Hi everyone! An Autumn card to share today. Colorbook therapy with stamping and pencils.

I die cut the frame in Kraft card-stock, colored the leaves and inserted them back in the frame from the back and used Scotch mounting tape strips/cut to fit, to hold the leaves in place.

She’s so cute! Yes, I did change her eyes a bit because I was outlining them with black after coloring and didn’t stay on the line, so I had to ‘fix’ them. I did glitter her wings with some glitter pen.

Don’t you love the acorn house? Tiny houses are all the rage! I could never live in one! eek! This set is so fun! I love it!

I inked the edges of everything with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and the mini ink blending tool.

I love how the leaves in the stamp and die sets match the Brilliant Leaf Frame die. So many possibilities! The Leaf Frame die is available now and the stamp and die sets are coming soon in the September release…arriving in stores Friday or this weekend! yay!

Memory Box Beautiful Chancery Snowflake dies..

Hello everyone! I love die cutting like this! Remember my wreath card HERE?! I think I need to make it up in Christmas colors too! lol

Such a pretty way to send a festive card!

Here’s what these dies look like cut normally…

I used the Outline to cut the white top panel and the turquoise glitter card-stock. I die cut the Chancery Snowflake in gold glitter card-stock and glued it on top of the turquoise outline die cut.

The top white panel is cut with the new Wrapped Stitch Rectangles die too…the largest one is 4 ¼ in. x 5 ½ in. I used 3mm thick mounting strips that I made with 3 mm white foam and scor tape, cut into strips.

TIP: If you own a MISTI, you can take the black foam out of it, put your card base in the bottom corner, then put your top panel on top. Using the MISTI corner helps get that top panel lined up and on straight! yay!

I used the new Brush Merry Christmas die for the sentiment. Die cut 2 times in white and the top layer in white glitter card-stock. Glued together with Lineco liquid glue in the little Ultrafine glue bottles with the pins in the top. So far I like them! Links below.

Some baby size turquoise gems and that’s it for this card! I want to think of some more things to do with this snowflake duo!

SSS STAMPtember Carol Singers card…

Rockin’ the carols this morning cardmakers! lol This cute trio is from the new set for STAMPtember from Simon Says Stamp. Oh what fun!

I stamped with the new Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and Memento Tuxedo Black ink, cut them out with the Scan and Cut 350 then colored them with Copic Sketch Markers. The kitty is the YR20 series… the bear is the E40 series and the bunny the T gray series. The bear’s jeans are the B90’s, his sweater is R46 and R89, the sweater trim is BG45 and 49 and the green in the sweater is YG03 and 17. The bunny’s scarf is the YG0 series and the coat is R46 and R89 again. The kitty’s dress is the YG0 series too. The birdie is BG45 and 49 again.

The sky is Distress Oxide Salty Ocean applied with the mini ink blending tool and spattered with some water drops that I heat set with the heat tool. I didn’t dab up the water.

The sentiment is from the same set. I stamped with the TH platform using Versafine Black Onyx ink.

The snowy background pieces are die cut with the SSS Stitched Slopes and Hills dies.

I trimmed the background and the snow borders to 4 in. x 5 ¼ in., adhered the sky and back border flat to the card base and mounted the front snow border with 3L mounting squares. The characters are mounted with foam squares also. The bunny with thin ones, the bear and kitty with regular ones.

Then I stamped on the music notes using an acrylic block. I still need to put a sentiment inside. I always procrastinate stamping the inside. ugh. I’m always sorry when I go to sending the cards out too! lol

I’m hoping to spend the day making cards! Lots of NEW from Memory Box/poppystamps and NEW from Printworks too!

poppystamps Rudolph Collage, Greenery Bundle and a tip…

Hi everyone! Have you seen this Rudolph Collage die yet? What did you think of when you saw it? Well, first thing I thought was ‘thumbprint’! So that’s what I did. I used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink to print my thumb.

I die cut in white, kept the circles and colored them with Copic Sketch Markers and coated them with Ranger Glossy Accents.

His glittery red nose is a glitter dome…linked below. I die cut a kraft color circle for behind and inked it with Distress Oxide inks, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain and the ink blending tool.

Merry and Bright are from the Christmas Greetings stamp set. I did stamp surgery, they go right back together. : ) Inked, stamped with the MISTI and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I die cut the Ava Snowflakes and Greenery Bundle in white card-stock. I colored the Greenery Bundle with Copic Sketch Markers and yes, I remembered to take a picture of the back to show how I placed the foam mounting squares! This is how I hold the pieces in place.

Two boy birthday cards…

Hi everyone! How’s your end of Summer going? I keep getting sidetracked! lol Trying to make more room here and there and clearing out stuff but really not ending up with that much more room! Why?! I think I’m pretty good at it! lol Oh well….I’ll keep trying.

And the other thing…how come if you use one scrap it seems like two more appear! lol

This is Corrin’s birthday card for this year… He turned 8 years old! and yes, he is a cute blonde…that Summer bleached blonde funky hair cut kind of boy, concerned about the frogs etc. lol

I linked up to this stamp below but it’s discontinued…sorry about that but I have to use my stash too and I have to show you anyway cuz it’s a cute card! lol

I stamped him with Tuxedo Black ink, colored him with Copic Sketch Markers and cut him out by hand but hey, I got a really good deal on a Scan n Cut 350 machine and I really like it you guys!!! Shirley has been telling me about it and you know how we influence each other!!! Thank you Shirley! lol So next time, I’m cutting these bad boys and anything else I don’t have the dies for, with this new toy! I cut out some digital images and the granddaughters cut out some hand drawn images with it. Gena’s clouds were super cute!

ok – back to birthday cards…

This is Henry’s birthday card for this year…he turned 11!!! Doesn’t seem possible! He loves games! He’s great driving the gator around too, mowing the lawn and loves to read.

Shoot me now! lol This is another die set that is discontinued and so is the stamp set. boo. The die set is called Game Controller and the stamp set is called Level Up, both by My Favorite Things…so don’t be mad at me! lol

I saw a card made up when I googled the stamp name, I loved it so I made it very similar to Elaine’s! Thank you Elaine for the inspiration!

Both boys liked their cards! yay! June and July are both big birthday months for our family…September we have 3 so a few weeks break from birthday cards!

Although, I made a card, copied myself, that a friend requested for her aunt’s 90th birthday. She started dairy farming when she was 50 yrs old! Click on over to my Instagram to see a super short video of it. I put the tractor on a wobble this time. Guaranteed to make you smile!
