Hello Bluebird Maverick Birthday Card and New Simon Says Stamp Release!

So this cute little pup found an old army plane. hehe Mercy this stamp set is CUTE! I had fun making this card for our grandson Corrin… 10th birthday for him already! Man, these kids grow up fast!

I die cut in white…stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black in the MISTI or TH Platform, can’t remember which… I use them both all the time… and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

A TIP for you if you buy this Sunshine background die…emboss the die on a panel so you have something to go by for placement. This is a die that all falls apart when you die cut it. So like a puzzle, you need the impression in a panel so you know how to put it back together, like a puzzle!

The Sun and rays are ink blended with Oxide inks. The edges of the clouds with regular Distress ink.

A little white gel pen and the sun and bottom cloud layer are mounted with foam tape.

Memory Box Antique Rose Cluster Label Sympathy Card…

Hi everyone! Super simple sympathy card to share with you today. This new Antique Rose Cluster Label die is super fun to do inlaid die cutting with.

I die cut a ‘pool’ piece of Memory Box notecard with the largest Wrapped Stitched Rectangle die.

I die cut the Antique Rose Cluster Label die in a ‘pool’ Memory Box card panel, a ‘licorice’ panel, a’pink’ panel and ‘sage’ panel.

Completely remove the cut from the ‘pool’ panel, put a piece of wide scor-tape across the wrong side, insert the black outline piece into the opening, then add all the pink and green pieces.

It’s so sweet!

I love this color combo!

I white heat embossed the sentiment from Memory Box Big and Little Words sentiment set and stamped the accent sentiment from the same set, using the MISTI for both.

Spellbinders Happy by Sharyn Sowell Birthday Card…

Hi everyone! Do you love the look of silhouettes like I do? Look at this new release from Spellbinders called Happy by Sharyn Sowell!

I used the animals from the collection. So cute!

Some pattern paper from the ‘ole stash and black cardstock…oh and glue! I used the glue sponge to glue two of each cut together. I need to make a video showing how I use the glue sponge.

I did mount a few with mounting tape and some things are glued flat.

I know these don’t look like Pooh and his friends but they sure remind me of them! lol The most recent book I read with two of our grandsons, Pooh had lost one of his honey pots. Oh tragedy! lol

Can’t help but make a gram smile you know! 😀

I’m anxious to see what all the other cardmakers made with these sets too.

Spellbinders July Small Die of the Month Card…

Look at these cute kitties! I had fun die piecing this set together for this card. It comes with the grass, the sentiment, everything!

I added their little whiskers from a teeny strip of black cardstock. Inked the die cuts with Distress Ink pads and the mini ink blending tool.

I made the ‘polaroid’ frame with a Spellbinders square die cut, then trimmed around it to make the frame.

This will be a birthday card for one of our granddaughters. They kinda look like they ate too much! hehe

We’ve had a series of birthdays again in the family. Here I was inspired by a buffalo plaid card I saw out there in card land. I know, super simple but I like it! Pretty self explanatory!

You could easy add to it. Below, I linked up the BBQ tools too.

I used the Cut Align Rulers set from My Sweet Petunia to cut the Happy Birthday saying. I do like them but I’m fairly savvy with a craft knife. I can cut a straight line a long a ruler! lol
