Memory Box Poinsettia Pillar and Radiant Frame cards…

pam-sparks-poinsettia-pillar-glitter

Hi everyone! I’ve been making cards…just not doing a good job of getting them posted! I finish one and get excited about something else laying there and have to make! lol  Then my camera setting got changed and I didn’t realize it and couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my pictures!  Finally saw the problem this a.m.! SCREAM!

I have posted a couple videos on instagram though…click the link in my side bar and you can see them even if you don’t have an account. Be sure to click the like button while you’re there!  It’s amazing how much that encourages a gal!  I love hearing from you if you can comment too!

My cards today are using the Memory Box Poinsettia Pillar, Radiant Frame dies and the poppystamps cottage platform and Swirled Love dies.  I cut the platform twice in one 4.25 x 5.5 piece of card-stock.  This was not what I intended to do with it at all! lol  I’ll still have to do the other soon! That’s what happens when you leave a piece laying around not finished!

American Crafts Glitter card-stock and Bazzill Gold Foil card-stock from Starlitstudio

I die cut everything for this card from white card-stock and inked with Distress Ink pads and the ink blending tools. Festive Berries, Candied Apple, Peeled Paint, Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Fossilized Amber.

Wishing Script is a poppystamps die that coordinates with the poppystamps Christmas Greetings clear stamp setI die cut Wishing three times and glued them together with Tombow Mono Multi glue.

OHHHHH – don’t forget the enamel dots I made myself with the NEW Nuvo Drops and Ranger Enamel Accents!  Move over sequins! lol (I make the dots on scrap release paper from scor-tape, then glue them to my card when they’re dry, cuz I could easy mess up my card I’m sure!)

This last picture is of three cards I started and never finished with these same dies.  I thought I’d go ahead and show them so you could see more color schemes…the sky is the limit!

Thanks for stopping by again!  I’ll be back real soon because I have more and will be showing the ‘even more’ NEW Memory Box and poppystamps release!  So many beautiful dies!  TFL! and TTUL!

Memory Box and poppystamps shaker cards…

pam-sparks-grand-hour-glass

This turned out so fun!  I used the poppystamps Grand Hour Glass die for this shaker card.  The sentiment is from the poppystamps Hope and Thanks stamp set.  (there is a small hour glass too!)  Oh and I die cut the Banner Sash die right over the top, after I die cut the hour glass.

Here’s a short video to see the action…

And HERE‘s a video tutorial on how to make the Hour Glass Shaker card.

Linking up my shaker cards to the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With Dies Challenge…

For this Happy 29th birthday shaker I used the Memory Box Grand Voyage Balloon.  I think I’ll stamp AGAIN real big on the inside. hehe

Here’s a short video showing the shaking sequins in the balloon…

I colored the card with Distress inks and the ink blending tools. Mowed Lawn, Festive Berries and Salty Ocean.  The sky is Tumbled Glass.

I used the MISTI to stamp the sentiments on both cards.  I used a fine line pen to trace the embossed line in the balloon basket so it’d show up more.  Easy to stay in the line…well, go over it more than once! lol

Have fun!  Hope I inspired you to make something today!  Stamp club here tomorrow and I have to get ready for it next!  yay!

Thanks for stopping by!  ‘preciate it so much!  It’s always encouraging to hear from you!

Here’s the shopping links to what I used today… and if you get to shop at a local store, I’m jealous!  Not really but you are fortunate!

Memory Box and poppystamps 3 cards today!

Pam Sparks Feathertree Frame Thank you

Hello! Distress ink watercoloring again for this thank you card. I just brushed on Distress ink refills.  Dropped a drop on acetate, spritzed with a few shots of water and brushed it on here and there on watercolor paper…very forgiving. yay!

Pam Sparks Feathertree Close

I die cut the Feathertree Frame in heavy white card-stock, inked it by pouncing it with an embossing pad and pouring on the gold embossing powder.  I used Tsukineko’s gold powder this time.

The sentiment is stamped with the MISTI stamping tool and embossed with the same ink and powder on a strip of vellum.

Pam Sparks Forest Tree Frame Owl

Here I did the same thing with the Distress ink refills but just brushed straight across but overlapped the strokes… wilted violet, chipped sapphire, tumbled glass and forest moss, I think…I always think I’ll remember! ugh.

Pam Sparks Forest Tree Frame Owl Close

I die cut the Forest Tree Frame die in heavy white card-stock, die cut the owl in kraft card-stock, inked him with Gathered Twigs Distress ink, colored his eyes with a Copic Sketch black marker and added white to his chest with the Sharpie White pen…links to the products below.

Sentiment stamped with Taylored Expressions new Oreo Hybrid stamp pad and the MISTI stamping tool.

Whew – one more card for today…I’ve had this one done for awhile but just haven’t gotten it worked in but I need to!

Pam Sparks Ocean Corner

I watercolored the backgrounds and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Brush pens…love them too!  oh you know, these days…what’s not to love about everything in the paper crafting industry!  So much wow out there!

Some of the Sharpie white pen dots again and a sentiment stamped with the MISTI again…YES, if you’ve had any doubt whether this tool is worth the investment, I’m here to tell you YES, you need it and will LOVE it!  I have both sizes and two of each…I share with our grandkids and classes too though..wink, wink.  Our granddaughters all want them for their birthday gifts this year too!  So far two down…two to go! lol

ok – I’ll shut up.  It’s Saturday and the eve of a big get something done vacation weekend!  I’m expecting Tim home any minute to work.  Painting and fixing. yuk. But thankful cuz it needs done!

OH – crazy morning though… did this happen to any of you?  I got woke up a few minutes after 7 this a.m. because the bed was shaking!!!  So strange!  It happened 3 times. Earthquake in Oklahoma and I’m in IA!  This happened one other time some years ago…same thing…still sleeping and woke me up but I’d forgotten and didn’t put two and two together until I checked Facebook and my sister commented that they were out eating breakfast and the pictures were moving on the wall in the restaurant! Yikes that we were feeling something so far away from both of us.  She lives 3 hours away from me!

Did it wake you up?  Hope some mosquitoes lost their lives! Ha!

Thanks for stopping by! ttul!
