Hi everyone! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas Season! We did!
Winter cards to share today but one is Christmas. I had good intentions of getting everything posted before but that fell through! I still want to show you though! lol
Here’s a card I made for one of our son in laws…birthday… it was late too! waaahhh But, I love it!
October Afternoon Washi tape, the Under the Tree collection.
Memory Box Large Winter Sled cut three times in woodgrain, red and silver cardstocks and hemp added for the rope.
Memory Box Dashing Through the Snow for the snow hills.
Memory Box Beaded Background embossed instead of die cut in the background.
and the cute background sledding die is from Cottage Cutz.
It’s snowing here today! Frosty goodness. hehe…since I don’t have to go out in it!
A Christmas card…I saw a gal’s one layer card and I just couldn’t resist giving it a try! Now, since I waited to post, I can’t remember who it was. She was a winner in a challenge and now I can’t find it! If you know who it is, let me know and I’ll link to her. *sigh* FOUND HER! My friend Annette emailed me her name! YAY! HERE is Julie’s card!
Santa and the sentiment are from an old Inkadinkado set (they show it in stock at Michaels but you have to buy two! Strange. At least you can see the picture and know what to look for if you want the set. The trees are from Embossing Arts. Embossing Arts is owned by I Brake For Stamps now if you want to find them. I have used this stamp so many times over the years. You can tell I was hurrying again… sloppy inking. I didn’t send this one to anyone! I still love it though. It was fun!
I added Frosted Lace Stickles to the trees…cuz..it’s snowing! I try other stickles but I always come back to Frosted Lace.
Oh no! I can’t remember what color Distress Ink I used! Blue Jeans and Chipped Sapphire??? I don’t know! Maybe if we find the gal I CASed…she might’ve used the same colors! lol
I was going to post pictures of the gift tags I made but I’m afraid this is already toooo long and I still have another card to take a picture of! HELP! lol I’ll be back with those pictures tomorrow.
THANK YOU all for making my Christmas merry and bright! Smiling here and so thankful!
Pam both cards are wonderful, and I saw no evidence of sloppy inking with your gorgeous Christmas snow scene
Almost bought that C/Cutz die on sale yesterday, but when I checked all that was in my cart, realized I had to do some severe deleting to get the total cost down to a reasonable amount, even at 50% off. It truly looks so great on the card you’ve done, and the debossed snow looks marvelous. Frosted lace stickles is a great standby…and looks very icy on your trees. Enjoy your snow, glad you don’t have to get out in it. Happy New Year. TFS & Hugs.
Your cards are wonderful! I’d love to know where Mary found the border die for 50% off! TFS
Hi, Pam!
Love the sled one especially! Always like white on white!
Carol Mc
Love both of them!!!!!
Love both cards! That sled looks so real. And I think I need a sleigh stamp….
Love, love, Love these cards. The sled card is so darling with the little winter scene behind. Well done.
You? Sloppy inking? Not a chance! Beautiful cards, Pam, and can’t wait to see your tags! Hope your Christmas was delightfully chaotic!!! Hugs…
Both cards are totally awesome – love the birthday card – and one layer cards are very challenging for me – but you have done a great job with it. Love the classic scene with Santa flying with his reindeer. Hope you had a great Christmas and look forward to seeing many many more of your great creations in 2016.
i love both of these cards! i especially love the sled and the washi tape sentiment! i could use something like that to ensure straight sentiments. every time i visit i think i add something to my wish list. 🙂 and i don’t see any sloppy inking anywhere! i’m sure the recipient would love this card too.
happy 2016!
That sled is AMAZING, so realistic!! Love the blue card too, fabulous scene building!!
You can never have enough winter cards !!! They are both gorgeous !!!
Love these. You make magic!\
Love both your cards, I so like the sledding scene in the background and your sled is terrific!! Love your one layer card, the addition of the trees is so pretty with it!
Oh my these are both so beautiful!! The sled on the first one is amazing with the wood grained texture, and that snowy background is stunning! The second one WOW! Your ink blending and winter scene is beyond gorgeous! Really lovely work on both of these! So glad you did share 🙂
Pam, the detail on that sled is amazing, but not surprising. Everything you do is immaculate. I love both of these cards (minus the falling snow. Just kidding). I love both of these cards.
Ditto what Kay said! These are both great but I’d like to case that winter scene with the trees in the snow and Santa with his sled. Very awesome!!
Love them both. I’d love a video on the Santa card. It’s gorgeous.
Loving both cards Pam…but that sled is just perfection!! With the pull rope – oh so many memories!! Love them Pam!!
Your sled looks so real Pam and your second card is AMAZING! Your work is gorgeous, your sky is beautiful! Where’s the sloppy inking??? This card is perfection! Lovelovelove!!! I’m sure you had a wonderful Christmas. Wishing you a fabulous and Happy New Year as well! Hugs!
Okay, Pam, you have been secretly stamping and making those beautiful cards and tags! WOW! you have been a busy lady. Love everything you have shared and want to get that sled made, too. Love the silver sled and wood grain slats on it. Perfection!!! Made a winter scene like yours in a class at our local stamp store. Love the look. Happy New Year to you, too. Sure hope you are not affected by the rising rivers in Iowa. Missouri looks awful!!
Oh what great cards! Love them both! I never get tired of seeing Christmas cards!
Yeah Pam – it’s me – I here I sit looking and drooling over your makes – I don’t know how to emboss using a cutting die but I guess there might be tutorials on youtube. I love those kids sledding down the hill. I would give just about anything to be able to attend one of your classes. What a hoot that would be and then you would see for yourself just how ditsy I am!!!
