Hi everyone! Bringing some faux snow your way today! White bits everywhere these days! lol
My first card I used both the NEW poppystamps Seed Snowflake dies…the outline is the big white flake…I cut and glued three together…
Timesaver Tip: I stacked the 3 together first, without glue, and poked the pieces out, all three at the same time!
Then I die cut the Seed Snowflake Collage die in a 110# Solar White card front panel and inked it with Tumbled Glass Oxide in the center and Evergreen Bough Oxide everywhere else. I love this combo!
I took this picture before assembling because I thought it’d help you see what I inked and where.
The card base is Tumbled Glass Oxide.
Here’s the card assembled…
ok – I finished it and thought, I should spray this with some Frost spray… I like the look of it when the card is in my hand but it sure was hard to get a picture of it! I spent 3 hours yesterday taking and retaking. Now that’s dedication or just stupid. sigh. So moral of the story, don’t spray it if you want to take pictures of it Pam. haha
I love this gorgeous snowflake die. I saw it made up as an ornament. I want to do that.
So I had so much fun inking I decided to make a CAS, clean and simple card. Nothing is clean and simple when I do it! hahahahaha
I mean, I can’t even decide what sentiment to use and what color to stamp the sentiment without deliberating for 30 minutes! lol I get today’s whiny baby award! lol
‘nother lesson…don’t spatter right after you’ve done water drops. The spatters hit the water drops and well, they spread! Oh well, I used it anyway…see…nothing’s simple! Go ahead and laugh cuz I am!
I do love Tumbled Glass Oxide…this is on 110# Solar White too. The sentiment from the NEW poppystamps Art Deco Celebrate Christmas stamp set stamped in the same Tumbled Glass Oxide ink. I wasn’t sure how it would stamp a sentiment but I am really happy with it. I did use the MISTI to stamp it.
I colored the snowflake with a Spectrum Noir Clear glitter pen. I really like how that made it sparkle! I tried to capture it…

My last card was inspired by the word ‘collage’ in the title of the Seed Snowflake Collage die…
I just got the NEW Memory Box That’s Acute stamp and die sets so I had to play! First I had to try it in a wreath building way and yes the stamp set works for that!
I soon decided I needed trees to go with the Seed Snowflake Collage panel that I’d inked up with Lucky Clover Oxide and Cracked Pistachio Oxide on 110# Solar White.
I already had the ‘peace’ word stamped and layered/glued up, since I didn’t use it on the first card, I loved it here! It’s from the NEW Memory Box Bold Christmas Greetings stamp and die sets. I love that it has dies to match! Oh so pretty! I love all the scripty words!
Then I decided it needed glitter paper behind and a glitter frame…use the piece from cutting the frame behind the collage.
After stamping and layering the trees where I wanted them…it just needed a bit of something! YES! a small snowflake hit the spot.
This is my week so far! It’s been really nice and I haven’t even been out to enjoy it…maybe today…I hear some stuff calling my name though! I need a stamp store to walk to! lol

These cards are just beautiful Pam!! I may have to have that snowflake!!! I haven’t gotten into the oxide’s yet-but they sure do look pretty! I can spend one whole evening making one card-so I feel your pain!!!
Hi Pam love your cards and the snow flake die, great job using oxide inks. You are like me when I make a new card I spend hours putting it together before I am satisfied with it. Christine
Beautiful cards, Pam. Winners!
Sooooo beautiful Pam!! That seed snowflake is one gorgeous die! Love all the cards, and especially love these colors – soft yet icy!!!!!
Oh these are gorgeous! I love the colors! I’m going to have to write down those color combinations! Thanks so much for sharing! 🙂
Wow Pam! Great job showing how versatile that wonderful snowflake die can be. Each of your cards shows it off in a different way. Love the tumbled glass oxide background. The simplicity of your white and blue card adds to its elegance. I wish photos would show the pretty shimmer you’ve added to the snowflake, but I can imagine. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
Oooh, fun playtime, fabulous results! You sound like me — nothing’s easy and, oh, the photographs. I’ve done that with the splatters, too. Just being in a hurry, sigh. Nevertheless, all three look beautiful on screen! Bet that spray looks magical IRL. I can see the shimmer and sparkle on the next two cards and I know that’s even more amazing IRL. Holding a card, turning it in the light or walking by as it’s sitting on a desk top… no still photo can capture that. Interesting how they call that a collage die, but clearly it’s very useful and significant in a collage. You just have to make one, and so you did! I love when you play with your toys, Pam!
Awesome cards, Pam! Love them both!
Pam, I adore your snowflake card, love that sponged background, it really makes the die cut pop. Thanks for joining us at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week. Tristan DT

Such pretty cards Pam! I was wondering, what’s the difference between the Seed Snowflake die and the Collage Seed Snowflake die? Thanks!
