Memory Box Grand Maple Frame Card…

Hi everyone! I’m sneaking in a Fall card today! Last Friday our area stamp club had a card party and this is the card I had the gals make. I have the instructions all typed up if you want to email me, I can email them to you. It was a super fun day…there were 12 of us. I still need to finish a couple of the cards!

This really isn’t complicated to make at all, you just have to remember to put the glue in the right places! Ask me how I know! lol

The NEW Memory Box Grand Maple Frame die is gorgeous! I love how it made up in this Circle Gatefold Type card…kind of interactive…

I die cut the center leaf/circle die in 110# Neenah Solar White cardstock and blended on 3 Distress Oxide ink pad colors, Forest Moss, Ripe Persimmon and Wild Honey. I tried using watercolor paper for this but the spatters seemed to spread too much on it so I went back to regular cardstock. The spatters are a drop of Gathered Twigs regular Distress ink mixed with a few drops of water and spattered on with a paintbrush.

Adhere the leaf/circle to a matching size Circle Basics die cut from coordinating green cardstock.

The card base is a 4 ¼ in. x 8 ½ in., scored at 2 ⅛ in. in from the length ends. Fold on the scores and crease well.

Cut two of the Frame die and sandwich them in the left ‘gate’ of the card with liquid glue.

Adhere the finished leaf/circle to the right ‘gate’ of the card.

On the inside I stamped two sentiment stamps from the poppystamps Autumn Fairies stamp set using Ranger Archival Black ink and the MISTI stamping tool.

This card brought back memories. Remember years ago when Magenta came out with all the circle and square frame stamps? We were head over heels for them! There were several different folds we did with those stamps and this fold was one. Such a fun presentation!

Memory Box Cottage Gate Frame and Holiday Lamp Post Card…

I’m back today with a Christmas card that is most welcoming! This NEW Cottage Gate Frame is so pretty! This is my second card using this die, the first one was Fall several posts back.

I love how the lamp post die fits right there in front of it too!

I used the tips of the branches from the NEW Pine Wreath die and the tips of curved holly branch from the NEW Elegant Holy Double Frame die. I die cut them in Neenah 110# Solar White cardstock and colored with Copic Sketch markers. I just love how it turned out with the little ribbon bow! Totally charmed me!

The sentiment is from the NEW Typewriter Holiday Elements stamp set. I stamped it with Ranger Archival Black ink using the MISTI stamping tool. I’m anxious to use the big background stamp that comes in the set soon. It measures 5 ⅜ x 5 ⅜ inches. FUN!

The Cottage Gate Circle is popped up with thin Scotch mounting tape. I used a die cut circle from the Circle Basics die set to back the Cottage Gate Circle. It will go through the mail easily… it’s a 4 ½ inch square card but I’ll mail it in an A6 size envelope. I might change my mind though and do square (I think I have the right postage stamps). lol I forget the plan sometimes. ugh

poppystamps Mod Poinsettias CAS Card…

Happy Saturday everyone! I’m having a lazy day here…but I did manage to get stuff put away after our stamp club card party yesterday! yay! Ready to start again! In the meantime I still have cards to share…so I’ll post some pictures of this one today!

I always love poinsettias but paired with beautiful sentiment stamps and black…swoon!

This is poppystamps NEW Mod Poinsettias and Memory Box NEW Bold Christmas Greetings stamp set…when I saw it, well, I knew I had to have it!

All this white space! oh my! So simply but it does pack a punch doesn’t it! lol

I colored the poinsettias with Copic Sketch Markers – R20, 43 and a teeny bit of 46. I do love R46… I want them to add more in the R40’s!

Oh, I better not forget…the holly branch is from the NEW Memory Box Elegant Holly Double Frame! I’m going to end up using the two branches from this set more than the frames! Remember the wreath I made with the curvy one several posts back? So much potential in that die!

Die cut in white and colored again… I think the greens are G94 with a little bit of G99 in the veins.

One more picture just because I have it and that doily! haha

It was fun to use one of the smaller Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Rectangles set too! It perfectly frames the floral piece.

poppystamps Poinsettia Delights and Outline Joy Card…

Hi everyone! I wish that was my truck IRL! So cute…there’s a Christmas tree in the bed. I found that at Menards last year in their Christmas scene decoration section of the store.

The card! This is one of the poinsettia cards that I told you last week that I had to get finished! One more to go! Well probably more than one but another one that is already started.

I stamped the images from this NEW poppystamps Poinsettia Delights stamp set and heat embossed them with white powder on Kraft cardstock. Then I watercolored them with Tombow Dual Brush markers and Stampin Up’s Real Red Marker.

I die cut the NEW poppystamps Joy Outline die in woodgrain paper and black cardstock, then inked the edges of both with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and the mini ink blending tool.

I tied on this cotton cord… it’s from the grocery store! It was so fun to buy something for stamping at the grocery store! lol

I roughed up the edges of the pattern papers with the Tim Holtz Distresser tool, then inked around with Gathered Twigs too… love that color!

This ended up being an A7 size card. 5 inches x 7 inches.

Simon Says Stamp Fun and Festive October Release…

Are you excited as we get closer and closer to a FUN & FESTIVE Christmas? I am! I love this time of year for making stuff! I love that MOD Tree background stamp… the bear and the bunny… so cute!

Simon Says Stamp sent me this cute little snowflake to play with for the release. It’s called the Kadyn Snowflake. It’s one inch in diameter! I was like, what am I going to do with it?! lol Put on your thinking cap Pam! So the challenge was on… looking through my SSS stash I came to this awesome stamp set from last year that I hadn’t used yet and what do you think my brain landed on? yep, the smaller elements in the set, great for wreath building! So here’s what I came up with!

The name of the stamp set is Yuletide Holiday and it’s in the store HERE! The sentiment is from this stamp set too! I used the wreath builder template and Lawn Fawn inks. A little white gel pen in the poinsettia centers. Very fun! I stapled on the NEW snowflake with the Tiny Attacher.

It’s been raining dogs and cats here for days and nights. I feel like a blob of humidity! lol So thankful I can be in the house stamping, thinking about snow and Christmas! haha Staying warm and dry!
