Hello everyone! Have you seen this new die set from Memory Box? Well, it’s not the latest release but it wasn’t that long ago!
Just something about pails with flowers…I’m kinda envious of gals with flower gardens that can go pick whenever they want too. I’m not envious of the work involved though! So it’s paper flowers for me!
Funny story for you…. I decided to die cut the flowers in white and Copic color them so I grabbed a scrap of white from my white scrap bag. Put it down on the dies and when I took the flowers out of the die, I saw the print on there! lol I almost threw the pieces away but then I thought, I should just use these for fun! I probably could never do this on purpose and like it! lol
It really wasn’t hard because the pieces are grouped well! Here’s a picture of what the dies look like and then three pictures of the cuts. I did cut the two floral dies twice but you don’t need to.
I went by the picture on the package on how to put the flowers together and how to arrange them on the card. Most are just two pieces!
I did some inking with brushes on the pail and then some black spattering. Inking on the leaves also.
I colored the flowers with Copics but you could use any medium.
I used a little of my favorite thin mounting tape on the main flowers for the arrangement.
Then I just cut a black cardstock panel 4 inches x 5 ¼ inches and using my score-pal, scored all fours sides in ¼ inch. I love how the pail and flowers stand out against black!
OH, I didn’t have room for a big sentiment even though I wanted to use one. I used one of the Happy Birthday Foil Greetings Black Tabs.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope this card makes you smile and inspires you to make something too!

Here’s the products I used to make this card…tap/click the abbreviations to see the product.
(I hope these links work. I just spent an hour trying to do this. They are changing affiliate websites and making us jump through all kinds of hoops and it feels like such a waste of time. Let me know if you appreciate having the links like this because it takes so much time and I always wonder if it’s worth it!)
