Hello!!! It’s about time I got a blog post written! Our middle daughter’s birthday was Friday and this was her birthday card… I sat down and colored for a change!
This beautiful image is from Penny Black, Flower Cascade. I purchased it from Starlitstudio.net. It’s out of stock now but Cindy has a ton of other gorgeous Penny Black stamps to stamp and color! An amazing and I mean AMAZING Penny Black sale HERE and FABULOUS new releases HERE and HERE with great prices! It’s out of stock at Simon Says Stamp too. ugh. Hopefully you can find it at your local stamp store if you’re fortunate to have one!
HERE’s another store with Penny Black and a sale going on right now too!
Scrapbook.com is celebrating National Craft Month with a store-wide sale! For 3 days only, take an EXTRA 10% OFF EVERYTHING in the store. Many items are already on sale, so your final prices in the shopping cart will be 10% to 80% OFF. Use coupon CRAFTYDEAL at checkout. Coupon expires on March 8th, 2017 at midnight MST. *Only one coupon code per order. Offer excludes gift certificates. (they have the best price on the big shot HERE – my favorite die cutting machine!)
Back to the card…hehe
I colored with Copic Sketch Markers…the pinks are RV00 and the R80s.
The Happy Birthday die is NEW from Memory Box…I love it! So pretty. You can find it HERE at Starlitstudio.net. Cindy has the newest release in stock too! yay! I don’t have any of them yet but they’re neat.
Linking my birthday card to some challenges…
Penny Black and More – Anything Goes
Seize the Birthday – Birthday theme
Addicted to Stamps and More – Anything Goes
Scrapyland Challenge – Anything Goes with dies they sell (I used Memory Box)
Stamping Sensations – Close to Nature
Cards and More Challenge #9 – Anything Goes with Flowers
I’ve been making Easter cards for Memory Box and poppystamps and hopefully they’ll show up soon on those sites or on the QR code pkg thing. Have you noticed that? Download a QR reader app on your phone and when you scan the code on the envelope a sample card will come up. The Valentine ones do now anyway. Just keep checking back.
Camera update…I’m loving it! whew! Such a big investment and you just have to bite the bullet and do it. I took pictures at our family birthday party with it Saturday night and was pleased with people pictures too! Double whew! lol
It’s good to be back here sharing with you! I truly can’t believe it’s already March, can you?! Thanks for stopping by!
