Spellbinders Hello Blooms Stencil and Die Card…

Hello friends and cardmakers!  A super fun card to share with you today!  Have you tried the new stencils like this?   I don’t know why but it’s so satisfying to color in this clean and simple way!  Fast too!

I used Distress Oxide inks, Peacock Feathers, Pine Needles, Abandoned Coral, Mowed Lawn, Rustic Wilderness and Ground Espresso with blending brushes through the stencil.  I cleaned the stencil between colors.

For the background, I ran the A2 size Spellbinders Simply Perfect Florets Embossing Folder through the die cut machine and trimmed it down and matted it with thin mounting tape to an A2 White cardbase.  So cute!  I love this folder and it matches this floral so well!

I LOVE this script hello die that is included with the coordinating die set!  I did it up white on white…pleasing to my eye! lol

I did my coloring through the stencil first but now that I’ve done it once, next time I’m going to die cut a  white panel, keep the die cut in the panel, then do the coloring through the stencil so I can get the margins better.  I had to do a little trimming after I die cut because the white margin was more in a few places.

I used the large Wendy Vecchi Make Art station to hold things in place.

Memory Box Toolbox 3D Embossing Folder Birthday Card…

Hi everyone!  Today I’m sharing a card I made with the NEW Memory Box 3D Toolbox 3D Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies.

It’s so neat that you can die cut, then put the cuts into the folder to get all this detail!

I was inspired by Memory Box Dave’s card HERE.  It’s such a great design I pretty much copied it!

So fun!  Our grandson Rogan’s 9th birthday is today and he’s a great help with work around the house.  Of course boys love tools and knives!

I used the Memory Box Wooden Alpha Dies for his name.

Happy Birthday sentiment is white heat embossed on red with the Memory Box Best Life Typewriter Sentiments. It’s from 2019 and doesn’t look like it’s available anymore.  This would work also…Banner Greetings.

I used some Silver Foil and Glossy Black cardstocks for tool parts and Gathered Twigs Distress ink and the mini ink blending tool to age the Memory Box wood grain cardstock and kraft cardstock.

Everything is adhered with the thin mounting tape that I love, linked below, except for the little red happy birthday sentiment.

This card fits in a #10 business size envelope but it’s not as long as the usual slimline card.  It’s 3 ¾ in.  x  8 ¼ in.

Two Grad Cards with Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club…

Hi cardmakers and friends!  Some fun cards that came together fast.  I was so glad the club kit has birthday and graduation sentiment banners!

A2 size cardbase with a panel on top… die cut all the parts…you even get the cloud dies in the set!  It’s such a good deal for $15!  You can purchase later but the price is $27!

Sign up for the club is happening HERE for a few more days!

One of our grandsons when he was a toddler loved lining up his airplanes like a lot of boys line up cars!  So cute! Now he loves fishing, playing the piano and drums….and swimming and and and! lol  Airplanes always make me remember this about him.

The dies in this kit make lines to follow where the pieces go!  THAT is so great!  Helpful!  Speeds it up!

The words in the banners are such a neat look!

I used my favorite double sided mounting tape to adhere the die cuts to the card.  The clouds are glued flat.

I had a lot of pictures for this first card… second card I only have two. So keep scrolling! lol

Basically the same thing only Slimline size…matte gold and matte silver scrap pieces for the airplane.

I love the clean and simple approach with the dark medium blue sky! So fun!

My daughters needed 7 grad cards so these 2 will go with 5 others I made for them. So fun!  I love it when I get to use my supplies!

Thank you so much for stopping by and before you go I better tell you about the SALE Spellbinders has going on! Some wonderful products to choose from!   So glad we can order online since Hobby Lobby quit carrying them.

Have a good rest of the week!

Pop Up Step Birthday Cottage Cutz Camping Card…

Hi everyone! Do you have memories of camping? Our grandsons keep very busy outdoors!  They love sleeping out and all the things that go along with it!  I have fun making them cards like this.

This is a step card of sorts, not sure what it’s called. It fits in an envelope though! lol

Here’s the back side…

Here’s the inside…

Have you heard of the show Adventure Agents?  Very fun for kids!

Here it is from the side…

Close up of the critters…

All the dies are from Cottage Cutz.

And here’s a video that maybe shows how it works better… be sure to click on one of the frame options to see it large.

Holler if you have any questions!  Confession…I made this in January so I can’t remember everything! ❤

Time for a NEW release from Simon Says Stamp…. Dream Big!

Hi everyone!  Bringing you everything ‘dreamy’ with this release in Summery July!  Check it all out HERE

I received the Tropical Leaf Bunch die to play with.  It’s from Simon Says Stamp but designed by Memory Box!  I love it when I get the designs by MB!

You deserve a break but I don’t mean at Mc Donalds! lol   I’m not a beach person but I’ve probably not been at the right beach to appreciate it!

Here I kept it very CAS (clean and simple).

I die cut a rectangle out of copy paper so I could ink blend an area centerish on the front of my A2 size cardbase.

I blended oxide inks with my blue and brown brushes without putting on more ink because I wanted it very light.

Then I did some splattering with Prize Ribbon and Ground Espresso Distress inks and then a little white acrylic after the ink splatters were dry.

I die cut three of the Tropical Leaf Bunch, glued them together and then directly to the cardbase.

The beach chair is from last months SSS release.  I stamped it and fussy cut it by hand, colored it with Copics and glued it directly to the cardbase. Details about this set in my post HERE

Then I stamped the sentiment from the beach stamp set and added Memory Box Fairy Jewels from the Pastel set.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!  Hope you enjoy the new release and here’s the

code for $5 off through 8/15…  5BUCKS

Have a great weekend!  Do any of you have an ebike?  We’re going to go looking at them this afternoon.

ttul,

p.s. links to the new products are in bold and the SSS picture in my post!  Thank you for looking/shopping through my links!  I appreciate it!
