Marianne Design…Time flies and Happy Valentines Day!

All to true… time flies…a lot of Marianne Design dies in action here…the newest die is the branch, then the clock (I embossed it instead of cutting it), the flowers, the leaves and the frames are all from Marianne Design!

A little bit of inking with Dusty Concord Distress ink and the ink blending tool…

The butterfly die is embossed like my video HERE…

Tilda with Heart Arrows… Sweet Stamping Pixies Challenge

I think Tilda with Heart Arrows (cupid) is quite the cutie! I spent so much time coloring her that I ran out of time, so she is just matted with card-stocks and the Perfect Paper Layers tools…love them, I DO!!! Layered on pattern paper and then to kraft card-stock. The card measures 6×6. Tilda is colored with Distress Ink reinkers on Langton Hot Press watercolor paper.

Paper Smooches and Artistic Outpost…

Now there is a contrast in companies!!! lol oh well… both cute cards! You know I LOVE cute!

Yesterday was day one of the Clean and Simple Cardmaking 2 Class…. the heart tree card is my take on the homework we were assigned…

I used five sets from Paper Smooches (to get enough different hearts) and a couple older clear sets from Hero Arts for the birdie and the sentiments. Links below to the Paper Smooches sets…

Dot pattern paper is by Paper Studio. The main image mat is cut with the Perfect Layers tools! Link in the sidebar or below in the supply links.

This is an A-2 size card (4.25 x 5.5)

Next up is a stack of snowman ATC’s (artist trading cards). The snowman image is from Artistic Outpost, He is painted with Distress reinkers, the sentiment from Paper Smooches, the snowflake border is a Martha Stewart punch and the washi tape is from My Minds Eye! Cute! love him!

This ATC is 2 1/2 in. x 3 1/2 in.

It’s a dreary day here (weather wise)… working on laundry…need to send a couple cards (imagine that)! Are you like me? Making cards but have a hard time getting them in the mail… ugh! New Memory Box dies and a Snowman card…

Oh WOW! Have you seen the new Memory Box dies? Here’s a short video from BlueMoon Scrapbooking…at the end, you’ll see tons more and a new longer size too! Yikes… I can see it’s going to be hard to “be good” this year! HERE they are in the store. Can’t wait to get to using some of them. I have four of the new ones so far (I had to have the pine needle border) but I’m sure I will be tempted to get more! ; ) Free ship @ $50 for US 48 states and special International rates too! Blue Moon has awesome customer service too!

Here’s a snowman card I made for the Snowman swap at stamp club last Friday….inspired by different ones I’ve seen online… so cute sharing hearts!

I used a snowman Sizzix die that is discontinued… I found him on ebay last year…good luck ‘hunting’ him down! The name on the die is just ‘Snowman’ and the item # is 656299.

The music is a Penny Black stamp HERE. I stamped it twice.. masked the bottom and stamped the head, then stamped again on his body. Old Hyglo heart punch and Quickutz mini Studio alphabet for the X and O. Buttons from Lasting Impressions for paper and pattern paper is old Basic Grey Blush I think. Button on the scarf is from My Favorite Things Die-namics Button die HERE. Hemp is from the Scrapping Center HERE. Love this stuff, it’s just the right weight… comes in other colors too. : )

I’m working on catching up with emails and comments! I’m coming to visit you soon! Today is Tim’s birthday and I need to make a card for the Don and Daisy blog tomorrow and then hopefully it’ll slow down and I can catch up again! woohoo! I should be making Tim a card… ugh. oops. I have some steak for supper! hehe
