that big leafy die!

This card ended up 5 ½ x 5 ½ inches square.

Thank you for stopping by today! I’ll get back to my house… I’ve made a mess getting all the decorations out.  This nine foot tree takes  a lot of stuff! haha

Enjoy this new release!  Lots of beautiful dies!  Here’s to shopping!  Links below.

Memory Box Oval Snowman Collage Tunnel Card…

Hi everyone! I’m sure you’re all having a marvelous time of thanksgiving, shopping and decorating for the season these days!  I started shopping…a way to go for sure! hohoho

I wanted to share this card I’ve had done for a few days before I get back to shopping.

I used this new Memory Box Oval Snowman Collage die.  When I saw it, I knew it would work with some of last years dies!  So I started die cutting.

I will link all the dies I used below.

Then I realized the Memory Box Snowy Forest 3D Embossing Folder would be perfect in the background!

So I inked up the folder with ink and ran it through the Big Shot.

There’s my night sky!  I love it!

I used Mirror cardstocks in gold and silver and glossy black for his hat!

I used Memory Box Fairy Drops for snow on the tree branches but it’s hard to capture.

The next three pictures I added the new Memory Box Let it Snow Posh Script die to the mix… which do you like better?  With the words or without?!

I love the words!  oh, here I go again with the I wish I would haves. lol  But maybe the top let it snow needed die cut in white glitter cardstock?!

I like that it’s not taking the center stage though…

decisions, decisions! Who knew being a cardmaker would be so many decisions! lol

The sun is shining beautifully this afternoon… I’ll finish this up and talk to you all next week!
