Welcome to my paper house home today! See all the sparkly Christmas trees on display!
I had so much fun creating this home with this new poppy die set, Winter Porch Pop Up Easel Set!
Just die cut all the pieces in the colors you want and layer them up. I used mounting tape for the top layer because I wanted the trees behind the windows. The trees are the new poppy Evergreen Trio die cut in glitter cardstock.
I used the new poppy Snowy Merry Christmas cut in Green cardstock and embossed the snow with white powder. I used a Versamark pen to get the powder to stick to the snow. The door knob is a tiny brad but it could be a small enamel dot, gem or make your own with black Nuvo drops.
This is one time I liked the embossing powder static! lol I melted the first time, then while it was hot, stuck it back in the powder for a second and third time to get a deeper snow pile.
The card folds down to fit in an envelope. It is A2 size but I will use a larger size envelope to mail and have it hand cancelled.
The card folded up but standing for the photo.
Did you notice the new Memory Box Vintage Sled die? Pretty cool… separate die to cut the slats and steering wood!
For the porch and sled holly and berries, I used the clipped ends of die cuts from the Memory Box Holly Double Arch die set. Fairy Sugar on the roof snow.
Here it is flat, ready to go in the envelope. Oh, the snow on the bottom of the siding is from the snow die in the Winter House Pop Up Easel Set. I used the roof line and trimmed it down.
I wish I could run across the street and show you this card in real life! Something the receiver will treasure I’m sure. I know I would if someone sent it to me! So have fun making these and sharing your love of papercrafting!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Holler if you have any questions and share your cards with me too!
Here’s what I used to make this Easel card…
