Memory Box and Poppystamps Christmas in the City…

PamSparksCityGlobeTake2.700

I know… Christmas again?!!!  yes… tomorrow… tomorrow won’t be Christmas cards!!!  I hope! lol

You have to love these mini snowmen though!  So cute to tuck in a scene!

PamSparksCityGlobeClose600

Can you see them?  One in front of the NEW Memory Box City Globe stamp, hatless… brrrrr …then two out front.  I used the Poppystamps Pine Border die cut in MB Dill cardstock too.  I cut off a few trees and placed them with the hatless snowman and then a piece out front with the two more.  (three different hats and four snowmen on the die)

The City Globe stamp is inked with black pigment ink and clear embossed, behind a panel with a circle cut out of it, then two cuts of the NEW MB Fabulous Holly Wreath die glued on the circle panel.

It’s Christmas Time in the City is a NEW sentiment stamp from MB and comes with a little holly stamp on the end of it.  I inked the sentiment with Versafine Black ink and the holly with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copics and added Christmas Red Stickles to the berries.

Red twine and Red Glitter Domes or Red Pearls to finish it off!  Oh, wouldn’t a jingle bell be cute tied on the bow?!!!  An A-2 size card, just right for mailing!  Use a piece of that really thin foam like packaging sheet over the front, inside the envelope, to help keep the envelope from puncturing while going through the postal machines.

PamSparksCityGlobeSide700
I love the freshness of this card… the green against the white… the candy cane sweetness from the twine.  Love this new stamp… it’s great with the MB snow globe dies too!

Happy Tuesday and I’m off to get ready for tomorrow’s blog skip with Perfect Paper Crafting and Operation Write Home.  See you tomorrow!  Thanks for Looking!  ‘preciate it!  Have a good day!

Memory Box and Poppystamps…

PamSparksSleighScene700

Happy Day!  I could hardly wait to get my hands on the new Poppystamps dies and stamps!  My order came Monday so I stopped everything yesterday and made two A-2 size cards! lol  Back to Christmas cards for a couple days!

PamSparksSleighSceneRight

There…you can see the embossing on the sleigh in this photo!  So cool!  I combined the new Poppystamps dies, Santa’s Magic Sleigh, Small Garden Sprig, Woodland Fawn with Memory Box ‘All is Calm’ stamp, Winter Cabin Landscape, Bare Sapling, Twiggy Tree and Silent Snowfall.

PamSparksSleighSceneLeft

It might look like the sky is black but it really is Memory Box Sapphire card-stock…it’s navy!  I just can’t capture the colors right.  I need a new lens. I keep forgetting to shop for one! ugh.

PamSparksSleighSceneClose

Frosted Lace stickles for the snow and Distress Peeled Paint stickles on the scarf.  Red Glitter Domes on the sleigh.

Of course I had to have the snowman!  Salutations!  Yes, he’s waving at you! : )

PamSparksSnowmanSceneFront

Meet Poppystamps Bundled Snowman stationed in front of the Country Fence and Mountain Top Trees stamp and die set.  The sentiment, snow place like home, is from Memory Box.

PamSparksSnowmanSceneSide

I left this card very CAS…could easy add snow though.  When you see it IRL, it just doesn’t need the sparkle to shine, in my opinion! lol

He’s got personality! (waves g’bye) Thanks for stopping by today… fun to share my excitement over new dies again!  I’ll be back tomorrow with a card and video for the Memory Box blog but I’ll post them both here too!  ttul!

Magnolia, Tilda’s Town Challenges…

_MG_9257-001

The challenge at Tilda’s Town this week is Christmas!  I got it into my head to go for CAS… well… it’s pretty IRL but oh my… so hard to capture shiny, shimmery, gold and glitter on camera!

c

I colored with Copics… G20’s, R30’s, YR21’s and a metallic silver gel pen.

Put the double sided tape sheet over it and used the Art Glittering system’s diamond dust glitter all over it.

I used the Jingle Jangle Tangle stamp and A Merry Christmas Text stamp from Magnolia, available at Tilda’s Town.com .  I heat embossed the sentiment with gold ultra fine embossing powder.

Cut the layers with my Perfect Layers Rulers… LOVE them… link over in the right sidebar and tutorial under the header…pull down under tutorials.

Memory Box…more Christmas!

PamSparksHollyWreath700

Deck the Halls with boughs of Holly… this is the NEW Fabulous Holly Wreath die from Memory Box.  I cut it twice and layered it up on two cuts of the Bramble Circle die.  A piece from the Pine Needle Border (love this die) and top it off with four cuts of the half bow from the Crisp Bows dies.  I love these Glitter domes too… link below in shopping for supplies links.

I stamped the Winter Collage Background stamp in brown ink on Memory Box Kraft card-stock.  Stamped it again on Cranberry to get an extra bird, cut it out and mounted it on the full stamped piece.

Mounted the Kraft piece to Cranberry, to Vanilla Bean and then to a Vanilla Bean Distressed Dots card base. I used the Perfect Layers Tools to cut the mats/layers.  No snow on this one but you could sure add some to cool things off! haha

PamSparksPineConeCorner650

Just can’t get enough of the NEW Pinecone Corner die…love the NEW Hayden Twigs die with Frosted Lace Stickles and Glitter Domes!  How cool is the NEW Snowcap Ornament die in Cranberry Dots card-stock!  The little snowflakes I cut out of NEW Gabriella Border die and put White Glitter Domes in the centers. It all just pops on the white card.  Sure reminds me of how bright the fresh fallen white snow is!

I’ll sign off and we’ll go back to celebrating Summer! : )  I sure do notice that it’s getting darker earlier every week… that’s what I miss most in the Winter… I like the extra hours of light in the Summer!

Thanks for the blog visit today!  I always love hearing from you!  I’ll be back Friday!

A little non-traditional on the colors here but I love kraft with red and white…throw in the Memory Box color Pool and it’s a winter wonderland!

I used the NEW Sussex Globe and Precious Mittens dies… the NEW Walking in a Winter Wonderland stamp.

Red Glitter domes and small and medium pearls for a touch of bling… I love it!  Hope you do too!  (I put links below to glitter domes…I love them! used them last  year too)
