Reverse Confetti, Countdown to Confetti Day Two…

Welcome back to Day Two Sneek Peeks of the January Release for Reverse Confetti! Today we are introducing the stamp set Butterfly Wreath and coordinating Confetti Cuts set.

I made it up two ways… the first that I’m sharing today is a CAS card colored simply with Copics (BG10, 11, 13) and then with a shimmer pen. I’ll share my other card on release day Wednesday.

I die cut the wreath in an A2 size panel to overlay the stamped and colored image that I adhered to the cardbase after coloring because… yah… remember Copics soak through the cardstock.

This card could be used for so many occasions… well this set could be! Beautiful image and sentiments! I especially love the one, ‘you’ve been on my mind’. Come back Wednesday to see that one used on a card! ❤

Cottage Cutz Peeker Snowmen Birthday Card…

Cute card warning….and these snowmen fit the part! It’s a dreary windy, rainy day here. A little blog cheer is called for!

My white pen was acting up…grrr. The cardinals have a dot of black enamel accents on their eyes.

I die cut the snowmen in white and colored all the parts with Copic Sketch Markers.

I die cut the music in black and left it complete…die cut it again in white and cut out the snowflakes and glued them over the black ones.

The background is Distress Oxide inks and the mini ink blending tools…Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot.

This is for our oldest daughter that was born on Christmas Day!

I was inspired by Leslie Miller’s 2nd card HERE. It’s funny the twists and turns a card takes as it comes to life! Kinda like Frosty! lol

MFT Hop, Flip and a Jump Interactive Birthday Card…

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a birthday card for one of our grandsons that just turned 7 the end of September. He’s a tramp lovin’ boy for sure and can run like the wind!

I used some newer My Favorite Things stamps and dies… perfect for our grands who all love the tramp. I had a $25 gift certificate that I’d won on a challenge that helped me buy the awesome Interactive Up Down Die set! We’ll need to use it a lot!

I followed the MFT Design Team gal Laura’s instructional video on how to do it. I reinforced the mechanism by gluing 3 die cuts together though, it really needed the strength! I haven’t asked but I’m hoping it’s still working on the card! hehe

Super cute and easy to color! I was so happy with how it turned out! I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Ink and cut the images out with the Scan and Cut 350, then colored with Copic Sketch Markers. There are coordinating dies, I’ll link them up below.

Two poppystamps and Memory Box Autumn Cards…

Hi everyone! Some Autumn cards I’ve made and haven’t gotten posted yet!

The poppystamps Autumn Leaves Sidekick Frame and Stencil is so pretty! There’s also two die sets of leaves that match this die… I’ll link to them below in case you’re interested.

The sentiment I used this time is from poppystamps Autumn Leaves clear set.

I used Oxide inks to blend the rectangle I stamped on.

The leaves were blended with oxide inks but I wasn’t happy with them so I colored over them with Copics!

The background behind the frame I watercolored with regular distress inks.

My next card ended up being one thing after another! I watercolored a background with regular distress inks but it was pretty dark. I tried stamping the leaves stamp from the Memory Box Grateful Autumn stamp set directly on it but I didn’t like it. So I gold heat embossed a piece of vellum and adhered it to the background with teeny lines of glue. I wasn’t thrilled with that either so I colored the leaves directly on the front of the vellum with Copics! Copics to the rescue again! lol

I want to see what I can come up with this stamp set with another try! It’s so pretty and so many amazing stamps and sentiments in the set!

Honey Bee Stamps, Oh My Whiskers Birthday Card…

Hi everyone! It’s time for family September birthdays around here. This is for our granddaughter that loves her outdoor kitties! It’s her 12th birthday and one of her birthday gifts from her mom and dad were all the kitty pictures printed from her iPod and a photo album to put them in! So so sweet! She loved it!

When I saw this stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps, I knew I had to have it for Lizzie Faith’s birthday card this year. The kitties are SO CUTE! Just full of personality.

I stamped on Copic X-press it card, cut the images out with the Scan and Cut and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. There are coordinating dies to but I don’t have them yet.

Pinks are R81,83,85

Green YG17

Grays the T’s and N’s

Violet V12, 15, 17

yellow Y13, 15

I added the white dots to the boot with a White Signo Gel pen.

The cardstock is Taylored Expressions Confetti Cake for the cardbase and Bazzill cut with a grass die and cloud border die.

The white heat embossed sentiment is from another set, I’ll link below and I colored a piece of Copic X-press it card with the pinks, let it dry, then heat embossed it in the MISTI. Another sentiment from the same set on the inside.
