I black embossed the condos, inked with Distress inks, Weathered Wood, Chipped Sapphire and Dusty Concord on Canson 90# coldpress Watercolor paper.  Spattered with Copic white opaque ink and Black H2O watercolor paint.

The Fresh Wrap guy is stamped on Hammermill Color Copy Cover with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Sketch markers, the T series and a little purple V15 I think it was.

Glossy Accents on the eyes and condo windows.

A silly wrap job! hahahaha

Taylored Expressions October Release Day!

PamSparksDoorToDoorDecorWinterThurs

Welcome to my post for Taylored Expressions October Release day! Open the door and come on in! Last month brought us the Door to Door die set and Door to Door Décor. This month we get the accessory set, Door to Door Winter Décor! YAY! So…let it snow!

PamSparksDoorToDoorDecorWinterCloseThurs

The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the awesome New In and Out Christmas stamp set.  My weakness is sentiments…ok, maybe I have more than one weakness. lol

I used the Bead Board embossing folder to make the card front look like siding and embellished with the new Little Bits Snowflake Confetti dies.  I hope you’ll come in out of the cold!  : )

My next card is the moose image from the New Critters on Ice stamp set with matching dies…

PamSparksCrittersOnIce3

SO cute!  I love critters with personality!  So fun to color too! I die cut the pieces in white card-stock and colored them with Copic Sketch markers.

The frame is the New Picture Perfect Horizontal die… love it! Then the trees and lake are from two new Build a Scene die sets… Winter Trees and Central Park. Oh.what.fun!

PamSparksCrittersOnIce3Close

I used some Stampendous Frantage Chunky Enamel embossing powder on the lake… snow!  Ranger White Enamel Accents on the tree.

I tore a piece of copy paper and using the ink blending tool, sponged on Tumbled Glass Distress ink for the horizon line.

Taylored Expressions Birthday month…

PamSparksTEb-dayBunny

oh wow!  It’s been too long since I posted! Hard to believe September is half gone!  boohoo!  I’ve missed you all! lol  I’m working on cards for a Christmas Memory Box Look Book, our stamp club had a shoebox card party and then we had a family birthday party!  Eek… it’s a lot of card making going on!

Here’s one of the cards I made for our grandson Gilbert.  He’ll be turning three next week. Time goes by so fast.  We still have three grandsons younger though. lol  We’ve got boys!

Here’s a close up of this cute bunny and his birthday balloon…

Taylored Expressions Wild About You and On The Line…

PamSparksWildAboutYouJune

Wow!  We survived 91˚ weather to watch our 5 yr. old grandson’s baseball game last night!  These Summer temps always bring to mind my growing up days and going to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha every Summer.  Seems like the family always picked the hottest day of the year to go! lol

This card brings up all those Zoo days.  Nowadays I prefer the Des Moines zoo.  You can get through it in an hour or so!

PamSparksWildAboutYouCloseJune

This cute little swinger is in the new TE Wild About You stamp set.  Color with Copics and stamp a sentiment and you’ve got a quick card.  There is a coordinating die set for it also.

PamSparksOnTheLineBikeJune

The other thing I did growing up in Council Bluffs/Omaha with lots of sidewalks is bike riding! Sometimes I wonder when we stopped playing and ate lunch and supper! lol

I cut the bike in silver paper, colored it with a permanent black pen and layered it on a couple other cuts before I glued it to the scene.

PamSparksOnTheLineBikeClose

I love the new On The Line die set… the squirrel is from the new On The Line Accessories set.  So cute!  The leaves on the tree are supposed to cut when you run it through but instead of cutting them for this card, I embossed them with the die.  😀   I inked the die with Peeled Paint Distress ink, placed the tree top cut back in the die and ran it through with a tan mat.

To get the hill… I used the clothesline part of the tie.  I die cut the line in dark brown and in green.  I used the waste from the green cut and placed the brown line on top of it.  I thought it made an awesome sidewalk!

The ‘thanks’ die cut is one that you get when you order from Taylored Expressions.  Every time you order you receive a complementary die, thanking you for ordering!  Isn’t that awesome?!  I think so!  I love getting something that I love free! : )   The free die varies every time, you don’t know what you’ll get.

Thanks for stopping by today! Holler if you have any questions.  Links to the products I used from the TE store below…
