Hi everyone! It’s warming up a little here in Iowa…paper flowers making us think of Spring for sure! Although I’m not good at growing flowers and the three hydrangea bushes we planted a few years ago are finnicky about giving me blooms!
For the card front panel, mini slimline size card, 3 ½ inches x 6 inches, I cut strips of ½ inch white and black and just layered them on using ATG adhesive.
I created the sentiment with Poppystamps Modest Greetings 1 Hot Foil and Cut Die set and gold hot foil.
For my card today I used a bunch of NEW poppystamps dies! It was fun to create a kind of wildflower bouquet on a card!
I started with Little Posie Layered Flowers in pink…then Lucky Layered Flowers in the pool color, Little Layered Asters in blue and pink, Layered Pointy Petals in orange and Teardrop Butterflies in blue and white!
The greenery is from the NEW poppystamps Floral Vase Pop Up Easel Set. I used the bouquet stems from the set and cut two in green, put them end to end (I had to trim off some of the long stems), so easy because where to put the greenery was already decided for me by using the die from the set!
I die cut one other die from the set that cuts four extra stems and I just stuck them in…no rhyme nor reason.
I figured out where I wanted the flowers, took a picture of it with my phone, then glued them all on the card with Tombow Mono Multi glue while looking at my phone picture!
Another card using up scraps! The fun thing about die cutting! I guess I used to do the same with punches but it’s hard to use small pieces of cardstock with punches!

Such a pretty card! I love that black and white striped background! Glad it is warming up in Iowa! We have gradually been getting warmer here also! Thanks for sharing!
Love how you added these florals on the bold black and white background! Makes them really pop for a super happy, sunny card!! Thanks for your blog posts – they are great inspiration!!
Holy cow, lady-bug! This is gorgeous! It would have taken me a month to just die cut all those pieces! Thanks for always making me want to get creative!!! Another masterpiece, dear friend!
Another winner. I love the black and white for the background-but I can see me now cutting all those flowers and centers-ha ha!! I would have glue on my finger tips and stick all the wrong things together!! Yours are perfect!!
What a neat card! The detail in the flowers really pop when this is enlarged. Anything black and white is always a winner with me!
Oooh, look at this! All the flowers! I love how you cut strips for the background. You use black so well. Really pops. It’s super pretty, Pam!
You don’t have to be a gardener when you can create wonderful paper bouquets like this, Pam! The colors and layering are outstanding and they really pop against the black and white stripes! Love it! Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
Pam this is simply heavenly!! I’ve used the vase die from that set but not the flowers – boy they are absolutely beautiful, and more so in your incredible colors!!!
Pam this is such a gorgeous card, love all the pretty floral elements too. Thanks for sharing with us over at ‘The Flower Challenge’ 😉 Viv DT xx
