The WINNER IS…. NEW Memory Box Gloriette Snowflake Collage Card

Congratulations Nancee!  Email me your address and I’ll get this in the mail to you! ❤

So a month or so ago, on a Saturday afternoon, I made a bunch of backgrounds on watercolor paper following Jill Foster’s tutorial video!  It was so much fun!  I ended up with 35 pieces this size!!!  I know, you’re laughing at me but it was so fun!  I’m using two for the first time today!  I need to use them so I can make some more!

The New Memory Box Gloriette Snowflake Collage die is great fun too!  Just wow, so many variations you can come up with using the two dies that come in this envelope!

Top picture is what I did first, then I had leftover pieces and instead of making another card at the time I glued them together and made another snowflake which could be a tree ornament or a tag but to show you how it looks on a card I took a picture of it inserted into this card!

Really pretty both ways!  I love this set!

So then I needed to fill in a little bit so I die cut the NEW Memory Box Starburst Snowflake Discs and just used the snowflakes from the cuts and glued them directly to the card front.

What’s a card without words?  Is it still a card? hoho  I wanted words so I die cut the NEW Memory Box Merry Christmas Curled Script die three times and glued them together.  I love it!  I love that the dot for the i is on the flourish of the capital M!  I’m always losing those little dots!   I lost an exclamation mark clear stamp this week.  So crazy! lol

I’m really tickled that I actually stamped inside this card and even stamped the back with my name stamp!  Normally I wait until the last minute then I’m hurrying but I wanted to use this NEW Memory Box Sweet Christmas stamp set because it matches the font of the Merry Christmas die on the front!  It’s a beautiful sentiment set!  I always love a match too!

See?  Isn’t that pretty! Many more to choose from too.

ok – I’m gonna quit talking now and get links made and try to get out of the house for a bit this afternoon!  It’s so beautiful out! Sun is shining and I love the cooler temps!  🙂

Have a beautiful weekend and enjoy Cardmaking day tomorrow or whatever it’s called. hehe

poppystamps Pondering Layered Deer in the Iced Pine Trees Mini Slimline Card…

Hi everyone!  Welcome to a Winter Wonderland using NEW poppy dies and the NEW Memory Box Jolly 6×6 pattern paper pad.  The plaids in this pad are gorgeous!

I die cut and laid everything out before I cut the plaid paper.  I decided to go with the Mini Slim size, completed it is 3 ½ x 6 inches.

I used the NEW poppy Proper Merry Christmas die cut in TE Cherry Pop Red cardstock and Hammermill White cardstock.

The NEW poppy Pondering Layered Deer is die cut in TE Toffee cardstock and inked with Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool.

The scarf is colored with Copic E07 and the antlers with Copic E47.

The NEW Iced Pine Trees are cut in TE Toffee Cardstock also and Hammermill White for the snow. I colored the trees with Peeled Paint Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool.

I used an older Memory Box die for the snowy hills,  Stitched Curves.

I mounted the sentiment and the deer with the thin mounting tape I like so well.  The hills and trees are taped and glued directly to the plaid and then the cardbase.

NEW Memory Box Christmas Release!

Hi everyone!  Excitement is in the air…well…because NEW Christmas stuff to play with!  YAY!

For today’s card I combined three NEW dies with two old dies.

NEW Classic Pair of Ice Skates die…all laced up and hanging on the Large Vintage Sled.

NEW Pine Needle Frame and NEW Alpine Snowflakes because what’s a card without pine and snow?! lol

I used the Curled Holly Branch to embellish the sled.  I cut the holly off the curl. I love the detail on this holly die!

Then I adhered it all to a TE Corn Blue cardstock A2 size panel, then to an A2 size white cardbase.

The only thing I used my favorite thin mounting tape for is the sled.

I did die cut three of the skates and glued them together to make them more like a chipboard piece.

The woodgrain cardstock on the sled is from Memory Box and the woodgrain paper on the sole of the skates is a pattern paper.

A little bit of Gathered Twigs Distress ink brushed on with a mini ink blending tool.

Some TE sugar cube pigment ink brushed on the pine also with a mini ink blending tool.

poppystamps Halloween Assemblage and Rickety House Cards and a chance to win!

Boo!  Happy Saturday! Two more cute halloween cards to share today then it’s on to the NEW Christmas releases from Memory Box and poppystamps!  I hope you’re enjoying and creating with all the new releases! hehe

Here’s the Memory Box Black Glossy cardstock out to play again!  I used white glossy on the Boo but it’s hard to tell it in the pictures.  I should’ve used it on the ghost and cobweb too! lol

A2 size card…. links below to the dies I used.

Next up, some more purple and orange goodness!

Oxide inks came out to play… two purples and two oranges blended on white cardstock.  Then a cloud stencil with white pigment ink brushed on over the top of the purples and oranges.

Spatter on some black and white watercolor inks.

Die cut the ink blended panel with Wrapped Stitch Rectangles die before inking.

The ghost on this card is from the NEW Whittle Creatures die. (in my previous post also)

Sentiment is from Memory Box clear stamp set Halloween Pumpkin.

A2 size card.

I hope you enjoyed this little mini series from me for halloween!  Here’s my other two posts with cards from this Memory Box and poppystamps release…. HERE and HERE.

Thank you for stopping by!

I have a couple halloween dies to giveaway!  Comment for a chance to win!

poppystamps Cat Collage Card, Whittle Creatures Card and Jack O Lantern Frame Card…

Hi everyone!  It’s Black, Orange and Purple season!  But isn’t this black NEW Cat Collage amazing die cut in Memory Box black glossy cardstock!  I love the thickness of it….I use a piece of copy paper folded in half for a shim when I die cut it.

Memory Box NEW Happy Halloween Posh Script die cut directly in the glossy card front panel then an orange die cut inlaid into it.  Be sure to keep the centers of the letters!

An easy alternative to gluing!  I put scor-tape on the back side, flip it over and inlay the die and letter centers. I use scor-tape a lot!

I had a scrap of brayered cardstock that wasn’t good enough to make the keep pile.  It worked perfectly for die cutting the background for the cat and the windows of the NEW poppystamps Twisted Houses die!

A2 size card.

Next up is a cute, cute card using the NEW poppystamps Whittle Creatures die set.

Aren’t they cute?  oh, I already said that! lol  They’ve got personality!

I die cut in white and copic colored.  So easy because the only little pieces are the faces. I put a little piece of scor-tape on the backs, then insert the little pieces with a pick up tool. Works great!

I decided to go postal!  Memory Box Postage Square Layers for the white layer, Stitched Square Layers for the bluish green layer.  I had to cut the black layer with a paper trimmer.

The broom is from the NEW Whittle Witch die.

Then I needed words!  I landed on this poppystamps Marzipan Greetings clear set.  A bunch of fun sentiments in this set.  Love it!

Mini Slimline size card.

My next card is CAS or QAE!

Mini Slimline size card again using the NEW poppystamps Jack O Lantern Frame die.

I die cut it in TE candycorn cardstock.  Colored with copics, the branches brown and the leaves green, coloring right over the orange cardstock.

I die cut the NEW poppystamps Boo Pie Script die in Memory Box black glossy cardstock.  So fun!  A smiling Jack O Lantern just trying to scare you! ha!

I have TWO more Halloween cards to show you tomorrow!  Then….guess what?!  More NEW coming!  Be watching!

Thank you for clicking over and making it through my long post! I kinda got carried away with a three day cardmaking marathon this week. eek! I didn’t mean to scare you! lol
