It’s inevitable where I live though! We had a few flakes earlier in the week! I’ll just stay in and stamp! haha! The challenge for our stamp club swap was to create a Christmas card with non-traditional colors. I made a flakey Christmas card! I love the new Mittens dies from CC Designs Cutters! They are so cute and love the embossing on them too! I used a Hero Arts Holiday Background

So here’s the scoop for Flashback Friday Challenge Blog…**first card you have posted with a window cut into the front of the card** I found this in my Splitcoast Stampers Gallery, I made it for Christmas 2007. yipes, where does the time go! I know I got the idea from someone online but I sure don’t remember where now! If it was you, THANKS! I loved the inspiration! This is not the first card I ever made with a window cut in the front… I’ve been stamping since April of 1994, so it’s impossible to remember that first one! For me that is!!! lol

Today I tried out the new Copic Sketch Marker colors! I do LOVE them! Here’s Brrr Emma gettin’ out from under the weather by wearing her sweet new Winter clothes!
I stamped Brr Emma, with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth card, masked her and stamped the bench, and colored both with Copic Sketch Markers… face – E0000, 000, 00, 01, R20, 21…hair- YR30 (new), 31, 21, 23, E37…scarf, mittens, diamonds – RV63 (new), 66 (new)…earmuffs, belt – BG0000, 000, 53 (new)…sweater & pants – YG61 (new), 63, 67…socks – BG0000, 000, 01…shoes T0, 3, 5 …bench – E21,23 (new), 25, 27, 29. (The green is really not “dingy” in person…not sure why it won’t show up right in the photo except for my photo skills are lacking..boohoo… in other words I don’t know what to change!)
I stamped “under the weather?”, with Versafine Onyx Black ink. The sentiment is from the new Feb. release Amy R. Get Well set… love all the CC Designs sentiment sets!
Martha Stewart around the page punch set..not sure what the teeny snowflake stamp is… unmounted and it’s been on the desk for some time… hmmmm….I stamped it in Broken China distress ink.
I layered Emma up on a bunch of ovals cut with Nestabilities dies. No pattern paper anywhere! lol I did distress the edges with the Tim Holtz distress tool… popped up snowflakes here and there…stickles on the snowflakes.

GREAT SALE at Amuse artstamps.com!!! I ordered these last week and they arrived yesterday and I needed one ATC for stamp club this afternoon so… I knew exactly what I wanted to make!!! I can’t resist making a “scene”! lol This is such a cute boy called Catch a snowflake , he was $4… the winter scene cling stamp was half price, the snow bunny was $2 and the “got snow” sentiment was $3! Stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored with Copic Sketch markers. Boots – W1, 3, 5… Pants – B91, 93, 95, 97… Sweater – YG91, 93, 95, 97… Scarf and hat – E93, 95, 97, 99… Face – E000, 00, 01, 02… House – E43, 44, 47…
We “got snow”! If you got it, you don’t like it.. if you don’t got it, you want it… weather…crazy…lol
