Hi cardmakers and friends! Are you feeling festive yet? Some super FUN NEW dies from poppystamps! There’s a whole series of Nordic designs! I have a feeling that poppystamps will expand on this line into the new year too… time will tell!
I started out with a basic kraft top folding A2 cardbase.
I die cut the NEW Nordic Flourish Background with two of the reds from the Memory Box Berry Red 6×6 cardstock pad. The solid, darker for the background and the lighter for the doily like cut.
I die cut the NEW Nordic Flourishes die set in the medium color of the three reds and added them over the top here and there. You can see them better in some of the pictures.
I inked all the pieces a little with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and a mini ink blending tool.
I die cut the NEW Nordic Deer set in kraft and the same reds I used for the background. Then glued them up.
I die cut the two branches in a scrap piece of green from the Memory Box Lush Green 6×6 cardstock pad.
Warmest Wishes and Merry Christmas are from the NEW Birch Press Design Glad Tidings stamp set that I love so much!
I die cut Warmest Wishes after I heat embossed it with white embossing powder using the rectangle die that comes in the poppystamps foil and cut Modest Greetings sets.
I wanted to use the greenery and I thought, wrap it around the antlers… it didn’t quite work that way but I still liked it up there. Now I think it might’ve worked on one side of the sentiment instead. oh well, too late! lol
Reds are so hard to capture but I think the photos are pretty close to the cardstock colors this time. Kraft always makes me happy! lol
