Memory Box NEW Snowglobe Dies and Sales!

Hi everyone!  I’m so happy to start sharing Christmas creations with the NEW Memory Box and poppystamps release!!!

I love snowglobes and I have 4 ready to share.  I was going to put them all in one post but I got to thinking it might be confusing so I think I’ll do them one at a time.  Rest assured, you will want all four of the dies though. hehe

I want to escape to here! The roaring fire, the peaceful snowfall… my soul says yes!

The blog post right before this one, I posted a video on how these dies go together…click HOME and scroll down to see the video in the previous post.  Very easy to put together!

Here’s how I put this together…

*die cut the Snowglobe Backer die in heavy white cardstock

*die cut the Snowmen Snowglobe in heavy white and TE Blue Corn cardstock (back layer)

*stamp and heat emboss in white embossing powder the Birch Press Design Celestial Waves stamp that looks like snow on the Blue Corn sky, then inlay the sky into the white Snowmen background die cut

*die cut the Radiant Snowglobe die in heavy white cardstock, I just used the frame part (middle layer)

*die cut the Cabin Snowglobe die in heavy white cardstock (top layer)

*die cut the cabin from TE Toffee cardstock and the snow from Memory Box glitter cardstock pad

*die cut the smoke from a piece of vellum

*hand cut a square of vellum to go behind the cabin and color it yellow on the backside to mimic light in the windows of the cabin

*I die cut the cabin in TE Cherry Pop to get the door and the chimney

*I die cut Santa and his reindeer in shiny black cardstock, if you don’t have that, you could heat emboss it with black embossing powder or color it with a black glaze pen or cover it with glossy accents to get a shiny die cut

I use a piece of  ⅝  inch scor-tape on the inside bottom of the Snowglobe Backer die cut. That holds each layer in place.

I’m so happy with how this turned out!  Perfect little gift, or tag or I can see these all over the Christmas tree as ornaments!

Thank you for clicking over and I’ll be back with the other three I’ve made so far.  ❤

Memory Box Sunflower Wreath Card…

Happy Friday! Switcheroo today!  Going country!  Some fun watercoloring with Distress Ink Refills again and Memory Box stamps on watercolor paper. (Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss, Vintage Photo)

This card was easier to photograph so it’s a picture heavy post today. lol

I stamped the Sunflower Wreath stamp on watercolor paper and die cut it with the coordinating die. Then started painting.  I don’t know about you but I never finish in one sitting.  I lost track of how many times I sat and colored on it.  Stretch out the pleasure I guess! lol

I stamped poppystamps Picnic Plaid stamp in blue on white cardstock and inked on gathered twigs distress ink around the outside edges of the panel.

I used 3M mounting tape to adhere the wreath to the picnic plaid panel.

I tied some Lawn Fawn cord around the panel and then adhered the panel to the A2 cardbase with more mounting tape.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sunflower Wreath stamp set with Versamark ink on a piece of Taylored Expressions Oreo cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I love TE Oreo for white embossing on black cardstock!

My mother in law loved sunflowers and had tons of sunflower stuff in her kitchen… this card reminds me of her and her Corelleware Sunflower dishes! ❤

That’s the last picture! I tucked the sentiment under the wreath a little bit with mounting tape on the left side and glue on the right side.

Tim and I spent the evening at one of our daughters, watching the grands pick peaches and play.  The boys showing off for us on the zip line and dirt bike…we almost thought we saw neowise but it was too early and just an airplane reflecting off the sun setting! lol  Lots of smiles and happiness. YAY!

Thanks again for stopping by and your comments! Hope you have some cardmaking time this Summer too.  It’s busy I know, going by fast and almost time for Christmas!  Be watching….the 27th!

Memory Box Clementine Border and Celebrate dies…

Hi everyone! My goal this week was to work with Memory Box’s new Glitter cardstock 6×6 pads. For this card I used the NEW Delicate Pastel Glitter Pad.  (my photos don’t do it justice, taking photos took longer than making the card, ugh)

I die cut the new Clementine Border die in two colors but left all the pieces in the bottom color.  The pieces all stayed in… amazing cardstock! The top color is the same as the card panel and the pieces popped out fine. I just glued it over the top of the bottom darker cut.

The new Celebrate die is cut from the darker of the two also (I just used one cut)… really pretty soft color.

I glued the borders on the sides of an A2 size glitter panel, glued the sentiment to a strip of vellum and wrapped it around the panel and glued it on the back.  Then I adhered the panel to an A2 size cardbase.

This card is ready for any celebratory occasion!  Nice and sparkly!

Thank you for clicking over today! A couple more cards to share this week and then be ready because the Christmas Memory Box and poppystamps release is coming the 27th!  I’m so excited!  You are going to LOVE it!

poppystamps Proper Brick House Card…

Hi everyone! I had fun last week playing with some new dies.  I thought, this house needs smoke!  So it turned into a tall Christmas card!

O Holy Night, Starry Burst and Pine Tree Hill dies came out last year in the Christmas releases.  I did use a little bit of sparkle pen in the burst die cut. The Cottage Picket Fence is from this year.

The house and parts are inked with Distress Oxide inks.  I die cut the house again in white and cut out the door and window frames.

I found the stamped sentiment in an old Memory Box set Wintertime Fairies. Linked below too.

This house makes me smile… I grew up in a red brick house.  ❤

Thank you for stopping by today! Talk to you again soon!
