Memory Box Cheery Flower Stems and Pinpoint Heart Wedding Card…

Hi everyone! Our oldest granddaughter got married in May and this is the card I made for her. I copied a card I made several years ago!

I die cut the Memory Box Pinpoint Heart die in an A2 size white cardstock panel. I added a piece of pattern paper behind it. It was just a random piece that a friend had given me!

I die cut the Memory Box Cheery Flower Stems in solid black cardstock and added a couple enamel dots to the centers.

The sentiment is from the Memory Box Peony Garden Wreath stamp set.

The die cut hearts are from a Paper Smooches die set.

It was a fabulous, beautiful wedding. Lots of memories!

My Favorite Things ‘Right on Track’ Birthday Card…

Hi everyone! One of our granddaughters LOVES vinyl, I still call them records, but when I saw this set I HAD to have it! I LOVE how it turned out!

These cute critters are from My Favorite Things!

I stamped them in the MISTI with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic Sketch Markers. A little white gel pen added after coloring. What a happy musical trio!

My pictures turned out good so there’s five of them! lol

I used an older Memory Box die, Party Music 98757 for the background but I’m linking you to the new die.

The sentiment stamps I used are from Paper Smooches which is closed now but I did see some pages of PS stamps on ebay. The name of the set is Birthday Sampler.

I just used a A2 white cardbase and on the inside I glued an extra record that I had colored.

A clean and simple card but good colorbook therapy!

Our family hasn’t had any February birthdays but we just got our first yesterday! Our first great grandchild was born! So exciting! It’s a girl! I can’t wait to shop for some girl things! It’s all icy out today so I’m not going anywhere yet but soon!

One of our grandson’s was telling another grandson that grandpa is a great grandpa now. His reply was, grandpa has always been a great grandpa! lol We think our grandkids are great! ❤

Hi everyone! A BIG tag for today’s post! Super fun shower for our grandson’s new wife Saturday morning!

She loves to garden so a few of us had fun gifting her gifts for that!

For some reason my camera didn’t blurr out the background for me on this picture so I tried to edit it out. Sorry it’s so bad! This is a dump garden wagon…she loves it! I picked up some plants too and one is an Iceland Poppy. I had to purchase it for her because they honeymooned in Iceland! So fun!

Memory Box Toolbox 3D Embossing Folder Birthday Card…

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a card I made with the NEW Memory Box 3D Toolbox 3D Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies.

It’s so neat that you can die cut, then put the cuts into the folder to get all this detail!

I was inspired by Memory Box Dave’s card HERE. It’s such a great design I pretty much copied it!

So fun! Our grandson Rogan’s 9th birthday is today and he’s a great help with work around the house. Of course boys love tools and knives!

I used the Memory Box Wooden Alpha Dies for his name.

Happy Birthday sentiment is white heat embossed on red with the Memory Box Best Life Typewriter Sentiments. It’s from 2019 and doesn’t look like it’s available anymore. This would work also…Banner Greetings.

I used some Silver Foil and Glossy Black cardstocks for tool parts and Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool to age the Memory Box wood grain cardstock and kraft cardstock.

Everything is adhered with the thin mounting tape that I love, linked below, except for the little red happy birthday sentiment.

This card fits in a #10 business size envelope but it’s not as long as the usual slimline card. It’s 3 ¾ in. x 8 ¼ in.

Family Update…

Dear friends and cardmakers…I wanted to email each of you but decided I better just share a short post. I can talk up a storm in person but coming up with words to type can be so hard.

Our youngest daughter, Breanna passed away late Sunday afternoon. We’re crushed and heartbroken. We’re so thankful for prayer, family and friendships.

The obituary is HERE. Thank you so much for your kindness and support. We appreciate it so much!
