MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #276…

Pam Sparks CAS Cardinal Sketch

Hi! ok, so a blogging friend, Sandy keeps posting cute Christmas cards so she influenced me to think Christmas for this sketch! hehe She collects the cutest little figurines!!! Her name is ‘linky’ if you wanna go see.

This is my 2nd take on the sketch…I thought I was short on time because that’s pretty normal for me but it worked out that I had time today after-all so I made it over and I’m happier with the inking on this one.

Here’s the first one…

Pam Sparks Cardinal Sketch1

I added the polka dot washi tape so I could link it up to the polka dot challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog.

Here’s the MFT Sketch Challenge.  I thought it was pretty clever to use the twine for the band in the sketch.. hehe

Over on the Muse Christmas Visions Challenge blog, I was inspired by the holly paper, the white sentiment panel and the cluster of florals.

So I’m back with my love of kraft, red, green and white!  Happy day!  Hey, at least it’s not Christmas yet!  whew!

Thanks for the visit and best wishes for the week anyway! lol

Printworks Collection, Here Kitty Kitty…

Pam Sparks Here Kitty Kitty2

Isn’t this an adorable kitty image?  Annette from Printworks has drawn the cutest animals! This one is Here Kitty Kitty.  I stamped on watercolor card-stock and colored with Distress Ink Markers.

So cute!  and I’m not an animal lover at all!

A couple dies and sentiment stamp also from Printworks and it was done. Never mind that this was the second attempt. lol  It’s an A2 size card.

Oh, see the white dots on the butterfly?  Well, Linda told me about this Sharpie White Pen so Cindy got them in… so far… I LOVE it!  Thank you Linda and Cindy!!!

I’ll link up what I used below… thanks so much for stopping by!

MFT Card Challenges: Wednesday Sketch…

Pam Sparks MFT Warm Hugs

Hi everyone!  I’ve been thinking about getting in on the MFT Challenges for sometime and today is a start!  YAY!

Here’s the sketch…I flipped it over for some reason! lol

It’s cooled off some here again… Sunday it was 82˚ but yesterday we were just in the lower fifties!  So sending some warmth is good! lol

I masked off with poster tape and inked a strip in the stitched square with Salty Ocean and Gathered Twigs Distress Ink.  Then I have the cool Homespun Stitch Lines set from MFT and I used the Blanket Stitch one on both sides of the inked strip.  It doesn’t cut the paper it just embosses it!

The pillow, rug and sentiment are from the Merry Christmoose stamp and die sets with the cute moose.  I’ll link up below. I stamped the images with the MISTI and Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

I hope you’re as warm as you want to be, via coffee, cocoa or the weather!

Thanks for stopping by!

SALE on SSS and birthday cards…

13-years-revised

YAY! So many cool stamps, dies, papers, inks, stencils and more from Simon Says Stamp!  Congrats on 13 years Simon Says Stamp!

A couple birthday cards that finally made it to the birthday kids so I can post them!  hehe

Pam Sparks Ethan's 16 b-day

For Ethan’s 16th birthday I used the MFT Smart phone die and one of the borders from the Memory Box Geometric Borders die set…

The Doodlebug enamel black dot for the button at the bottom and Ranger Black enamel accents in the top holes.

It’s hard to see but the phone is cut from Silver metallic card-stock.

Pam Sparks Lilli's 11th b-day

Lilli’s card is made with the Distress Ink Smooshing background and Avery Elle stamps and dies.  I used the dies to make masks to keep the ink off the images.

The rainbow Washi tape is from Doodlebug…not sure about the skinny triangle one.

Linking my cards up to Seize the Birthday challenge!

Working on cards for two Memory Box classes coming up March 12th at Scrapmania in Cedar Rapids! Looking forward to seeing the ladies there again!

Happy Weekend everybody and thanks for stopping by!

MFT Card Challenge and Winter Warmth Cards…

Pam Sparks MFT Challenge Hello Winter Warmth Flowers

Happy Hello to January 11th already! I wanted to play in the My Favorite Things Card Challenge this week…Sketch 262.

262

These fun flowers are from the Winter Warmth stamp and die set.  The Hello dies is from the Smart Phone die set.

Here’s a picture with a black background.  I couldn’t decide between the two! lol

Pam Sparks MFT Challenge Hello Winter Warmth Black

I stamped the flower die cuts with Colorbox Chalk inks in Pink Pastel, Rouge and Lime Pastel using the MISTI so I could stamp multiple times for solid coverage.  Love that!

Then I had to play with this stamp and die set some more and use the mittens and mug.

Pam Sparks MFT Mitten Mug Knit

These colors…so fun together! Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio Distress inks.

Going to link my mittens card to the Card Concept photo inspiration challenge. I was inspired by the mittens and the mug… and I would add it to the Clean and Layered category.

One more…

Pam Sparks MFT Mitten Mug postal

I masked the postal die cut and inked with Distress Inks…Peacock Feathers, Peeled Paint and Anitque Linen.  I know, weird combo. lol

A TIP for you…the more layers of colors you ink on the more reactive the ink is with water!  See how the blue shows through the green?!  Love that!

I used Distress markers for the lines on the mittens and snowflakes on the mug. White gel pen for the little dots and Dylusions White spray ink for the other dots. I used one of those Fantastix sticks for those.

The Stitched Oval is from the New Memory Box Stitched Ovals Layers die set.

EEK!  I better get this published before the challenge ends!  I will be back with the two winners of the giveaway in a day or two!  Thanks for commenting!

ttul!
