Memory Box and Poppystamps Christmas in the City…

PamSparksCityGlobeTake2.700

I know… Christmas again?!!!  yes… tomorrow… tomorrow won’t be Christmas cards!!!  I hope! lol

You have to love these mini snowmen though!  So cute to tuck in a scene!

Can you see them?  One in front of the NEW Memory Box City Globe stamp, hatless… brrrrr …then two out front.  I used the Poppystamps Pine Border die cut in MB Dill cardstock too.  I cut off a few trees and placed them with the hatless snowman and then a piece out front with the two more.  (three different hats and four snowmen on the die)

The City Globe stamp is inked with black pigment ink and clear embossed, behind a panel with a circle cut out of it, then two cuts of the NEW MB Fabulous Holly Wreath die glued on the circle panel.

It’s Christmas Time in the City is a NEW sentiment stamp from MB and comes with a little holly stamp on the end of it.  I inked the sentiment with Versafine Black ink and the holly with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copics and added Christmas Red Stickles to the berries.

Red twine and Red Glitter Domes or Red Pearls to finish it off!  Oh, wouldn’t a jingle bell be cute tied on the bow?!!!  An A-2 size card, just right for mailing!  Use a piece of that really thin foam like packaging sheet over the front, inside the envelope, to help keep the envelope from puncturing while going through the postal machines.

I love the freshness of this card… the green against the white… the candy cane sweetness from the twine.  Love this new stamp… it’s great with the MB snow globe dies too!

Happy Tuesday and I’m off to get ready for tomorrow’s blog skip with Perfect Paper Crafting and Operation Write Home.  See you tomorrow!  Thanks for Looking!  ‘preciate it!  Have a good day!

  1. I knew it — you are a professional paper artist! And although you color so very well, you do not need to color because you can do everything you need to using die cuts!!! you clever lady!

  2. Wow….your details are phenomenal. So impressive. The depth you have given your card is unreal. It is just like looking in to a real city. A MA ZING !!! The pine border is fabulous!!! Thank you for sharing with us.

  3. Pam, this is so awesome! Love the little city scene that you’ve created, dear friend. Even though it has been in the 80’s here today, and the top’s been down on the little black car, it’s fun to see your holiday magic pop up in my inbox! Hugs…

  4. i think I have to agree about the professional paper artist! ha ha You are definitely not the average crafter! I’m convinced you could cut cartoons out of the newspaper & make a prize winning card. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next!

  5. Lovely cards! I especially like the one with the little girl and the dog! Great stamp. The Christmas in the city is great too. Love that wreath!
