Two CAS Christmas cards…

pam-sparks-ha-nativity-cas

Hi everyone! I have to get some posts in while it’s snowing here on the blog! lol Sharing the two cards I had the gals make at our stamp club Christmas party a couple weeks ago.

I stamped the silhouette image and sentiment from Hero Arts in black multiple times with the MISTI and Versafine Onyx Black ink, then using clear embossing powder I embossed it on a periwinkle color card-stock. The stamp set is, Greatest Gift CL559 if you want to google it.

Then I inked it with Chipped Sapphire Distress ink and an ink blending tool.

The pretty Avery Elle pierced postal frame die cut and mounted with strips of craft foam. I covered both sides of a piece of craft foam with Scor-tape and cut it into strips. Thank you Cindy for that technique! It’s awesome!

Here I used a snowflake background and word from Taylored Expressions and Crafter’s Companion watercolor paper. It’s really white. The holly and berries from Reverse Confetti.

Very easy A2 size and flat for mailing cards!  I hope you’re enjoying this creative and busy season!  It is going by way too fast for me! The tree is up and decorated and some of the other decorative things are out. yay!

oh presents…well…we’re working on it! lol

Take care! Thanks for stopping by today!

P.S. I have one TE Christmas Card class kit left if anyone is interested! I’d love to sell it!  Photo and price on the ‘For Sale’ page, a tab under my blog title.

Memory Box, poppystamps and Day 9…

pam-sparks-snowflake-snowglobe-scene

Hi everyone!  I’m not keeping up the greatest with the ‘daily’ part of the Daily Marker 30 days of coloring challenge but here I am back again…not giving up! lol  I had this all cut out in white but since I needed to color, I did some real basic Copic coloring on the Memory Box and poppystamps die cuts.

Here’s a picture of the parts before I put them together…oh, I did glitter the frame with Hero Arts Prisma glitter and the Glue stamp pad before I put the card together.

and here’s a close up photo…

I’ll link up below to the dies I used… it’s an A2 size card.  It’s pretty and really was fast to make!  YAY!  I need those new Playful Fawn dies, I have them in my cart at SLS! lol  I’ll put a link to those too…they might be really cute in this scene!

Memory Box, poppystamps Festive, Fun and Flat Christmas Cards Class…

pam-sparks-oct-222016-mb-class

Hi card makers! I wanted to share the pictures of the Festive, Fun and Flat Christmas Cards Class I taught at Scrapmania last Saturday afternoon. I tell ‘ya the gals are getting the hang of using my embedding technique with scor-tape!  So fun and such a neat look!  (pull down under the tab under the blog header for a video about it)

Three cards that you can embellish or leave flat for easy mailing but are still beautiful!

Merry Christmas To You Ring die embedded into an A2 size card base. On the back side it looks embossed.

Die cut layers…so pretty with Nuvo Crystal Drops Winter Blizzard to make the snowy scene look cold!  brrrrr

Here I added some dots that I made with the same Nuvo drops.  I made them on a piece of slick paper and then glued them on with Tombow Mono Multi glue. The top photo shows the card without any dots though.

This is a see through card…a 4.25 x 5.5 piece of acetate behind the front card base.

Memory Box Pine Branch Circle, poppystamps House in the Woods, Poinsettia Ribbon and Holiday Poinsettia…

pam-sparks-2-house-in-the-woods-pine-branch-circle-frosted

Welcome to this warm ‘frosted’ wintry scene! Think brown…hehe… the silhouette cut of the poppystamps House in the Woods is dark brown card-stock to match the new pattern paper collection I used here from Kaisercraft, ‘Frosted’.  American Crafts Glitter card-stock again, this time I used Charcoal.

I layered the Memory Box Pine Branch Circle die over the top this time but WOW, there are FIVE new circle dies that can work together layering up for beautiful Winter scene Holiday cards!  Besides the Pine Branch circle, there’s the Deer Family CircleTall Evergreen Circle, Countryside Circle and Tree Branch Circle

I love the poppystamps Poinsettia Ribbon too. I added the medium size cut and the center from the poppystamps Holiday Poinsettia on top of it.

Everything is cut from the ‘Frosted’ Paper collection except for the dark brown House in the Woods die. I embellished with the sentiment sticker from the paper collection too. A little Stardust stickles on the pine branches.

You can see the brown in this close up, too much sun but the color shows!

pam-sparks-house-in-the-woods-poinsettia-close

I will use an A-6 envelope to send this though because I wanted to leave the ribbon cut hanging off the sides this time.

Now, when I look at this photo, I’m thinking it would’ve been fun to have a little stickles on the poinsettia and sentiment banner too! Always thinking of something after the fact! lol

I ordered the new Nuvo White Blizzard Glitter Drops to try as soon as they get here!
