Hi everyone! Bringing you everything ‘dreamy’ with this release in Summery July! Check it all out HERE.
I received the Tropical Leaf Bunch die to play with. It’s from Simon Says Stamp but designed by Memory Box! I love it when I get the designs by MB!
You deserve a break but I don’t mean at Mc Donalds! lol I’m not a beach person but I’ve probably not been at the right beach to appreciate it!
Here I kept it very CAS (clean and simple).
I die cut a rectangle out of copy paper so I could ink blend an area centerish on the front of my A2 size cardbase.
I blended oxide inks with my blue and brown brushes without putting on more ink because I wanted it very light.
Then I did some splattering with Prize Ribbon and Ground Espresso Distress inks and then a little white acrylic after the ink splatters were dry.
I die cut three of the Tropical Leaf Bunch, glued them together and then directly to the cardbase.
The beach chair is from last months SSS release. I stamped it and fussy cut it by hand, colored it with Copics and glued it directly to the cardbase. Details about this set in my post HERE.
Then I stamped the sentiment from the beach stamp set and added Memory Box Fairy Jewels from the Pastel set.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! Hope you enjoy the new release and here’s the

Welcome to my blog today…feel the sand between your toes! Some of you can I bet! I’m feeling the chill but it’s in the house! lol
I have the opportunity today to post for Simon Says Stamp Let’s Chill Release using the new ‘Let’s Get Away’ clear stamp set. Lots of great stuff in this release! It’s always fun to make Summer scenes so I stamped them up with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the images with Copic Sketch Markers.
Then I made my background by stamping the wave lines stamp with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Ink, ink blending it above the waves and painting it in between the waves of the stamped image. I smeared some of the splatters so I had to go in with a damp paint brush to fix them. ugh.
I used Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink pads and ink blending brushes for the beach below the waves.
I made the drink into lemonade, personalized to me!
Fun stamp set with several fun sentiments!
Take a look at the rest of the release HERE and thanks again for stopping by! I appreciate it and hope it helps you stay cool!

Hi everyone! It’s a happy time of year for so many kids! I made several grad congrats cards but this is the only one I took pictures of.
I used the popular Lawn Fawn Platform Pop up die set! I have made so many of these already! It’s so fun and easy too!
I used an older Avery Elle stamp and die set for the images and the congrats, graduate strip is from Taylored Expressions. I’ll link to a newer version of the images below.
Super fun images… I didn’t think to get a picture of it flat. It fit into an A6 envelope.
Because I used Copic Sketch Markers to color, I die cut an extra piece of white cardstock to put on the back of the images to cover up the coloring. It worked great for the hats because then I could sandwich the acetate strips inbetween the colored hat and the plain hat die cuts.
Here’s the back… I used a two tone 12×12 bo bunny 65# cardstock for the base and the add on backdrop. The colors are kinda weird in the pictures but they matched much better IRL!
I stamped the sentiments from the set with Ranger Archival Black ink.
Thank you so much for stopping in today! I’m off to make some more flower cards!

Back again today with a NEW stamp from the latest Simon Says Stamp release …
I received the rubber stamp Arched Greens to create with. The center Arch section is removable!
I stamped it all in the MISTI on Canson XL watercolor paper with regular Distress inks. I inked up the stamp and spritzed it and stamped it. I used two different greens and the new prize ribbon blue.
It needed some flowers so I got out the NEW Birch Press Design Wispy Blooms Contour Layers die set. I die cut in the same watercolor paper and smooshed the cuts into Worn Lipstick Distress Ink that I’d spritzed with water.
I die cut the center out with the Memory Box Nested Globes die… it was a little short so I had to use the mat to keep it from cutting the bottom straight line, then readjust the die to lengthen the cut. SSS does have a die set that coordinates with this stamp!
The sentiment is a new poppystamps hot foil plate and die set with several sentiments. I’ll link it below too.
I’m linking to some challenge blogs…
