Simon Says Stamp Warm Christmas Card….super fun!

Hi everyone!  If you even have time to read my post on this busy week of being thankful!  I can tell you I’m thankful for a warm Thanksgiving!  I’m gonna head out and wash a few windows as soon as I finish this post! lol

I’m sharing my card for the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Sparkle release today!  How cute is this delightful tree and snowman!  I love this set!  I used one more image on the inside…I remembered to take a picture so it’s down below, keep scrolling! hoho  Oh, there’s a relaxing Santa in the set also but I didn’t get him into the composition! lol

Click on the picture ^ to shop the release…beautiful products to create with!

I ink blended a background with Distress Oxide ink…tore off the bottom sand part and covered the water and sky with vellum.

I die cut the NEW poppystamps Sunbeam Frame die in white and glued it over the top.

Trimmed down the sand and glued it to the bottom of the rays!

I’m tickled with how it turned out but if I was doing it again, I would cut another white die cut and ink blend it and fit the pieces into the top sunbeam frame die cut.   How cute!  ok – I love it!  lol

I colored with Copics…that always makes me happy…just an all around fun stamp set to create with!  There is a coordinating die set also!  yay!

Here’s the surprise on the inside!  You know what?!  This flamingo needs a red gem on the end of it’s beak! lol

Super cute!  A2 size card.

I hope you’re having a wonderful week and preparing for time with family and friends.  We’ll all gather tomorrow at one of our daughter’s.  Can’t wait!

Simon Says Stamp has some specials and a beautiful new card kit and so much more!  Have fun shopping in your spare time!

Memory Box Celeste Snowflake, Snowflake Trio and Plate Card…

Hello everyone! More snowflakes in the air and on my blog today! Free air conditioning when you open the door here in Iowa! haha

I started my card with the NEW Memory Box Celeste Plate and two colors of pink cardstock.  I used Cupcake and Pink Champagne.  I’ll link below.

I inlaid the pieces but you could just as easy glue one color over the top of the other and forgo laying in the pieces.

I die cut the NEW Memory Box Celeste Snowflake in silver foil/mirror cardstock and the outline in white cardstock.  Super easy.

Then it took awhile to decide where to put everything on this A2 size panel! lol

I needed a sentiment so I pulled out this Memory Box Joy Posh Script die that was new last year.  It’s beautiful and feminine and fit the direction this card was taking me!

I’m getting a lot of mileage out of this NEW Memory Box Classic Pair of Ice Skates die. Here they are again embellishing the snowflake theme I have going.

I LOVE that there’s a NEW Memory Box Celeste Snowflake Trio die to complement the large Celeste Snowflake and Celeste Plate!  So I die cut them in white and glued them directly to the panel.

Some Silver pearls in the centers to bring in the silver element in the design again.  I did white first but changed to silver…done!

well almost!  Here’s the inside!  I remembered!

The NEW Memory Box Sweet Christmas stamp set to match the Posh Script Joy die on the front.  I love matching sentiments!

I also die cut the NEW Memory Box Alpine Snowflakes die and glued them inside. Jazzed it up a little.  They are similar in design to the Celeste snowflakes so if you like to layer flakes, they work for that too!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Happy dreaming of creating all the things! eek!  How’d we get to November already anyway! ttul!

poppystamps Snowflake Loop, Proper Merry Christmas Card…

Hello!  I’m still working my way through this beautiful Memory Box 6×6 plaid paper pad!  I love it!

The contrast with white! The touch of gold… so festive!

All die cutting today…shoot me now!  I forgot to stamp the inside of my card!  I was sailing along so well there for a couple weeks! lol

I glued two white cuts together for the Snowflake Loop piece.  The snowflake from the set, I die cut two but just used them single.

I used Memory Box Black Glossy cardstock for the panel and the Proper Merry Christmas sentiment.

So simple once I finally decided what colors to use for the sentiment!

It’s a 5 ½ inch square card.  White cardbase.

Gold pearls in three sizes glued on to finish it up!

What are you making these days?  I see gals posting they’re starting to decorate their houses. We’ve been working in our basement …imagine over 100 year old basement that has plastered ceilings and walls cut into to run air conditioning ducts and wiring and plumbing etc!  Tim is taking down the plaster on the  ceilings, scraping the walls and painting the ceiling, walls AND floor!  It’s a lot…big old house.  So I’ve been moving stuff to keep ahead of him. Oh he’s building new shelves too!  I’m so excited!  Maybe I can store some of my excess stamp stuff down there!  How long should we keep boxes?!  lol  You know, the ones die cut machines come in, the MISTI boxes, etc!  Yikes!

Thanks for stopping by!  Talk to you again soon!

Pop Up Step Birthday Cottage Cutz Camping Card…

Hi everyone! Do you have memories of camping? Our grandsons keep very busy outdoors!  They love sleeping out and all the things that go along with it!  I have fun making them cards like this.

This is a step card of sorts, not sure what it’s called. It fits in an envelope though! lol

Here’s the back side…

Here’s the inside…

Have you heard of the show Adventure Agents?  Very fun for kids!

Here it is from the side…

Close up of the critters…

All the dies are from Cottage Cutz.

And here’s a video that maybe shows how it works better… be sure to click on one of the frame options to see it large.

Holler if you have any questions!  Confession…I made this in January so I can’t remember everything! ❤
