NEW Memory Box Riverbank Large Layered Blooms and Exquisite Leaf Dies Card…

Hi everyone! We’re far from flowers blooming in Iowa today…woke up to ice and now a little snow! haha

Paper flowers are always in season though!  YAY!

and this one is so pretty and easy to make!  It’s really a clean and simple card with Memory Box 6×6 cardstock pads.  I used the 3 yellows from the Sunny Orange collection pad… prettier in real life!  The green is from the Green Lush pad.

I edged everything with a little Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and the mini ink blending tool.

When I glued the three petal sections together, I laid them on top of the envelope picture for placement… that sure works slick.  If I hadn’t thought of that last year, I would be fiddling for hours with placement. Insert eye rolling!

This is an A2 size card.

I die cut the Exquisite Leaf Frame, the three leaf image and single leaf image from the Exquisite Leaf Set for this card.  Gorgeous, gorgeous dies!!!  I love these leaves!  It’s gonna be fun playing with all the new dies.

I used a sentiment from the NEW poppystamps Colorful Life stamp set.  White heat embossed on Taylored Expressions Oreo cardstock.  Another fabulous set full of great sentiments!  Wishing you Happiness on your special day….enjoy each Joyful moment…your sweet smile can change the world…Big Hugs…Hello Sunshine and tons more!

I die cut Hello Lovely with one of the rectangles from the poppystamps contempo Greetings set.

I think that’s everything!  A little Spring in your day today and this yellow is so pretty and I’m not a yellow person! haha

Thank you for stopping by and for all your encouraging words!  I got my Valentines all done for the family and I’ll be posting them soon… that’s where I’ve been!  We had our annual Valentine, pizza party Saturday evening. Super fun!  Whoever wants to, makes ATCs and we pass them out.  Lilli was super creative and made cookie boxes!  So fun and yummy!

I’ll be back soon with more NEW from Memory Box, poppystamps and Birch Press Designs!

Memory Box Floral Collage and Birch Press Design Crystal Lingo Cards…

Hello everyone!  Here’s to flowers blooming everywhere!

I combined some dies for this card…nothing stamped on this one!  I LOVE this Jumbled Line Collage die…new from Memory Box.

The flowers are from the release before this last one.  I used the Layered Daisies, Layered Fresh Flowers and Thank You Posh Script dies.

Five of the new Memory Box Fairy Jewels and two of the Memory Box 6×6 cardstock pads.  I love that there are three shades for each of the 4 colors in the pads.  I used Berry Red and Lush Green.

The Jumbled Line Collage lends itself to any card size.  I made this one in the Mini Slim Size, 3 ½ by 6 inches.

Oh the leaves and berry branches are from the poppystamps Woven Basket Pop Up Easel Set.

My next card is Bright too! lol

Here’s a simple slim line card… I ink blended five colors of Distress Oxide onto a piece of cardstock using Taylored Expressions Ink blender brushes.  I let it dry overnight and heat embossed with white powder the slim line size stamp from Birch Press Design, Crystal Lingo.

The Happy and Birthday To You stamps are both from the same set and there are dies to cut out the big words.

I colored HAPPY with Copic Sketch Markers.

I used the Memory Box Slim Basic Rectangle Layers dies to cut the stamped panel and the black layer.

It kinda reminds me of a box of crayons! lol

Some beautiful days this week here in Iowa.  We live in a big old house with two Central air units… the one for the 2nd and 3rd floor pooped out on us Tuesday. ugh ugh ugh.  I like being cool!  So, here’s hoping we can get a new unit in fast!  It could be challenging, especially sleeping.

I’ll get off and figure out what I need to do next without getting hot! lol

Some of the supplies I used to make these cards… and while I have you here… look at the June Clearance SALE at Scrapbook.com!  I found some things I needed for birthdays!  yay!  Tons of good stuff!

Simon Says Stamp Magnolia Branches Embossing Folder…

Hi everyone!  I was trying for a vintage look with this NEW embossing folder… it turned out pretty and feminine!

This folder is from the NEW Born to Sparkle release

It’s easy to get a variety of ‘looks’ with this folder!

Using a piece of Memory Box watercolor cardstock in the folder, I ran it through the Big Shot.

Then using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink and a blender brush, I lightly inked over the entire surface of the panel.

I liked it plain but finally decided to add some color with a palette of chalks.  I don’t know if they even make them anymore!

I tied on some thin jute cord…

I die cut the Memory Box Thank You Posh Script die, added mounting tape to the back, distressed the edges of the panel with the Tim Holtz Distress Edge tool, inked around the edges and adhered it to a cardbase.

I used natural color Neenah cardstock for the thank you die and the cardbase.

It should’ve been a fast card but since it was an indecisive day… lol   It’s important to be happy with the card when done though, so I persevered!  lol

Linking up my card to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Anything Goes!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Check out the new release!  I bought a couple more things from it that I need to make up!  I’m running out of May though! lol

Memory Box…a Spring Hello Card…

Hello! I was just looking out the window at the wonder of everything blooming so beautifully!  YAY for Spring!

A clean and simple card to share with you today…not so much white but simple layers and elements.

I covered a piece of white cardstock with Cornelia Variegated Wide Washi Tape from Memory Box and die cut it with a Memory Box Stitched Circle die but this Wrapped Circle die from Memory Box would be great too!

I used the Memory Box Gloriosa Butterly Duo Outlines and Background smaller butterfly of the set.  Die cut in Memory Box Glitter Cardstock.

The Memory Box Antique Leaf Label die cut in white and partially inked so I could stamp the hello from the Memory Box Sunflower Wreath stamp set on the label part.

The cardbase panel and the panel under the circle are both die cut with Memory Box Wrapped Stitch Rectangle dies out of Taylored Expressions cardstock.

Layer everything up for this A2 card. I only used mounting tape for the label.

Here’s another card I made with this Antique Leaf Label…

Thank you for stopping by today! Hope all your flowers are budding or blooming! ❤

Cottage Cutz Gnome Sleeping in Hammock Card…

Hi everyone!  Something a little different this week…a sleepyhead!  A cute sleepyhead though!

I die cut this Gnome Sleeping in Hammock from Cottage Cutz, all in Neenah 110# white cardstock and colored the pieces with Copic Sketch Markers.  Easy coloring and I didn’t have to find cardstock scraps to die cut all the little pieces.  The only drawback is, you aren’t helping to use up your scraps stash! ho ho

Thinking about a sentiment… I grabbed a new set from My Favorite Things and used one of the sentiments.  I’m not sure who I’ll send this to!  It’s using that naughty B word that Tim and I didn’t let the girls use when they were growing up!  It was find something to do or I’ll find you something to do! lol

I made a grass stencil with a Memory Box Grass die.  Using a TE ink blending brush and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink, I did the grass.

Using a My Favorite Things cloud stencil, a TE ink blending brush and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink, I did the sky.

This is an A2 size card….blank on the inside so far!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope this little guy made you smile!
