Memory Box Candle Centerpiece CAS card…

The days are getting away from me again!  How are you? This is ‘take two’ for this card…the first one…well, it got trashed! lol  I used a couple more dies and pattern paper and yikes…back to CAS! haha

I love this combo of candle, pine and holly.  I die cut it in white…heat embossed the outline with gold embossing powder twice, then colored the pieces with Copic Sketch markers before I inlaid them back in.

To keep the pieces together, I piece them from the wrong side and use 3L thin mounting squares to hold them together.  I cut the squares into 3 strips and it really works quite well.  You could do this with any foam type mounting adhesive. I’ll have to take a picture of what it looks like next time I do it. Take for example, where the holly is coming off the side of the candle…great place to stick one and it holds the inner leaf to the outline of the candle and to the candle.

The sentiment is from the Merry Christmas Sentiments stamp set HERE.   I just started using the Tim Holtz Stamp Press HERE….I like it a lot!  The die is called the Candle Centerpiece HERE and the strip of pattern paper is from Pebbles Merry Merry Collection, HERE.  (it’s from the strip on the bottom of the paper where one side has the name and the other side is complementary to the pattern, on the Holly Berries sheet)

Avery Elle Kitsch Christmas birthday card…

pam-sparks-bryants-10th-b-day-card

Hi everyone! Just stopping in to share a birthday card for our grandson Bryant. I just had to use this adorable Avery Elle Christmas Kitsch stamp and die set!  Soooooo CUTE!  So fun to color.

I made an ink blended sky with Distress inks  and stamped the three snowflakes from the set with Delicata Silver ink.  I added a few Pretty Pink Posh 3mm Sparkling Clear sequins.  I love these tiny ones!

The Memory Box Fresh Pine Landscape die is the background piece die cut in white card-stock.

I used the poppystamps Delicate Holly Frame die adhered to the scene with mounting squares under the solid holly leaves.

The deer are colored with Copic Sketch Markers, the E30 series. Copic Opaque White painted on the eyes and the spots.

I hope you’re having a nice relaxed Christmas prep week! Tim went to turn on the oven Saturday and the element in the oven went bad. ugh.  So all of a sudden we were stove shopping…or he was! lol  Poor guy.  He even went and picked one up by himself!  It’s really nice! I will enjoy heating up my cocoa with it! lol

I was busy making gift tags! hoho  I have a picture over on instagram but haven’t taken a picture with the camera yet.  They’re cute if you want to see… ugh…more deer!  WHAT?!  They are fun though…the Printworks antlers and googly eyes and a big red nose ‘Cool Yule’ kind of tag on kraft! yes!  Link to my IG page is over in the sidebar.

ok – I’ll shut up and get back to work!  Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy some cocoa with me next!  (I wish)

Memory Box Snowglobe Wishes card…

pam-sparks-santa-and-rudolph-snowglobe

Tis the season…for all things Christmas and snow related! Do you have a collection of snowglobe stamps and dies?  I do! Oh, I know, what don’t we collect?! lol

This adorable set is an Open Studio stamp set with coordinating dies from Memory Box called Snowglobe Wishes.

I colored the images with Copics, inked the background with Distress inks, spritzed with a pearly spray and then stamped snowflakes with Delicata Silver ink and white ink.

I die cut the snowglobe die in the top panel and glued the snowglobe to the card-base.

This Santa and reindeer are so cute!  I love all the images that come in the set and it’s so wonderful to have dies for all the pieces too!

Oh, for the snow piece they are standing on, I used Stampendous Frantage Chunky Deep White Deep Impression Embossing Enamel. Love this stuff for snow!

Printworks Collection Watercolor Poinsettia and new stencil…

pam-sparks-2016-poinsettia

Did you know Printworks Collection has stencils now?!  Yes!  They are so cool too…random and fun!  Here I used the new Summer Rain stencil with the Watercolor Poinsettia J2288.  HERE they are in the store…

I heat embossed the poinsettia with gold powder and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. To get the shimmer on the petals and leaves, I colored it with a Spectrum glitter brush marker.

I edged the background stenciled piece with Gold Delicata ink and an ink dauber.

The frame is from Taylored Expressions. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh, the Christmas collection.

How are you?  Yikes, don’t ask me. lol  I have stuff everywhere.  I keep starting things and then starting something else! HELP!  I wrap presents until I can’t find the right size box so I try to design a tag until I can’t find the right die for what I want to do.  How could I not have the right die you ask?  Well, I wonder the same thing!!! Cards started then stopping for life.  This morning I went to get a hair cut and I forgot to take the little bag of cards that I’d put together to give the gal. So another trip out and about.

I have another birthday card done though!  YAY!  I’ll post it next.

Thanks so much for your sweet comments and encouraging words! I need them! Take care and keep warm and cozy!

Hi everyone! Rudolph tryouts this week! hohoho  I think the one on the left is winning! lol  I could not be happier with how cute this card turned out!  These happy reindeer just make a gal smile so big!  Hope Leo likes it too… he’s grandson #9 of the 11 boys and just turned 3 years old!  Whew, I had to count that out! lol  Time flies faster than Santa that’s for sure!

I ink blended a background with Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks. Then I die cut the Avery Elle Falling Snow die in it.

The frame is from the Avery Elle Postage Stamp Frame die set.

The reindeer, snowflake and holly are from the North Pole Pals Stamp set.

The pine bough is from the Kitsch Christmas Stamp set.

The images were all colored with Copic Sketch Markers…for the reindeer I used the E20 series, the greens are yG25, 17 and G09, the reds are R24, 27, 29 and 89, the teal is BG45, 49 and 19.
