Avery Elle North Pole Pals for Leo’s birthday card…

pam-sparks-leos-3rd-b-day-card

Hi everyone! Rudolph tryouts this week! hohoho  I think the one on the left is winning! lol  I could not be happier with how cute this card turned out!  These happy reindeer just make a gal smile so big!  Hope Leo likes it too… he’s grandson #9 of the 11 boys and just turned 3 years old!  Whew, I had to count that out! lol  Time flies faster than Santa that’s for sure!

I ink blended a background with Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks. Then I die cut the Avery Elle Falling Snow die in it.

I die cut the snow hill with one of the borders from the Avery Elle Custom Panels die set.

The frame is from the Avery Elle Postage Stamp Frame die set.

The reindeer, snowflake and holly are from the North Pole Pals Stamp set.

The pine bough is from the Kitsch Christmas Stamp set.

The images were all colored with Copic Sketch Markers…for the reindeer I used the E20 series, the greens are yG25, 17 and G09, the reds are R24, 27, 29 and 89, the teal is BG45, 49 and 19.

I stamped the images in Taylored Expressions Oreo Hybrid ink on Hammermill 100# Color Copy Cover card-stock.

  1. Pam this is a perfect card for him!! Oh to be three at this time of the year…and with a birthday to boot!! Happy times are these for sure!!! Love that AE postage die – and your coloring Pam – spectacular!!

  2. Oh this made me happy just looking at it! The little reindeer are so adorable and love the snow background! Oh and the falling snow is pretty fun too! I think Leo will LOVE it!

  3. oh my goodness, pam, this card could not be cuter!! the reindeer are adorable and the one on the let certainly looks like he can fly like rudolph. i also love all the dies you’ve used; the falling snow die would make wintery skies a lot faster than my one dot at a time method. 🙂 i bet your grandson will love it.

  4. Reindeer on left gets my vote, too, Pam! It MUST be the nose!! Leo will love them ALL, I’m sure of it! Grandkids do grow up at a much faster rate than our own children, don’t they? xx

  9. Wow! Sooooo cute!! 11 grandsons??? Any granddaughters? It must be crazy when they all get together. But that makes one happy grandma! 🙂 Leo will love the card. It’s adorable and as always, I love your coloring. Have a wonderful Christmas! I’m off to FL to see my 4 grands for Christmas. Couldn’t escape Iowa at a better time. (Chuckle, chuckle)

  10. It’s so adorable! The snowy background is perfect, and I LOVE the reindeer tryouts! Must be fun to make special cards for the grandkids. I have none, so I act like a kid, myself. Merry Christmas!
