Spellbinders Sealed Christmas Sprigs Card…

Hi everyone!  The dies I used on my card today are part of the NEW Spellbinders Sealed For Christmas Release.   I don’t have the wax seals but I was able to use this fun foliage and floral die set anyway and used one of the Make it Merry Sentiment Banner dies. Three banners in the set, Jingle All the Way, Make It Merry and the one I used, ‘Tis the Season.

I foiled the Plaid Tidings Hot Foil Plate on a white panel for the background and edged it with Gathered Twigs Distress ink.

I die cut the twigs a few times and placed them where I liked the arrangement, picked them up with Press n Seal, put mounting foam on the back (the thin stuff I like), turned it over and hovered over my front panel and then stuck it where I liked it!

Added the sentiment, Layered on red cardstock and then teal cardstock.

This is closer to an A7 size card than an A2.  The plaid foiled panel is A2 size.  It will fit in an A7 envelope and mail for one stamp!

I like it a lot!  I love these colors together.  Next time I would make the panel smaller and keep it to an A2 size card.  They’re easier to take pictures of! lol

Half way through September….I know I’m always saying this but I can’t believe it!  We’ll just keep making and hope we’re ready for the holidays, right?!  After all it’s people that are the most important!

I’ll be back with the cutest little ornaments I’m making soon!

Stampendous Santa Hugs Card and Tags…

Hi everyone!  So…..I fell in love with this adorable reindeer when I saw it!  Had to have it! lol  The Santa has grown on me too!  The sentiments that go with these dies are adorable too and have dies and make fun tags a long with being so cute on cards! Rudolph would be so cute by himself on a tag!

Here’s the inside…

Santa is a hugging machine with his arms open and used with these sentiments!

I made two tags with Holiday Hugs Sentiments Stamps and Hugs Accessories Dies. So many fun combos and add fun twine and Doodlebug colored clothespins!  CUTE!

Anything with a heart and postal!

Here’s some more photos of Santa and Rudolph!

I added some candy canes and peppermints from the Spellbinders Parcel and Post Christmas Decorations Die set.  Super fun smallish die set with holly, mistletoe and a bow too!

I took so many pictures of this card trying to capture the details.

I used the Art Glittering System Dries White Glue for the fluff on his hat trim and cuffs.  I wish I could show it to you IRL!

The pine branches are from the Spellbinders Winter Welcome Sled Die set.  An awesome die set for Holiday cards!

I love this Spellbinders In The Pines Embossing Folder too!  It’s big…use a half sheet of cardstock and get two A2 card bases in one shot!

I used some Gathered Twigs, Hickory Smoke and Lumberjack Plaid Distress inks to edge the die cuts.  Glue and mount to the cardbase.

The snow is just a torn piece of white cardstock.   Super fun card and tags!

Spellbinders Breezy Swing Small Die of the Month Club for August…

Hi everyone!  This is a change from the festive cards I’ve been posting.  I don’t normally do pastels so this is a real change for me! Such a dainty, lovely lady on a fine Summer day wishing you Hello!

The sentiment is a fun change from the ordinary also.  It comes separate so you can use it or not use it!

One of our granddaughters loves to swing…this might just be going to her.

I made it an A7 size so it gives the appearance of being clean and simple.

Decide what papers you want to use, die cut, glue and it’s ready to mail!  One postage stamp will do it! YAY!

I used Lawn Fawns Flower Market 6×6 paper pad for her dress and hat band.

I used the branch from the Sweet Birds on a Branch die set. Everything else comes in the set.

Hope she makes you smile!  Love the extra little details.  Spellbinders is really coming up with some amazing sets!

Learn about the Clubs of the month HERE and this particular Stamp and Die of the Month HERE.  Sign up window is from the 6th of the month to the 27th of the month!  Three more days to get in on this month!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I have some more Christmas to share real soon…as soon as I get pictures.

Spellbinders Large Die of the Month and 3D Embossing Folder of the Month Card…

Hi everyone! Something truly unusual today for this month’s Large Die of the Month Club from Spellbinders!  I was surprised to see a Pomegranate but it turned out so fun!

Growing up, my dad was the grocery shopper for my mom, she didn’t drive.  I remember him bringing home pomegranates and we’d sit around the table digging for the treasured fruit!  Fun memories.

Spellbinders has a great club program!  Join for a great price and cancel anytime.  Simple details HERE. (a short video with the details too)

I took a picture of the pomegranates before I glued them together so you could see what I cut out of what!

I used Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink to color the red layer of the pomegranate insides.

See the circles at the ends of the branches?  That’s where you glue on the flowers and buds!  So handy to have a good area to put glue on!

Die cutting and gluing….

then I decided to use the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month – Stylized Floral.  So pretty!  I ran it through the die cutting machine, no added techniques!

I did some inking for shading here and there… lumberjack red and gathered twigs distress inks.

THANKS is the sentiment die that comes with the set!

I made an A2 size card and it’s nice and snail mail friendly!

Thank you for stopping by today!  Take a look at the club offerings for the month… I still have one more to post next week!

Spellbinders August Clear Stamp and Die Set of the Month Club…

Can you believe it’s August already?!  eek!  What I notice first is the evenings getting dusky earlier! boo!

Hope this finds you creating and feeling good anyway!

I started my card today by stamping the floral stamp in the MISTI with  Memento Desert Sand Dye ink.  I know… it’s looking pretty Summery still!  I bet I should’ve been thinking Fall colors! oh well, there’s orange here! lol

I colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

The little bit of blue is in with the green…probably hard to see.  Some of you might remember going to stamp conventions and seeing Stamps By Judith’s booth?  She always colored her green foliage with a little bit of  blue.

The background I did on watercolor paper.  Regular Distress inks pressed onto a craft sheet, spritzed with water and press the paper into the ink.  One color at a time.  Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and Worn Lipstick.  Dab off extra color with a paper towel, more water spritzed on if the color is too strong.

I spattered with White ink after it was all dry.

I stamped a portion of the main flower image on the inside with Worn Lipstick Distress ink.  I meant to use oxide but the regular was out on the desk and I picked it up without thinking.  It looks good though.

The sentiment on the front and on the inside are from the set.

There are several to choose from in this stamp set and dies for all!  It’s great!  Two dies for the floral stamp too!  You can just die cut one side or the other since they’re separate!  Very cool idea!

This is a mini slimline size card.
