Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Blog Party!

Hi everyone!  I have some cards to post using the NEW for STAMPtember sentiment set called ‘Extra Talkative’.  So many sentiments in the set I ended up with five cards!  This is a big set with dies to match but I didn’t get the dies to use.  You’ll see how beautifully they ink up and stamp!

Here’s my first card…

I made three Mini Slimline cards and two A2 size cards…

What great words of encouragement!  Everyone can use that now and then!  I’m sending this one to myself! lol

Besides the Extra Talkative set I used two new sets from Memory Box.  Leafy Branch Oval and Fanciful Fall Leaves.

Next up…

How cute is this ‘Hi.’! So cute!  I cut some strips with a Waffleflower die, stamped four sentiments from the set on each strip with matching ink. ATG to the card…thin mounting tape to mount the HI circle.

Next…

Another CAS card.  Here I used a Gina K Designs die set, Botanical Duo.  I cut it in white and inked it with regular Distress Inks and ink blending brushes.  Scrap paper to protect each part from the other color.

I stamped the sentiment in the MISTI…taped on another one of those strips, I cut too many, tied on the thin Mayarts twine and it was done!

Now for the two A2 size cards…

Brayering Kaleidacolor ink pad colors onto Hammermill Color Copy 100# cardstock.  I love how this cardstock keeps the color vibrant!

The Botanical Duo die in Glossy Black cardstock and two sentiments from the set again.

Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Rectangles die for the brayered white panel.

Next…

More encouragement from this card! These sentiments stamped so beautifully.  I used Ranger Archival Black ink.  It’s my favorite for stamping black sentiments.  I used the MISTI also.

I added a few black enamel dots on the berries… just enough to make it a little ‘extra’!

Just reading these cards is helping put the smile back on my face today!  Hope it’s an encouragement to you also!

Here’s a special code from SSS for an ‘extra’ to put a smile on your face today too! I’ll list the clickable links to the other products I used at the bottom of this post… Have fun shopping and if you click to another blog but want to shop through my links, just come back and click through one of my links again and it will track to me.  You know I appreciate it and wish I knew who to send thank yous too!

Have a wonderful extended weekend!  We always try to get something done around the house cuz…it’s Labor Day. ha! lol

Thank you so much for visiting my blog…talk to you again soon!

Memory Box NEW Halloween/Fall Release!

BOO! aka Hello! Time to get inky for Fall!  Sharing three projects I made with the NEW Memory Box release!

I’ll start with this cute BOO to YOU!  The Fancy Gate Globe is NEW.  I paired it with the Snowglobe Backer die to make this hanging or it stands too, tag.

The ghosts are from the NEW Ghosts in the Forest die set and the sentiment is the NEW Boo Posh Script!  So cute!

I inked a background piece I cut with the Nested Globes die set and inked with purple inks and an ink blending brush. (it’s a brighter purple IRL)

This was a quick tag to make!

Linking my tag to the Everybody Art Challenge – Tag

Next up is an A2 size card I made with the NEW Ghosts in the Forest die set.

I die cut the scene out of Memory Box’s black glossy cardstock and the ghosts out of white glossy cardstock.  I love how it looks IRL.

I inked an A2 size panel for the back with oranges and purples and spattered water, white paint and black paint on to it.

I added the NEW Rickety House die cut in the same glossy black cardstock.  For the windows, I die cut the house in white and left the windows in the cut, colored them with a Copic yellow marker, then glued the white to the back of the black house.

I used the NEW Happy Halloween Posh Script die for the sentiment.  Die cut in black glossy and an orange from my scraps.

Not really spooky but sure is cute!

Next up is the NEW Creepy Cabin die!  This one is really CAS and probably took me the longest because I couldn’t decide whether to color it or not! lol  In the end, leaving it white won out.

It’s not so creepy anyway! haha

I inked a purple-ish background, cut everything in white.

I used the Wooded Glen Collage die from a previous release for the top layer.  Then a few pumpkins I got inky from the Pile of Pumpkins die.  The stems I colored with a Copic marker.

Layered them up with that thin thin foam mounting tape I like.

Oh, I stamped Hello from the Halloween Pumpkin clear stamp set from a previous release.

This card is 5 ½ inches square. A nice size… I like it!

I’ll link everything below.

And thank you so much for clicking over.  I’ll be back…so much I want to make!

