Memory Box Dies, Flower, Stems and More on Three Cards…

Hello!  I have three cards to share today…starting with the tallest and ending with the shortest! lol  For this card I was inspired by a challenge and a way to use the extra flower I had ready. Here’s a link to the challenge…(click on the logo).  I managed to keep it very CAS and complete the optional twist also with only die cuts!  yay! lol

#thank you so much to the AAA Cards blog for choosing my card as a winner!  HERE

I went with the Slimline card size so I could use the NEW Memory Box Slim Diagonal Collage die, the NEW Wildflower Stems die and the NEW Thank You Posh Script.

The flower is cut from watercolor paper and colored with Distress ink refills.  Definitely Clean and Simple!

Next card….

I absolutely love this mini slim line size card… 3 ½ inches by 6 inches.  I don’t know why but I find it charming! lol

I used the Memory Box NEW Lavender Stems,  the greenery from the NEW Daisy Stems and the greenery from the NEW Wildflower Stems.

I die cut from watercolor cardstock and painted with Distress Ink refills again.  I don’t know why I reach for these so much.  I have lots of other watercolor mediums. hehe

I used one of the NEW Memory Box cardstock pads… I love already coordinated paper!  The plaid is from the NEW Memory Box Madras Plaid Blue and Violet 6×6 paper pad.  This pad is so beautiful!  One side has gold foil accents and the back side is plain.  I used the plain this time but wow, the gold sides are so gorgeous!

Sentiments from poppystamps Springtime Fun and Memory Box Big and Little Spring stamp sets.

Next card…

This was my first card with the flowers I cut and painted.  From here they got simpler and taller! lol  This is a regular A2 size card.

Wildflower Stems, Seed Stems, Daisy Stems on top of the Stylish Rectangle Trio die.

Pattern papers from the Memory Box Garden Folly, Christmas Plaid and Garland Stripes and Dots 6×6 paper pads.

The sentiment is from poppystamps Greeting Basics.

Give me a holler if you have any questions!  Thank you for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn Magic Iris Puppy Birthday Card…

Meet Maggie! lol  There’s a new toy poodle at our middle daughter’s house. So I had to make our youngest grandson a cute Magic Iris Maggie card for his 6th birthday in January.  So fun!  Charley loves it!

I used the Memory Box Birdhouse die set for the doghouse because I don’t own the Lawn Fawn birdhouse die.

The dog dish and bone are an old big punch or were they an old Quickutz die…I can’t remember!  I looked through so much stuff to find something that would work! lol

The Lawn Fawn design team is so inspiring!  It’s nice as a card designer/maker not to always have to come up with a new idea!

Here it is closed… pull the arrow tab down and it opens like a camera lens, sorta kinda!  hehe

and a video… it’s bad but gives you an idea of how it works.

Thank you for clicking over again today!  I’ll link the products I used below. ❤

Simon Says Stamp Botanical Split Background Slimline Card…

Hi everyone! Today’s card I’m using the center section of this new stamp from Simon Says Stamp’s latest NEW release ‘Hello Beautiful’. It’s a cool 6×6 background stamp but it splits into three pieces and you can use it all or just parts!

I started with Strathmore Best Watercolor paper pad, the brown one, taped it down, spritzed with water good and dropped in distress ink pad refill inks. Then I used that camera lens cleaner puffer tool.  I think that’s what it is anyway.  To move the inky water around.

Then I dried it with the heat tool.

After it was good and dry, I used the powder tool on it before I heat embossed the stamp in white on the watercolor background.

Then the question was, what to do with it! lol

I wanted to bring in some color, so I picked a light yellow from my stash.

Heat embossed a couple sentiments on vellum from SSS Sending and Wishing stamp set. Trimmed it down, folded it around the watercolor panel, taped it on the back, die cut the label and glued it on.  Nothing complicated at all!

I’ll link up what I used below…hopefully they’re all still available!  Have you tried making slimline cards yet?  What do you think?

Thank you for stopping by!

Memory Box All That Happiness meets poppystamps Woven Basket…

Truth!  and on the inside I used the word ‘hugs’ from the same new Memory Box All That Happiness stamp and die sets.

I’m having fun using the new Memory Box Slim dies too!

I stamped and die cut one of the floral stamps in the set….simple Copic Sketch Marker coloring, the R30’s and YG61 and 63.

I die cut the basket from TE Toffee cardstock then I remembered my new Memory Box cardstock pads and found the perfect green to die cut the berries.  Dies from the new poppystamps Woven Basket Pop Up Easel Set.

A little white glaze pen on the berries…

Some baby pearls…

Popped up on mounting squares…

White heat embossed sentiment on TE black cardstock…

My granddaughter Attie sent me some pictures of her flowers popping up from the bulbs she planted last year.  It’s so fun to have a 17 year old so excited about growing flowers and food!  Her watermelons were the most amazing things ever last year!  Huge and delicious!  Here’s hoping it’s a bumper crop this year! lol

Thank you for stopping by today!  Have a creative weekend if you can!  ❤

Hello Bluebird My Snowman Card…

Hi everyone!  yikes!  I’m thinking today I better get some cards posted I made for grands so far this year!  This might be the last snowman of the season for Iowa! Never know! lol  It snows in April some years.

Anyway… I know you’ll love the cuteness no matter what the season!

It was a good picture day whatever day I took these pictures so I have five pics to share! ❤

I used Hello Bluebird stamps and dies for this card.  I die cut the tree frame in kraft color cardstock…inked the brown trees, inked and then heat embossed the frame area with white embossing powder.

The background snow die is inked with Distress Oxide inks… ugh… I don’t remember the colors though.

I colored with Copic Sketch Markers… the sentiment is from Paper Smooches.

So fun!  I always love making Winter scene cards.  This one is for our first red headed granddaughter that just turned 16 in January! We have two red headed granddaughters and five red headed grandsons!  My husband was a red head and two of our girls are red heads.  ❤

Hope this made you smile and bring back memories!  Thank you so much for stopping by!  I always love hearing from you!
