Memory Box Twiggy Alphabet Tags…

Good morning!  The weather outside was frightful yesterday! lol  I didn’t blow away so I’ve got some tags to share!

I LOVE this new alphabet die set from Memory Box…here I used the main letters, die cut in the tag and inlaid the white die letters in the tag then.  I used scor-tape on the back of the tag to hold them in and another tag so the back looks nice.

I used Sizzix Sticky Sheet Grid to line up the dies for die cutting.

Here’s what they look like if you use both the main letter and the backer piece.

I had fun!  I wanted to make the light bulbs more colorful but I made them to match the wrapping paper I have.

I had to paint the beads but it wasn’t a big deal… I used skewers and toothpicks! Acrylic paint dries fast.

Lawn Fawn’s light bulb die set worked perfect for me.

So fun!  I love doing stuff like this!

I used Taylored Expressions cardstocks…

Hemp twine to tie on the beads… black eyelets in the holes.

I glued the electrical wire on and used mounting tape to mount the bulbs.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you’re having fun making too… it’s down to the wire!  Tomorrow is the homeschool Christmas party my granddaughters and I are doing tag make and takes for.  We have six different tags ready…25 of each.  Probably too many. lol  Fun! Fun!

ttul!

Memory Box Layered Poinsettia and Pinpoint Daisy Background Card…

Hi everyone!  I’ve been a little MIA but rest assured I’ve been ‘elfing’! hohoho!  The granddaughters and I are doing make n takes for the home education group Christmas party here next Friday.  Of course we couldn’t just do one thing! ha!  Good for grandma’s heart to spend time with the grands!  Sometimes you need a good excuse! lol

So this morning I made a card!  Checking to see if I still remembered how!

I hadn’t used this Pinpoint Daisy Background yet so I had to play with it a minute.  First thing I did was run it through the machine with a piece of red foil to see if it would transfer!  It did!  I didn’t use it though because I didn’t use a full sheet of red foil. lol  Then I couldn’t decide if it would work with this card so I went with white.

I love this new Layered Poinsettia die so I used it again.

This card went together pretty quick compared to some I make.

Taylored Expressions cardstock in Cherry Pop, Cilantro and Poblano Pepper.  Metallic gold for the sentiment.

The gold pearls are from Starlitstudio… love these pearls!  So easy to apply with the mini Nuvo Embellishment tool!

This ended up a little larger than an A2 size because I didn’t cut down the Pinpoint background cut.  It will fit easy in an A7 envelope and travel on one postage stamp.

Thank you for stopping by today! Season’s Greetings to you and happy last minute cardmaking!  eek!  ❤

poppystamps Whittle Friendly Snowman and Double Joy Card…

Hi everyone!  I’m so happy with this card!  I probably could’ve added more and tried to bling it up but this time I just left him to say JOY to the world! ❤

This is a new poppystamps snowman die… so whimsical and fun!  Oh you know a little holly might’ve been nice… I always think of things after! lol

I put him on a bed of snow from the new poppystamps Layered House Globe die set.

He just melts your heart, doesn’t he?! ❤  Oh…a heart on his belly to represent the O for joy would’ve been super fun too!

I used a plaid paper from last Winter’s 6×6 plaid paper pad called Christmas Plaid!  I’m not finding it to link to anymore but I’ll link to this year’s pad that would work too! ugh.  Sorry about that.  I don’t know why I grabbed this one instead of the new one.

I die cut him from heavy white cardstock and colored his parts with Copic Sketch Markers.  I backed the circles with a smaller punch circle so I would have something to glue his eyes and carrot too.  Then I used mounting tape behind his top part, mounting tape behind the snow hill and mounting tape behind the top parts of the letters J and Y.

I die cut the plaid with the largest Memory Box Stitched Square Layers die. Then I matted it with black cardstock and adhered them to a 5 ½ x 5 ½ piece of green from the Memory Box 6×6  Lush Green cardstock pad. It matches perfectly with this plaid! yay!

‘To The World’ sentiment is from the new Memory Box Festive Christmas Greetings again… this is such a good set!

I love this new poppystamps Double Joy die too… you get so many options with the two dies included in the set!

Mr. Frosty is 5 ½ in. x 5 ½ in. square. So cute!  I need to make some more of these and vary them a little as I go! hehe

Thank you so much for stopping by and your comments and for shopping through my links!  I appreciate it!

poppystamps Cabin Snowglobe Pop Up Easel Card…

Hi everyone!  I’m so in love with this set!  I copied and made it like the photo on the package! lol  I was making it for card kits so I just copied to skip the design process… Thank you Dave/poppystamps for designing and inspiring our cardmaking! ❤

So much potential though, for beautiful Winter cards!  I know I”ll have to make it again and again with other dies too!  I can see a snowman in the picture, can’t you? a sleigh? laughing all the way… brrrr lol

I have a lot of pictures because my camera does better on an overcast day…or maybe it’s me that does better on an overcast day! haha

On the back of the packaging are pictures of how it goes together.  I’ve made a lot of easel cards but I still have to look to remember how these go together.  Very easy.

I love being able to display cards.  I use mine for decorating the mantel until I have to mail them!

The Warmest Wishes sentiment is from Memory Box Festive Christmas Greetings clear stamp set.  So many good sentiment sets anymore from Memory Box and poppystamps…I love it when I can match the front with the inside!

The easel will lay down flat and then into an A2 envelope!  So nice!  I’m sitting here looking at it wishing I could show you IRL! lol

So festive and beautiful!  I love making for Christmas! I hope you’re inspired!  Have a good week and I’ll talk to you later!

Simon Says Stamp Handmade Holiday Release…

A snowy hello to you today!  Simon Says Stamp sent me one of their new embossing folders, Snowy Path, to play with for this release.

I hadn’t use the new poppystamps Snowman and Trees die set yet so I thought it would be perfect in this shimmery snowy scene.

oh dear… it just dawned on me that I colored the path as if it was ice! lol  Oh well, you can see it can be a path or a stream!  A Winter Wonderland!

I inked everything with Blender Brushes and Distress Oxide Inks. The carrot nose is a Copic Sketch Orange Marker.

I spritzed with some Frost and Sparkle sprays and Winter Blizzard glitter glue.

A sweet, super shimmery, Winter scene A2 size card.

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Inside Christmas Greetings clear set and stamped in Ranger black archival ink.

There are several new embossing folders in this release and stencils and stamps and dies… festive and beautiful!

Thank you for stopping by today!  I’m working on some other cards and hope to show another one on Saturday!   See you again soon!
