Hi everyone! Here it is a beautiful day in October and I’m inside typing up a blog post! My priorities. lol
I have stamps that need used though, so it’s so easy to keep busy and forget to get a supper plan! oops!
Today I’m using two stamps from the new Spirit of Christmas stamp set and coordinating die set. The Poinsettia and the sentiment.
I stamped the poinsettia, leaves and berries (from the Holiday Greenery stamp set) in Memento Tuxedo Black on Copic X-press it cardstock and colored with Copic Sketch markers. I die cut the poinsettia and cut the leaves and berries by hand, then I colored them. I used the R24 and 27, YG93 and 95, T7 for the shadow.
I cut a x-press cardstock white panel 4 x 5 ¼ inches and stamped some branches from the Winter Greenery stamp set in Olive ink.
I stamped the sentiment from the Spirit of Christmas set in Lawn Fawn Lobster ink. I love this set… the perfect sentiment for the inside is in the set also. “Wishing you a Merry Christmas”. I like how the Copic x-press it cardstock takes the stamp pad ink.
I made an A2 card base from Taylored Expressions Sweet Basil cardstock. Taped on the white panel and mounted the leaves and berries and poinsettia with foam mounting tape.
That’s it… fun to color! Holler if you have any questions!

I know what you mean about stamps needing to be used. Got a bunch of them (plus dies) sitting in my room and, yes, it is so easy to forget everything else and just make cards. But, it’s coffee break time for me and now I get to look at your beautiful card! That’s such a pretty and sort of fun poinsettia stamp. Love the greenery behind it and the sentiment. Someday I’ll catch up…
Beautiful card, Pam, you’re such an inspiration!
