MFT Build-able Bouquet card…

Pam Sparks MFT Build-able Bouquet

Hello Monday everyone! I started this card early last week but just didn’t get back to it until this morning.  I had to finish it before I could start anything else and be sure to be on time for the Time Out Challenges  – CASE With Your Own Twist challenge!   I made it! whew!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Flowers

Happy Little Stampers Challenge – Anything Goes with Dies

CAS-usal Fridays Challenge – Birthday Girl

Time Out Challenges – CAS with the optional twist of purple

Seize the Birthday Challenge – birthday with the topping option, coloring

Dies R Us Challenge – Birthday

I used My Favorite Things Build-able Bouquet stamp set/die set, Inside and Out Stitch Rounded Rectangles, Distressed Patterns stamp set and sentiment from So Much Love stamp set.

I stamped with the MISTI, die cut, colored with Copic Sketch markers. I die cut the banner and then stuck it back in the die and cut again to make it shorter.

Stamped the splatters in Picked Raspberry…inked the frame with Spun Sugar but there was Picked Raspberry already in the blending tool sponge.  Background is Salty Ocean.

Very fun!  Thanks gals for the fun challenge!  So fun to CASE Kay!  Thanks for stopping by stamping friends!  TTUL!

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #276…

Pam Sparks CAS Cardinal Sketch

Hi! ok, so a blogging friend, Sandy keeps posting cute Christmas cards so she influenced me to think Christmas for this sketch! hehe She collects the cutest little figurines!!! Her name is ‘linky’ if you wanna go see.

This is my 2nd take on the sketch…I thought I was short on time because that’s pretty normal for me but it worked out that I had time today after-all so I made it over and I’m happier with the inking on this one.

Here’s the first one…

I added the polka dot washi tape so I could link it up to the polka dot challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog.

Here’s the MFT Sketch Challenge.  I thought it was pretty clever to use the twine for the band in the sketch.. hehe

Over on the Muse Christmas Visions Challenge blog, I was inspired by the holly paper, the white sentiment panel and the cluster of florals.

So I’m back with my love of kraft, red, green and white!  Happy day!  Hey, at least it’s not Christmas yet!  whew!

Thanks for the visit and best wishes for the week anyway! lol

Muse Challenge, Memory Box and Paper Smooches…

Pam Sparks April Showers Umbrella

Hi everybody!  yep, it’s raining here and it’s our youngest daughter’s birthday which got me to thinking about cards and the Muse Challenge that I’ve been wanting to jump in on this week!

muse_featured_member

I love Michele’s card and was inspired by her element popped up in the corner of the rectangle.  I left my rectangle kinda big cuz I didn’t want to cut off that much of the die but I kinda wish I would’ve now.  Oops, I added a layer and forgot the sentiment was on a banner. I should’ve sent myself the picture and had it up on my phone I guess.  Can’t trust my brain! lol

I used some dies I haven’t used very much so that was fun.

The Umbrella is from Magnolia Sweden (I don’t see it in stock in any of the US online stores, you can probably order it directly from Magnolia Sweden though)… the scallop stitched rectangle is from My Favorite Things… the rain background and stitched rectangle are Memory Box and the boots are from Paper Smooches. I stamped the boots with Evergreen Bough Distress Ink on the mini MISTI.  I stamped and cut out a mask and inked the inside of the boots with Evergreen Bough and Hickory Smoke Distress Inks.

The next card I made for stamp club here.  The theme was April Showers Bring May Flowers, so puddles with splashes just seemed like fun!  All the stamps and the die are from Paper Smooches. The stitched rectangle die is Memory Box.  The polka dot paper is My Favorite Things, the Lollipop and Cookie Monster layer and card-base are Taylored Expressions.

It’s interesting to see the difference in the background colors of the photos.  The welcome Spring card pictures were from Friday a.m. when the sun was shining… the umbrella card was late afternoon today with no sun but plenty of light.

Both cards are A-2 size.

Thanks for looking at my Spring cards! I appreciate it!  Have a good week!

The Border die is from Taylored Expressions and the sentiment is from Winnie and Walter. At first I just thought of this border die for birthdays but I really like it for Christmas too!

Memory Box and WPlus9…

PamSparksChatsfordWreathJoy700

Christmas in July is always so fun! I have two more cards with the Memory Box Chatfords Wreath to share today.  I love how these turned out!  I threw in some teal card-stock to throw me off the traditional Christmas colors path!  But wait…keep scrolling…I hopped back on with the second card!  Another card with this wreath HERE.

PamSparksChatsfordWreathNoel700

I die cut the wreath two times from two different green card-stocks, kept all the pieces and just interchanged them between the two cards.

I die cut the alphabets with score tape on the wrong side of the card-stock so they’d be stickers. It works so slick!  Easy to line up when you use the smallest size banner too! JOY is cut from metallic gold card-stock.

The white just makes it pop! Some pearls and Liquid pearls and it’s time to celebrate!  or bust out singing a carol or two!  : )

I’ll link up the dies and everything I used in inlinkz below.

I’m also linking to some challenges…

IMG_0889-001

I used the sketch from the Get Sketchy Challenge at WPlus9HERE

and

the challenge over at CAS-ology is Line – HERE

and

the challenge at Addicted To Stamps is CAS – HERE

I cut a quarter panel with the WPlus9 banner long die… it was the perfect amount of space I wanted for the ‘gap’ and an easy way to get a perfect gap! I lined each side with Washi Tape.  Stamped the Blanket Stitch flowers with chalk inks, the sentiments with Versafine black and all with the MISTI.

Thanks for visiting today!  Happy, creative weekend to you!
