Printworks Collection Watercolor Poinsettia and new stencil…

pam-sparks-2016-poinsettia

Did you know Printworks Collection has stencils now?!  Yes!  They are so cool too…random and fun!  Here I used the new Summer Rain stencil with the Watercolor Poinsettia J2288.  HERE they are in the store…

I heat embossed the poinsettia with gold powder and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. To get the shimmer on the petals and leaves, I colored it with a Spectrum glitter brush marker.

I edged the background stenciled piece with Gold Delicata ink and an ink dauber.

The frame is from Taylored Expressions. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh, the Christmas collection.

How are you?  Yikes, don’t ask me. lol  I have stuff everywhere.  I keep starting things and then starting something else! HELP!  I wrap presents until I can’t find the right size box so I try to design a tag until I can’t find the right die for what I want to do.  How could I not have the right die you ask?  Well, I wonder the same thing!!! Cards started then stopping for life.  This morning I went to get a hair cut and I forgot to take the little bag of cards that I’d put together to give the gal. So another trip out and about.

I have another birthday card done though!  YAY!  I’ll post it next.

Thanks so much for your sweet comments and encouraging words! I need them! Take care and keep warm and cozy!

P.S.  Order from Printworks today through Friday, December 16th and receive FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $20. No code needed!

  1. What a gorgeous Poinsettia! You’ve done your magic with that great stencil, Pam! Don’t ask to see MY desk, thank you … you’ve made me feel as if it must be par for the course this time of year! xx

  2. Beautiful card Pam! I love the shimmery poinsettia and the stitched frame is lovely. My craft area is a total mess as I just keep creating to distract myself from surgery next week. Maybe you could just leave it and start on next year’s projects. LOL

  3. Pam, this is stunning. Looks like a piece of art that should be hanging on the wall where everyone can see! Beautifully done, as always! Your week sounds like my week – I always love going to see the kids, but it’s always a race to the finish when we travel! Working on a quilt, Christmas cards, baking, and have been my DH’s hands and arms on the job after his surgery last week. Yikes!

  4. Gorgeous card, Pam. Wonderful watercolor coloring. I feel exactly like you do. So many things started and some waiting to be finished. Having my stamp group over for lunch tomorrow and want to get my room straightened up. Will probably close the door. Keep going. You are doing an awesome job!

  5. Oh my Pam such a pretty card! I love that background and that Merry Christmas in the frame is adorable! This time of year is soooo busy! I did get my 64 cards done that I mail to my family and friends. A few more cards for some special friends yet to finish…wrapping done (the things that I have bought at least!) Thank goodness for Amazon for those out of town relatives! Ha! Still have shopping to do. With working, it is hard to get everything finished, but somehow we always do! Hugs to you! 🙂

  6. Ha! You sound like me! I’ve finally gotten in better shape, but still running like crazy. I love what you did with the stencil, and your watercoloring is divine! I love the TE frame, too. I have some others, but not the Christmas one. Wished many times as I was making my cards this year that I had that one, too. Oh, well. Can’t have everything, but you make me want it all!

  7. Pam can you tell me how you achieved the stenciled background for the poinsettia card. I can’t figure out how you did it.

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
