Two fun & festive cards to share with you today! I love the ‘wintry’ feel of both of them! Freezin’ season! hehe
I made a watercolor background with Distress Ink refills…Faded Jeans and Chipped Sapphire. Spattered on some water and Sparkle Shimmer Spray.
I die cut the Simple Evergreen Frame, Cascade Evergreen Frame, Mountain Evergreen in white card-stock and Home for the Holidays in metallic gold card-stock and glued them, with liquid glue to the card-base in that order. I checked the frame dies to make sure they were still available but didn’t check the Mountain Evergreen die. ugh. So I’m linking you to the Marvelous Pine die in the links below. I think it will be pretty on this card too!
After everything was glued on, I added some glitter domes. I link you to the large one I used on the bottom snowflake but I don’t have a source for the small ones anymore. You could use small pearls and coat them with Nuvo Snowfall drops…linked them up below.

I couldn’t resist making a Clean and Simple card with this Snowman Heart Collage die. Sometimes clean makes such a wonderful statement! lol
I die cut the top panel with the largest Wrapped Stitch Rectangle die, then die cut the Snowman Heart Collage die in the panel. I used 3M thin ¾ inch. mounting tape to mount this panel to my card-base after I wrapped it with a piece of kraft color twine.
I stamped the panel with a sentiment from the Believe in the Magic stamp set using the MISTI!
The two little holly leaves are from the Holly Collage die. Die cut in white card, colored with Copic Sketch Markers and mounted to the panel with little pieces of mounting tape.
oh yes, the little heart is part of the Snowman Collage die too. It comes with hat, scarf, carrot nose and buttons dies.

HLS November CAS Challenge – Christmas
Well, that’s it for today… I have more to blog, it’s just been kinda crazy around here! eek! Yesterday the city cut down 3 of our trees in the parking…we live on a corner. Our poor house feels naked. Now to figure out new trees. Found out this morning they have a list of approved trees. Course what we wanted isn’t approved right now. Insert head banging person. It was so upsetting to see those trees go. Our house is over 100 yrs old and new trees look so funny but we will plant the biggest ones we can afford! To bad I can’t just put up paper trees! lol
Thanks for stopping by today! Here’s a link to listen to Christmas music on your computer! http://www1.cbn.com/radio/christmas I’m enjoying it! Take care!

Sweet! As always.
These are perfect, as always! It’s so cold, damp, and windy here, that it’s finally feeling like wintery weather. Love the trees on the first card, and that wee snowman is a little darling! Thanks for the smiles. Sure hope you find some big trees! You’d think with your 100 year old house, that you’d fall into a historical zone or something, and they would not be able to cut down your trees. Sigh…I’m sad for you, dear friend. Thanks for the music link! Wish I had more internet time so I could listen! I’m stuck with CD’s 🙂 Have a good evening, and keep sharing your masterpieces with us!
Both of your cards are little masterpieces… that clean snowman surely does make a statement in my heart, Pam… more please! I never tire of your cards! xx
