How’s it going out there in cardmaker land? I keep seeing the piles of Christmas stuff I want to use and trying not to panic! I’ve been playing with this stamp set off and on, trying the pine branch in the set with my homemade wreath builder template.
I was SO excited when I landed on the placement that resulted in this! I took a picture to show you how I placed it. This is the stamp I used from a Penny Black stamp set, I’ll link it up at the bottom of my post. Isn’t that crazy! Love it! (I think I might make the wreath a smidge larger next try)
I used Lawn Fawn’s Noble Fir ink pad to ink it up each turn. So simple!
Then I die cut the holly in white cardstock and colored it with Copics and the centers with sparkle red Nuvo drops.
I die cut the word JOYful from gold glitter card-stock and glued it flat to the card.
The white panel I stamped the wreath on is 4 ¼ inch square. I matted it with a dark green cardstock and then onto a 4 ¾ inch red glitter cardstock square. It will fit into an A7 envelope for sure, so no extra postage. The holly is glued in the center so the leaves still are up a little but they lay completely flat.
Now to try to incorporate the pine cone from the stamp set on to a wreath! 😀
I’m linking my card to some challenges…
