PamSparksPoinsettia RibbonBlack

I made two cards for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #200 yesterday… here’s the sketch, I turned it horizontal on both of my cards and the twist is to keep your project clean-lined and fresh!

Here’s hoping I succeeded! : )  Lots of great prizes from great sponsors for the celebration!

My 2nd card for the challenge…using Peerless Watercolors for the presents.

The Border die is from Taylored Expressions and the sentiment is from Winnie and Walter. At first I just thought of this border die for birthdays but I really like it for Christmas too!

  1. Two beautiful card! The poinsettia card made my jaw drop – so elegant! Love them both. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  2. BOTH are fabulous! The golden poinsettia on black is absolutely stunning. And I love that present border with the watercolored background. It’s so effective with all of the white around it! Thank you for playing along with us as we celebrate 200 at Freshly Made Sketches!

  3. Love both of your cards and I so love versatile dies. My fav is the first card with the black….so striking and elegant. Absolutely beautiful. Definitely my style….clean and crisp.

  4. Beautiful cards! The color combination of the first is striking, and the rainbow colors of the second are so pretty!

  5. Oh these are just beautiful Pam! The die you used on the first one is the one that my Mom won and she just made a couple of cards with it. She’ll love seeing yours! I love the gold flower layered over the red! The second card with the watercolored presents is adorable!

  6. Beautiful cards Pam. I LOVE it when you make a Christmas card with red, black and gold/white. Your color choices are always so perfect and so is your poinsettia.
Adorable card with all the presents lined up. LOVE the coloring!!!

  7. Love both of these… the colorful presents are darling and I especially love the poinsettia ribbon card. I’m having lots of fun with that one.

  8. Would you mind sharing the dies you used on the poinsettia? Between the two, it’s my favorite. You do such beautiful work!

  9. Lovely cards as usual! I just bought that poinsettia die and can’t wait to start making Christmas cards. Really like your idea of off setting the gold poinsettia. The present card is so cute. Lots more possibilities throughout the year. Great inspiration again!!!

  10. These are absolutely stunning! Two fantastic looks from one great sketch! Thanks so much for playing along with our 200th challenge celebration at Freshly Made Sketches!

  14. Wow, stunning cards Pam! Oh my gosh that first one is so very elegant and bold, love it! The second one is just so pretty to look at , well they both are.

  15. Stunning cards, Pam. I’m a big fan of CAS cards and these are just wonderful. You seldom see black cards and is it ever a show stopper.

  16. Just seeing this too. I love both of them. I was looking at the poinsettia one as a start for my Christmas cards, but, of course, I can’t do that for the stamp club! Would be casing a card that I would then be sending you! I think both are great. The presents are just cute, cute, cute.

I love hearing from you! Thank YOU!
