You are looking at the NEW Dream Cloud die from Memory Box!  There’s a new happy cloud, birthday cloud and thanks cloud too!  I LOVE using the words by themselves too!  Cindy at Starlitstudio.net has them in stock!

The balloon stamp and die, sentiment and star stamps are from Lawn Fawn… link below in the supplies.

So here’s what I did…

1. cut an 8.5 x 11 pc. of card-stock in half,  score one half at 4.25.  Use the teflon bone folder to crease… LOVE the teflon bone folder (link below)…no glossy look where I rub after creasing!!!

2. cut the balloon out of the front of your card

3. cut the balloon out of red card-stock

4. cut the bottom of the balloon out of kraft card-stock

5. stamp the red and kraft pcs with the balloon stamp, then cut and piece them together

6. I used packing tape to cover behind the balloon cut out portion of the card front.  You want sticky in the opening to adhere your red and kraft balloon parts to it.   Go ahead and stick them in

7. Then position your dream cloud die face down to the right side of the card front over the stamped red balloon.

8. Tape the dream die in place with reposition-able tape, stick the tape to your clothes a couple times to make sure most of the sticky is removed.

9. Run it through the die cut machine.

10.  Keep the word dream because you will use that part

11.  Cut the dream cloud die from white card-stock, keeping the white centers of the letters.

12. Piece the die cuts into the card front and cover the back with packing tape to hold it in place or you can put the packing tape over the hole first and then piece in the cloud parts.

13. isn’t this fun?! : )

14. Stamp the little star from the balloon set multiple times with Tumbled Glass distress ink.

15. Stamp the sentiment from the set.

16. Back to the other half of the 8.5 x 11 piece of card-stock.  Cut it in half…well, a little less than half… 4 ⅛ in. x 5 ⅜ in.

17. Adhere that piece behind the card front to cover up the piecing and taping you did.

That’s it for this card!

Now for the Winter scene I told you I was working on… colored it last Monday morning and finished it Friday morning!  Where does the time go!  It goes by me way too fast!

The stamps I used for this card are from Serendipity Stamps…wonderful images to color and create cards with.

PamSparksSerendipityWinterPeaceScene

I stamped with Ranger Archival Black ink on Canson watercolor paper and watercolored with Ranger Distress markers.  Stardust Stickles to give the snowy, Winter sparkle.

Memory Box and Lawn Fawn…

PamSparksAutumn725

I love this Autumn Leaf Collage stamp from Memory Box.  I had to add a little burlap (she’s out of what I used but you could try this) after I spritzed it with Walnut ink from Tsukeniko.  I love how the rustic look still works with the straight lines of the Perfect Layers Tools.  I kept the mats smallish using the 1/16th in ruler for matting because I just wanted a hint of the dark brown to make the layers pop!   I stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored with Distress inks (fall colors) and the foam ink blending tools.  Messy looking but spraying with the Walnut ink helped me get used to the messy! lol

I matted with My Minds Eye 6×6 Happy Haunting paper pad and tied it up with hemp cord.

I scored and folded a piece of 8.5 x 11 Bazzill textured card-stock in half… glued the layers to this with ATG tape, measuring in ½ inch in on the fold side with my clear ruler… then cutting the margins with the ½ inch Perfect Layers ruler.

Oh, I did rough up the edges of the dark brown coredinations card-stock with the Tim Holtz  Sanding Grip.

PamSparksAutumnSide700

The leaf is from a Lawn Fawn Leaves die set.  I inked it good with Distress ink and the ink blending tool too! : )   Happy Autumn!

Magnolia, Tilda’s Town Challenge…

PamSparksCoolEdwin700

Time for Tilda’s Town’s weekly challenge…this week…’use a Magnolia background stamp’.   I used Tilda’s Summer Car with Cool Edwin from the Sweet Rainbow Collection and colored with Distress Ink Marker watercoloring. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the You Are Special collection.

PamSparksCoolEdwin2_700

I used the Deconstructed Sketch #101 and will link to it, but my image was too big to cut into a circle.  I love fishtails but I didn’t have enough room, so I used an old Quickutz arrow die to mimic them and thought that went with the car.  It was definitely my inspiration but I did have to change it up to work for my image!

I’m linking to Midweek Magnolias Challenge … Birthday is the theme.

