Pure Innocence Spring Friends and Rubiks cube birthday cards…

Family birthday time again…we had our party at the area lake yesterday afternoon for 4 family members.  Two of the cards I’ve already posted so here’s the other two!

I love this sweet Pure Innocence Spring Friend stamp set and die set from MFT stamps. It was perfect for our granddaughter Anya’s 12th birthday!

I used sentiments from Taylored Expressions Free Spirit stamp set, inked with TE Oreo ink pad and the MISTI stamping tool.

She’s colored with Copic Sketch markers and die cut with the coordinating die set also from MFT stamps. I stamped her with the MISTI and Oreo ink too.

I mounted the images on an A2 Top fold card base.

Next up is the card I made for our grandson Lane’s 15th birthday. A handsome guy that loves to do Rubiks cube and is very fast at it.  His fastest time is 20 seconds! Amazing!

I used the Memory Box Modern Tile die to get my cubes, die cutting from  black and trimming out the 9 squares to make the cubes. Then I die cut it 5 times with multiple colors.  I just cut squares of card-stock so I only cut the required number of squares.

The sentiment on the front and message (you’re awesome) on the inside are from the Taylored Expressions Bold Brushstrokes stamp set.  A perfect set for teens!  Stamped with the MISTI and TE Oreo stamp pad again…love the bold black image you can get with multiple inking and stamping.  YAY MISTI!

Memory Box, Lawn Fawn and Stampin Up cards…

Hi everyone!  I’m back today with 3 cards to share.  This first one features a sky writin’ airplane from the Flying High Stamp set!  So cute…colored it with Copic Sketch markers. The clouds are from the coordinating Flying High die set. I just used the cloud dies from the set without stamping them.

The background is the new Cool Cloud Collage die.  So many ‘cool’ ways to use it!

The banners are the new Birthday Pennant die…I die cut in white card-stock and colored with a few of the T series Copic Sketch markers.

Sweet Stampin’ Challenge – I wish I could fly (airplane is stamped and colored)

Next up is a scene that I started when these stamps came out…I just ‘unearthed’ it on one of my desks I was cleaning off.  It just needed colored and put together!  yay

I fell in love with this You Make Life Fun stamp set and coordinating die set. The grass is inked with Peeled Paint Distress ink and the ink blending tool and the sky is inked with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress ink and the ink blending tool. (I must’ve used another green ink on the grass too because Peeled Paint is a better green than this. lol  Next time I’ll use Mowed Lawn!)

I colored the images with Copic Sketch Markers… so easy and fun… click on the pictures to see it full size.  This card fits in a business size A10 envelope.

I love these cute new cloud dies!  I stamped the sentiment on the front with Lawn Fawn Walnut ink in the MISTI stamping tool.

The next card is one that my friend Jan had us make at stamp club earlier this month.  Pretty sure the stamps and papers are from Stampin Up. She had us paper piece the fun image.

We had several visitors at our club meeting this month!  It was so fun!  One of them was one of the gals that comments here on my blog!  We have chatted a time or two and ended up she lives in IA so she drove an hour and 45 minutes to join us!  It was so fun to meet you Louise!!!  I enjoyed stamping and visiting with you so much! (what a crazy day for the AC to not work at the library where we meet!)  Everyone was a good sport about it and fortunately they were able to provide us with two fans!  There always has to be drama you know! lol  Anyway, we’re trying to get Louise to start a blog cuz her cards are beautiful!

Thank you again Jan for the fabulous program!  We appreciated it!

That’s it for today!  Thank you so much for stopping by and reading my post! I always smile thinking of you all and wishing we could all meet for a stamp club!  Now that would be awesome! (wild! lol)

I always love hearing from you!

Memory Box Watching the World Bloom Wreath…

Hi friends! I see so many photos and read so many posts/threads here and there right now, of all the excitement of new life that Spring brings, the blessing of why we have Easter which brings me to why I love this card!

Happiness is watching the world bloom around us!

I colored the wreath with some quick, basic Copic coloring…die cut the wreath, from the coordinating die set, in a square rectangle layers panel. I mounted it with foam tape so there would be a fair amount of dimension but still be snail mail friendly.

I heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and wrapped it over the top square layer and adhering it on the back side.

One of my favorite cards I’ve made so far this year!

pam-sparks-leos-3rd-b-day-card

Hi everyone! Rudolph tryouts this week! hohoho  I think the one on the left is winning! lol  I could not be happier with how cute this card turned out!  These happy reindeer just make a gal smile so big!  Hope Leo likes it too… he’s grandson #9 of the 11 boys and just turned 3 years old!  Whew, I had to count that out! lol  Time flies faster than Santa that’s for sure!

I ink blended a background with Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks. Then I die cut the Avery Elle Falling Snow die in it.

pam-sparks-leos-3rd-b-day-card-close

I die cut the snow hill with one of the borders from the Avery Elle Custom Panels die set.

The frame is from the Avery Elle Postage Stamp Frame die set.

The reindeer, snowflake and holly are from the North Pole Pals Stamp set.

The pine bough is from the Kitsch Christmas Stamp set.

The images were all colored with Copic Sketch Markers…for the reindeer I used the E20 series, the greens are yG25, 17 and G09, the reds are R24, 27, 29 and 89, the teal is BG45, 49 and 19.

I stamped the images in Taylored Expressions Oreo Hybrid ink on Hammermill 100# Color Copy Cover card-stock.
