Simon Says Stamp Luck and Hugs Cards…

Hi everyone!  Simon Says Stamp sent me this stamp set to play with for their newest release ‘Sunny Days Ahead’!  I’m behind but working on catching up! I made two cards to share so be sure to scroll down for the second… 🙂

This set has a ton of images and sentiments! I stamped several in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, die cut them out and colored them with Copic Sketch Markers.

I used a landscape A2 size white cardbase and stamped one of the border images directly on the base using the MISTI.

After coloring, using Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue, I adhered the flowers directly to the cardbase.  HUGS is adhered with foam mounting tape overlapping a little bit of the flowers.

A card to cheer I hope!

Next card will be a congrats graduation card…

I went clean and simple here…you know I love this style! hehe  I stamped and gold heat embossed good luck from the set, then die cut, popped it up with black mounting squares on a Taylored Expressions Oreo cardstock A2 size cardbase.  I stamped the little sentiment on white cardstock, trimmed it and layered it over the top with mounting foam on the left end and liquid glue on the right end.

This could work for so many occasions!  Such a fun set…some of the other sentiments… “Can’t wait to see you soar”, “You’re going to be Amazing”, “You’re going to rock this” and so many more!

I used Ranger Detail Gold embossing powder or maybe it’s called super fine.

Thank you so much for clicking over to see my post today!  A new release is coming soon so be watching!

My Favorite Things All Star High Top Birthday Card…

Hi everyone!  Still catching up with birthday cards!  This one was for our granddaughter Lilli!  I couldn’t make it exactly like her shoes but I caught one of the patterns anyway!  So cute!

Then the sweet daisies from Memory Box. Die cut in white and colored with Copics.

The paper I used for the shoes is an old pattern… really dates me… I think it was the first pattern paper company, Paper Patch…1995 ish!  lol

Happy Birthday is from a Taylored Expressions Bold Brushstrokes stamp set that I use a lot for the teen ages.  On the inside it says ‘you are totally awesome’ from the same set.

The detail in the High Top die is wonderful!  The eyelets look real!  So glad they brought this die back.  I was able to snag an old set but now everyone can get it!

Thanks for clicking over today!  Hope you enjoyed this cute card!

Memory Box Small Cosmos and Jovial Wreath CAS Card…

Hi everyone!  A clean and simple card to share with you today with a wish for you to enjoy your day!

I almost got away with a completely die cut card. There is something about stamping a sentiment simply in black though! ❤

I die cut three of the Jovial Wreath in TE Granny Smith cardstock and glued them together with Tombow Mono Multi glue.  I die cut two of the Small Cosmos, popped the pieces out of the top one but left them in the bottom one and added just a touch of coloring!  I only glued them together around the very center and then glued the flower to the wreath and the wreath to the die cut in TE Confetti Cake and sentiment stamped panel using one of the sentiments from the Birthday Blowout stamp set.

I used mounting tape to adhere the panel to the A2 TE Toffee cardbase.  I make my cardbases top folding because it’s easier to take pictures of them. Book fold cards are so nice and traditional though.  I miss that sometimes!  😀

I imagine a lot of you already have flowers in your yards.  Our temps are still too low in Iowa but it won’t be long!  In the meantime, I’ll enjoy my day and my paper flowers!

I don’t have any of the new Memory Box/poppystamps release but Cindy @starlitstudio.net has all the NEW stuff and is shipping like normal!  YAY!  Simon Says Stamp has the new also but shipping is slower right now. Links below…

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, Anything Goes with Gina K Designs…

Hi everyone!  It’s that time of the week!  This is my last post as a guest for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge this month.  Whew, this year is whizzing by!

This week, we’re using Gina K Designs and the theme is ‘anything goes’!

I stamped Gina K Designs Massive Peony Stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. I die cut before I colored with the coordinating die.  I also die cut two pieces to glue my colored floral piece to for depth, instead of foam mounting squares or tape.

The background panel is cut 4 x 5.25 inches and randomly stamped with Simon Says Stamp Damask Background stamp and Antique Linen Distress Ink.   I was going for a vintage look.

The sentiment is from the same floral set, heat embossed with Ranger Detail Gold embossing powder on vellum, trimmed and wrapped around the damask stamped background panel.

I adhered to an A2 size metallic gold panel and then to an A2 size cardbase.

I hope you’ll be able to join us and link up your creation for this week’s challenge ‘anything goes’!  We’d love to see Gina K but you can use anything.

The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the  Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this weeks prompt and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of the challenge blog post! You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Memory Box Single Daisy Stem Card…

Happy Friday everyone! A CAS die cut card to share today.  Our area stamp club meets this afternoon and I have the program.  This is one of the two cards I’ll have them make.

The Single Stem Daisy comes with a backer die for the flower.  I die cut it in TE Lollipop cardstock, put the cut into the full flower die and embossed it with a stylus.

Then I inked the flower head with TE Strawberry Milkshake ink and a little make up brush.

I die cut the complete flower in TE Granny Smith cardstock and inked it with TE Granny Smith ink and a little make up brush.

I glued the layers together. You might want to clip off some of the green flower bottom layer if it shows.

I popped up the flower head with mounting foam tape just in the center.

I stamped the panel with a sentiment from a poppystamps sentiment set, links below.

A little Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink on the background panel.  Some jute and it’s done…A2 size!

I changed the wrap up this time and wrapped an A2 size stitched panel die cut in TE Toffee cardstock. Then I just made the bow separate and glued it on the stem.  I used mounting tape to adhere the white panel to the Toffee panel because of the jute.  I didn’t want a hump!  😀

Thanks for stopping by today!  I love the message on this card…a good thing to remember everyday!  ❤