Perfect Paper Crafting and Lawn Fawn Blog Hop…

LawnFawnHop

I’m so excited to welcome you to another blog hop!  The ladies have wonderful posts to share and I’m so happy to be part of the line up!  I LOVE Perfect Layer Tools and pairing them up with Lawn Fawn…well… you’ll see below,  I had fun cuz I LOVE Lawn Fawn too! I made so many cards, I don’t know which one to start with!

_MG_7499-001

ok – I’ll start with the ‘faux’ polaroid shot! For this card I used the Home Sweet Home stamp set, Home Sweet Home die set, Say Cheese stamp set, Say Cheese die set and the Pink Lemondade 6×6 paper pad.  I used the 1/16th inch Perfect Layers Ruler to mat the floral piece.  Then to mat the floral matted piece to the shell piece,  I used the 1/4th inch and 3/4 inch Perfect Layers Ruler.  I used the 1/8 inch Perfect Layers Ruler to mat behind the shell pattern, which is the card base.  I measure the top with a clear ruler and then cut the three sides with the Perfect Layers Ruler.

_MG_7496

A friend of mine has been making all kinds of postcard cards lately… this card was inspired by Jan!  Thank you Jan!  I started with the You’ve Got Mail stamp set, the jar is cut out of a sheet of the Pink Lemonade 6×6 paper pad, the greenery is from the Blissful Botanicals stamp set  and Blissful Botanicals die set.  I used the 1/16th inch Perfect Layers Ruler to mat behind the pink and orange piece.  Copic Sketch markers to add some shading here and there.  I have to say the Lawn Fawn dies cut the stamped images so easily!  I didn’t use tape at all!

_MG_7483

I just had to color a few images!  Love this cute little pooch and tree! So fun to color!  I used Critters in the Burbs stamp set and the Pink Lemonade 6×6 paper pad.   The black layer is from the 1/16th inch Perfect Layers Ruler,  the next green layer is with the 3/8th inch Perfect Layers Ruler,  the yellow is 1/16th,  the plaid is 1/2 and the base is 1/4th inch.  I used the Lawn Fawn Trimmings cord on the fold.

_MG_7463

This card makes me smile! I’ve always enjoyed riding my bike.  I used the Cruising Through Life stamp set, Sunny Skies stamp set and the Pink Lemonade 6×6 paper pad.   For the layers I started with the Perfect Layers Ruler  1/8th inch, 1/16th inch, 3/16th inch and last for the card base is 1/8th inch.  I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.  The circle on the sun is paper pieces with the yellow dot from the paper pad.

_MG_7485-001

This is kind of a silly card but I had fun with it! Hope it brings a smile!   The Dad’s Day stamp set,  the Bannerific stamp set, the Bannerific die set, the Pink Lemonade 6×6 paper pad and Riley’s ABC’s for the words, I, You and to.  The arm chair is a solid stamp, inked with Walnut Stain Distress ink and stamped on the plaid from the paper pad.  I made the little doily on the back of the arm chair with the stitched heart stamp from the Home Sweet Home stamp set.  I stamped it three times and then cut it to fit.  I used two Stampin Up oval punches for the rug under the arm chair. For the layers I started with the Perfect Layers Ruler 5/16th for the top and two sides and 1 inch at the bottom. Then the black layer is the 1/16th inch and the card base is 1/8th inch.

Below is the list for the HOP… visit the blogs and comment for a chance to WIN!

Lawn Fawn – Snowman…

I’ve been wanting to use my Lawn Fawn stamps and earlier this week when a couple of our granddaughters and their friend were over, we played with them!   So fun!

Of course my snowman had to be holding a heart! (MS border punch)   I used a Magnolia DooHickeys tree die and limeade twine.

I stamped on Hammermill 80# color copy cover paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers.  I used my Perfect Paper Layers Tools to matt the image and MFT Die-namics cloud dies for the snow!   The greens are Forest green , Apple Cider and Pear green.   The blues are Twilight Sky and Midnight Blue.  I used Flexmarkers for the grays… Blue Grey 1, 2, 3, 4.   Can’t remember the browns on the birdie.  The orange is pumpkin.

I’m linking up to the Lawnscaping Challenge and the theme is “Dust ’em off”!  woohoo!  My card made the Top Mows!
