Hi everyone! I have a new Memory Box stamp and die set card to share today… just because. Isn’t that a pretty script? It’s hard to believe it’s Memorial Day weekend. It looks like it’ll warm up here but still cloudy. We’re getting anxious for some sunshine! I guess the sunshine today is this bright Picked Raspberry Distress Ink color that I painted with!
I stamped the new wreath on watercolor paper with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Ranger Gold Embossing powder. I die cut with the coordinating die, then I watercolored with regular Distress Ink pad refills. I just put a drop of the refill on my craft mat and pick it up with a wet paintbrush. I did put water on the paper first so it was wet on wet.
I used Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade, Peeled paint, Peacock Feathers and a little bit of Mowed Lawn ink refills for coloring the wreath.
I die cut white cardstock twice and used that to layer the wreath for a little depth instead of foam mounting tape.
I used Taylored Expressions Confetti Cake cardstock for the background square adhered to a white top fold cardbase. My card is 5 ½ inches square.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have some peonies in your life. I’m glad I had these to color!
Here’s what I used…

This is stunning, Pam! The watercoloring is perfect, and I love that you mount with multiple die cuts…such a beautiful, professional, and clean look! Love it – one of my favorites!
Beautiful card, like the gold embossing with your lovely watercoloring!
Gorgeous coloring!!
Wow Pam!! That is just gorgeous!! Such pretty colors you used to watercolor with and your watercoloring is beautiful! Yes, love that script too!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your peony card. You used the perfect colors to color those beautiful peonies. I just love everything about your card.
Beautiful card. The gold embossing sets the card off.
Beautiful peonies, and that script is oh so gorgeous!
Pam this is such an incredible piece of art!!! Loving how you created the depth – going to try that – absolutely brilliant idea for this stamp/die set!!!!
Oh, stop! You know how much I love this! Wow! It’s a beautiful stamp, but also your watercoloring and the gold embossing. Love having matching dies for something like this. What an exquisite card. So beautiful I can hardly stand it!
What a pretty card! I have never watercolored with distress inks. I keep saying I’m going to try it but haven’t jumped in yet. This makes me want to give it a try! Thanks for sharing!
