Hi everyone! I’m finally back with the giveaway I talked about! I made one card, then made another and then this one last night! So I’ll have two or three posts using this die I’m giving away! yay!
Here it is… the NEW Memory Box Sleigh Horse Frame Die.
For my card today, I mixed it up with some other MB/ps dies…hehe…you knew I would! I love how easy Dave makes it to do this though!
I threw in the landscape circle from the Memory Box Country Church Frame… I just love how it fit behind the sleigh and glues perfectly behind.
Then I die cut the poppystamps Tree Line Hill die in white (you need two cuts) and green cardstocks. I layered the white behind the green, then trimmed the trees off the 2nd white cut to have the snow covering the green. I took a picture so you’d be able to see what I mean. I wanted the green trees on top but I didn’t want the ground to be green.
I die cut the Sleigh Horse Frame die in white cardstock and colored the horse and sleigh with a black Copic Sketch marker.
I die cut the Memory Box Snowy Circle die in blue and glued it to a white card stock circle I cut with a Basic Circles Die set circle. Then glued that to the back of the scene pieces.
A little dimension you can see here…not too much! It will still mail easy enough. This is A2 size but I like to mail in an A6 size envelope so the corners of the card don’t get bent. I put a piece of that really thin packing stuff in too when I use any embellishments.
I lightly inked the edges of the kraft card base with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and a mini ink blending tool.
I glued the white square frame directly to the kraft card base.
I stamped the sentiment from the NEW Memory Box Typewriter Holiday Elements stamp set, in black archival ink, in the MISTI stamping tool.
Then I just had to add the greenery! It just adds the perfect festive touch! The holly sprig is from the Memory Box Elegant holly Double Frame die and the pine branch is from the poppystamps Shasta Twigs die. Three enamel dots and I’m so happy with this card!
NOW for the giveaway details! Cindy from Starlitstudio.net has so generously provided me with a NEW Memory Box Sleigh Horse Frame die to giveaway! Her fast and friendly service is awesome! She goes the extra mile with a smile! I love her store and you will too.
