NEW poppystamps Harvest Oval Frame and Fanciful Fall Leaves Card…

Hi everyone! Are you thinking of Fall colors these days? Is this you? There’s something about every season that I love but Christmas is my fave. I truly miss the Summer nights when it’s light until almost ten though!

I started with a die cut A2 size piece of Canson Bristol from their orange pad. Using ink blending brushes and regular Distress Ink pads I started with Peeled Paint at the bottom, added a little Forest Moss, then moved to Spiced Marmalade and Rusty Hinge, then the top is Wild Honey!

Yes there is a pattern. I took an old Memory Box stencil, Raymelle #88541, but any stencil would work, laid it over my inked panel and with a wet paper towel I dabbed off the color through the stencil. I LOVE it! I kept it very subtle…didn’t take off much ink really.

I die cut the NEW Harvest Oval Frame four times from natural color cardstock and glued them together instead of using foam tape this time. Glued them directly to the inked card panel

I die cut the leaves and acorns from the NEW Fanciful Fall Leaves die in the same Bristol cardstock and inked with the same ink pads that I did the card panel.

I forgot to say that I heat set the ink blended panel with my heat tool and heat embossed the sentiment with Ranger Super Fine Gold embossing powder before I glued on the oval.

The sentiment is from the Memory Box Harvest Love and Kindness clear stamp set. I inked it with Black pigment ink because I get a sharper image using black then using clear ink, in the MISTI so I could do it over and over a few times so I get a good coating but I don’t squish it to death when I’m stamping it. I have a press tool that our grandson 3D printed for me… I really like having it. I know there are several out there on the market.

I think that’s it! This would be an easy card to make multiples of.

Memory Box NEW Halloween/Fall Release!

BOO! aka Hello! Time to get inky for Fall! Sharing three projects I made with the NEW Memory Box release!

I’ll start with this cute BOO to YOU! The Fancy Gate Globe is NEW. I paired it with the Snowglobe Backer die to make this hanging or it stands too, tag.

The ghosts are from the NEW Ghosts in the Forest die set and the sentiment is the NEW Boo Posh Script! So cute!

I inked a background piece I cut with the Nested Globes die set and inked with purple inks and an ink blending brush. (it’s a brighter purple IRL)

This was a quick tag to make!

Next up is an A2 size card I made with the NEW Ghosts in the Forest die set.

I die cut the scene out of Memory Box’s black glossy cardstock and the ghosts out of white glossy cardstock. I love how it looks IRL.

I inked an A2 size panel for the back with oranges and purples and spattered water, white paint and black paint on to it.

I added the NEW Rickety House die cut in the same glossy black cardstock. For the windows, I die cut the house in white and left the windows in the cut, colored them with a Copic yellow marker, then glued the white to the back of the black house.

I used the NEW Happy Halloween Posh Script die for the sentiment. Die cut in black glossy and an orange from my scraps.

Not really spooky but sure is cute!

Next up is the NEW Creepy Cabin die! This one is really CAS and probably took me the longest because I couldn’t decide whether to color it or not! lol In the end, leaving it white won out.

It’s not so creepy anyway! haha

I inked a purple-ish background, cut everything in white.

I used the Wooded Glen Collage die from a previous release for the top layer. Then a few pumpkins I got inky from the Pile of Pumpkins die. The stems I colored with a Copic marker.

Layered them up with that thin thin foam mounting tape I like.

Oh, I stamped Hello from the Halloween Pumpkin clear stamp set from a previous release.

This card is 5 ½ inches square. A nice size… I like it!

Spellbinders Blooming Tree Glimmer Hot Foil Plate and Die Set Card…

Hi everyone! I’m feeling festive on this second Friday of August already! This is such a pretty hot foil plate set! Easy and fast to add some touches of color too!

I used the Plaid Tidings Background Glimmer Hot Foil Plate on the top layer. While I was deciding what I was going to do for this card, I also just embossed this plate through my machine… it worked great!

After I foiled the Plaid, I die cut one of the Essential Arches Dies in the panel. I used mounting tape to raise it up on the cardbase.

I hot foiled a sentiment from the Christmas Magic Glimmer Hot Foil Plate set. I haven’t tried embossing these yet but I want to. I hope it works!

The smallest die in the Precision Layering Mini Slimline B die set works perfect for cutting out these sentiments! YAY!

A2 size card…one more for the stash!

Spellbinders Ice Skate Christmas Wishes Card…

Hello! Sharing some icy Christmas wishes today! I know, I know… I don’t wanna think about that yet either! It’s cooled off a little here but still…humidity means the corn is growing or drying out I guess.

I loved ice skating when I was growing up. There was a park in the city that closed a street for sledding and made a pond for ice skating. My dad would take us a lot during the Winter…so fun!

I die cut the NEW Ice Skate Etched die from Spellbinders in white cardstock two times. In a woodgrain pattern paper for the sole and in silver cardstock for the blades.

I have a bunch of ¼ in. grosgrain ribbon but none in white. boo. I used the tan and tried not to sweat it! lol

I used one of the branches from the NEW Winter Evergreen Foliage die set, die cut it 4 times, added some white acrylic molding paste and Memory Box Fairy Sugar Dewdrop liquid glitter glue on the tips of the branches.

Christmas Wishes is from the New Mix and Match Holiday Greetings die set. I cut it in gold glitter cardstock and white cardstock, glued them together for a little more thickness, then glued directly to the cardbase.

I used the Kaleidoscope Snowflake set again for the three snowflakes. (I used them on the Winter Mailbox a couple posts back)

Almost done but missing that pop of red so I had to cut some ornament balls from the NEW More Holiday Decorations die set. Then I was happy and glued my 5×7 panel to an A7 size white cardbase.

Die cutting and gluing again! I need to stamp something! lol