Birch Press Design Herbarium Plate and Adornment Dove Card…

I’m back!  I didn’t put the glitter cardstock pads away!

Another die cut and glue fast and easy card you could mass produce!

Using the NEW Birch Press Design Herbarium plate Layer A and NEW Adornment Dove dies!

I die cut layer A in the blue green and green.  I had to shim the blue green layer with a folded piece of copy paper to completely cut it (the glitter cardstock is thick) so I knew when I ran the green piece through, it wouldn’t completely cut out the design.  When you layer the green under the blue green it really adds to the depth if it has the design partially cut into it.  I should’ve taken a picture!  I hope that makes sense!

I added two strips of 2 inch scor-tape on the back of the green layer to make sure all the pieces stayed in it and then I just used that to adhere it to a white A2 cardbase.

I glued the blue green layer over the green layer with Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue.

I die cut the solid backer Adornment Dove die in the champagne-ish color glitter cardstock and the outline Adornment Dove in white glitter cardstock.

I LOVE that there’s a backer die for this dove!

Die cut the berries with scraps of red glitter cardstock… there are only three sets of berries, so easy to glue in if you put small pieces scro-tape on the back of the blue green layer before adhering it to the green layer.

Die cut the Peace Honey Script die from red and white glitter cardstock and glue it on.  I used small pieces of mounting tape on the leg of the ‘p’ and behind the ‘c’.

Easy! yay!  Another card done…almost… I didn’t stamp the inside yet!  I’ll be sorry later! haha

Thank you for stopping by to see this.  It’s so pretty IRL.  I wish I was a professional photographer that could capture the true glitter and sparkly of this cardstock!

I’m thinking this dove could be made into an ornament and even layered on a gift loosely with a tag!  So pretty!

Birch Press Design Christmas Ornament Pop Up Easel Card…

Hi everyone! Welcome to my attempt to show how glittery amazing this glitter cardstock from Memory Box is and how fun to use it with this new BPD release!  I’m sitting here looking at the real card wishing I could just show it to you IRL because it is so sparkly and pretty!!!

This was a fast card to make…all die cutting and so easy with a pad of 6×6 glitter cardstock!

Here it is from the side.  I die cut a white cardstock base with the easel die in the set, then I die cut from the glitter paper and glued it to the white card die cut.  Because of the 6 x 6 size of the glitter cardstock, I had to make it in two pieces.  It worked fine, you really can’t tell it.

I’m going to say it again… it was so easy to make! lol  Cut and glue!  This would be a great card for a class or a cardmaker get together!

I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the BPD Christmas Ornament and Labels stamp and die set but I couldn’t decide if I wanted on the card for the pictures!  So it’s laying off to the side.  I will glue it on when I send it.

So pretty too… just glam it up!

It could easy be made into an ornament to hang on the tree or a gift tag!

It folds up so nice and will easily fit in an A2 envelope and mail for one postage stamp.

I added a Memory Box Christmas Fairy Drop in red on the bow.  Boom!  Done!  Taking pictures, trying to capture glitter cardstock took longer!

***Bonus – None of this glitter comes off!!!  Thank you Memory Box! lol

Thank you for visiting today!

Time for a NEW release from Simon Says Stamp…. Dream Big!

Hi everyone!  Bringing you everything ‘dreamy’ with this release in Summery July!  Check it all out HERE

I received the Tropical Leaf Bunch die to play with.  It’s from Simon Says Stamp but designed by Memory Box!  I love it when I get the designs by MB!

You deserve a break but I don’t mean at Mc Donalds! lol   I’m not a beach person but I’ve probably not been at the right beach to appreciate it!

Here I kept it very CAS (clean and simple).

I die cut a rectangle out of copy paper so I could ink blend an area centerish on the front of my A2 size cardbase.

I blended oxide inks with my blue and brown brushes without putting on more ink because I wanted it very light.

Then I did some splattering with Prize Ribbon and Ground Espresso Distress inks and then a little white acrylic after the ink splatters were dry.

I die cut three of the Tropical Leaf Bunch, glued them together and then directly to the cardbase.

The beach chair is from last months SSS release.  I stamped it and fussy cut it by hand, colored it with Copics and glued it directly to the cardbase. Details about this set in my post HERE

Then I stamped the sentiment from the beach stamp set and added Memory Box Fairy Jewels from the Pastel set.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!  Hope you enjoy the new release and here’s the

code for $5 off through 8/15…  5BUCKS
