CAS Christmas cards…Taylored Expressions and poppystamps

Pam Sparks TE Nativity

Just a couple more Christmas cards to share today.  I purchased this A Winter View stamp set last year at Taylored Expressions Stamp Joy.  I was determined to use it this year! lol

I paired it with the poppystamps Small Madison Window.

The sentiment is from TE In and Out Christmas stamp set.  I love this set… I used it a lot this Christmas.

Then for our stamp club’s Christmas party, I had the gals make this card…

I used Taylored Expressions Sweater Weather Cutting Plate die for the background, then poppystamps Blooming Poinsettia die for the flower.  I think this is one of my favorite poinsettias.

One poppystamps Berry Sprig die that I put Ranger White enamel Accents on the berries, cut it in half and placed under the poinsettia.

Then the poppystamps Pine Boughs die here and there too!

Twine at the top and it was done… oh, I did put sentiments inside from the same set I used on the first card.

I finally started using the MISTI for the insides… so much happier then!  : )

All the joys of the season to you!  As we’re rushing from this to that! hohoho  I told Tim last night, we needed to drive around the city and look at Christmas lights!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Oh these are both so lovely! The nativity in the window was a wonderful idea and turned out just gorgeous! I love that woodgrain paper! The poinsettia with the sweater weather background is beautiful too! Amazing work as always! Have fun looking at lights! We’re going to do that this week too! 🙂

  2. I like your clever idea for the nativity. I love the sweater background card you had us do.
Just had to hold onto it and not send it out…

  3. Loving the sweater background – and the nativity through the window!! Absolutely wonderful and beautiful Christmas cards Pam!!!

  4. I love both of these cards too!!! It’s hard to come up with manger scene cards-and I never thought of through the window!!

  5. I am SO in love with both of these cards! The first is so traditional & perfect for reminding us what the celebration is REALLY about! And the second…there you go again! Now I just have to have that sweater die! You are such an enabler! ha ha

  6. LOVE THE POINSETTIA ONE WITH THE SWEATER BACKGROUND (YOU SENT ME FOR CHRISTMAS)!! SO VERY PRETTY. THANKS SO MUCH!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR

  7. Love both of these cards – the manager scene is awesome and I know the girls had to be happy with the Poinsettia and sweater bg. I’m just “thinking” about a Misti. Quote “thinking”. A couple of my crafting buds have one so I am going to try theirs out first. Merry Christmas

  8. I’m thinking Misti, too…just finished 160 handmade cards…would have been nice to have? Beautiful cards, my friend! Thanks for sharing. Hope you got out to see some lights! We haven’t done that yet either. Hugs!

  9. Two great cards. I have several of the dies that you used and I agree about the poinsettia…I’ve used that set a lot. Nice sizes in that set. I’ve also had the Madison window and never get tired of using that one with the window box and shutters.

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  10. Wish I could have been at the club Christmas party so I could have made the poinsettia card. Both cards are gorgeous !!!

  11. What great card designs Pam, both so beautiful! Love the wood grains on the first with the beautiful nativity scene and the cutting plate made the perfect background for your poinsettias! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas Pam!!!
